A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.

A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I am currently focusing on my vlog full time.

A: I have been married to Matt for since 2009, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser (born 2010), Caleb (born 2013) and Jackson (born in 2016).

A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.

I wake up at 5:30am and do the same thing, unload the dishwasher, put in any dishes that didn’t fit the night before, prep breakfast and other food for my daughter, and leave for work before she wakes up. The work of a mom never ends!
I love to see how you make them help you with the household. My mum did this with me and my brother too. When I moved out I knew everything I had to know how to clean, declutter, doing laundry , foodshopping, changing sheets and ironing. If I look at most of my friends they sometimes really struggled with such basic thing when they moved out ❤️
The fact that you have places to put things is so nice! Ive been living under construction for almost 8 years...but I do my best to keep it neat and clean. Can't wait until my home is finished. Kitchen and my bedroom will be next.
In the beginning of video you say “I can’t imagine coming down in the morning to a messy house” and I just realized that it became my second nature as well for about 2 years now SINCE I’ve started watching your channel 😍 I’ve got a small daughter myself since, and we follow the same routine, one parent bathing the baby in the evening, while second runs around and quickly cleaning up the apartment, and it’s is such a game changer! And by the end of the week we don’t have a huge mess of a house as we used to, it is pretty decent if you clean little by little every day! 🤩 Thank you for sharing your life, routines and habits, because it is not just entertainment, it really makes difference! ❤️

Love the energy! I have disability that prevents me from getting as much housework as I’d like to. That’s why I chose to have only one child, I always wanted a big family but it’s not meant to be. I’m lucky if I can get two or three chores done a day. You are so blessed! 💕

I love that they have morning chores! It’s good that you are training them to do these chores even though you could do them! I have twin boys and I want to do this with them as they grow!
I've found I am so much more productive the first couple hours in the morning thanks to your morning routines & then I'm in a better mood and less distracted to spend quality time with my daughter before I have to work from home during her nap! Positively changes my whole day.

Waking up to a clean house is so great isn't it. My mother always made sure that we left the lounge and kitchen all clean when we were little and that has stuck with me.
Also I have a robot vacuum cleaner as well and I love having it. It makes my life so much easier.
I'm definitely going to try the blender cleaning hack.

Haha I'm not quite sure! I some times think its about having not too much sleep! I often get around 6 hours and although I could sleep longer I always feel good on this amount! Thank you so much for watching xx
I have a mum hack haha :) When you place cutlery in the dishwasher cutlery rack , group the cutlery together , spoons , forks , teaspoons , then when they are done you grap a group and straight in their compartment :)
I do the blender cleaning hack all the time, it works perfectly
Morning routine for me is the busiest time of the day. Making bed, prep lunch, prep breakfast, cleaning bottles, prep uniform, laundry...the list just keep going. But thanks to your video, it made me excited and motivated to do all those chores :) thanks for sharing, hugs!

Your place looks like the rooms are small but yet you have all this amazing hidden storage. I love the floor plan I know about housework it's nonstop especially with children. We don't have a dishwasher but I will often do a similar challenge to you and see if I can put away the dishes that have air dried on the draining board before the toast pops up or kettle boils 😊 or I'll see if I can do something else in the time if I was able to get the washing up done earlier in the evening and so it was put away the night before xx
I use that method to clean my blender and milk foamer pot for the Nespresso machine. It works very well, but I do also give them both a quick wipe and rinse afterwards. I’d say that it gets the worst off rather than does the whole job.

Quick tip for the streaks on mirrors, I was told if you keeps the lights off overhead you’re less likely to get streaks.

I do the exact same! Put dishes away as kettle is boiling for first morning coffee. Works every time!

That's exactly how I clean our blender! I have to confess that I didn't know how to fully take apart our blender for 2 years, until one day I just twisted it and the bottom came off. There were no traces of anything in there so at least our model is so tight and sealed that the soapwater-blending cleans it well enough.

Yeah the best trick is to make it fun and have a go at it. So I now listen to music to make it fun. Ever since I started listening to bands I'm currently into like Delta Parole instead of just turning on the radio the I'm done so fast (well almost hehe). XOXO

I recently started doing the blender thing with the dish soap and I think it really does help, especially in making sure there's nothing left under the blades. Course half the time I've forgetten and unplugged the base and have to plug it in again.

The blender trick works well if you do it directly after using it. If it has settled it does not always get everything
I do the same with my morning flannel and same at night, I still use proper cleaning products but it’s handy for a quick wipe around 👍😀x

I just LOVE your cleaning videos 💕 With my 3 boys at similar ages I can relate sooo much - so many toys and the cleaning is neverending. P.s. that's how my mum taught me how to wash a blender as well so been doing it that way all my life ! Super simple specially if your blender has ridges on the inside makes it so easy to wash 😊

Really enjoyed this. I always try to look at the clock.. what time do you wake up and what time do you all leave the door. I feel you must get up super early to get all this done before going to school.
Thé blender hack is great! But it works best when the food you've blended up is still wet. If you let it sit and get dried on, it won't do the best job of getting it off.
I have done the blender washing trick, and I may or may not have put a bit too much dish soap in the blender and created a bit of a volcano. I laugh now. Lol. Love from Canada xxx
I needed this inspiration for today to be honest! Please let me know where you got your comforter set? I've never seen any like that, seems so much easier to clean instead of trying to fit a huge comforter in the washer. Does it just snap together or it is velcro?

Hi Emily loved this vlog as I need to be more motivated this time of year. Afte using my blender I put a little bit of washing up liquid and warm water in the bottle and blend again. Works well. x

I still hand wash my dishes as have no space for a dishwasher but I will challenge myself to get the dishes dried and put away before the end of a song. 😂 x
It's not sad the challenge you make! I tend to do the same with the water kettle or give myself time till the end of a song :) Works miracles!

I love how the racks in your dishwasher move up to waist level. I have a bad back and that would be a lifesaver. I wipe my sink down like that too.

I know I’m not supposed to, but I put my nutribullet cup and blender lid in the dishwasher 😬. Been doing it fir years and it’s still going strong!
I do the face cloth thing on an evening after I take my makeup off I'll use the other side of the cloth to wipe down the sink then throw it in the wash basket x
