Love the way you talk about Chanel fragrances & Chanel is hands down my favourite fragrance house!!! My favourites are Chance Eau Fraiche EDT, Coco (both versions), Allure Homme/Allure Edition Blanche & #19 EDP!! Looking to re-add the #19 EDP to my collection very soon.
I’ve only had my bottle of No5 EDP for a few weeks no but gosh I love it. It’s so sophisticated, and on a guy it goes a wee bit more masculine, it adds another dimension to it. So happy I have it.
Hi Amy, my favourite Chanel by far is No.5 Eau Premiere - completely effortless but still elegant. It would be my choice for the one perfume for life. Do try it if you get the chance. I have yet to try Cristalle! Chanel fragrances are quite special, aren't they? Great video! ❤️
Thank you for watching snd for the kind words! I have tried Eau Premiere and loved it. The only reason I didn’t buy it is because I thought it had similar qualities to L’eau, which I own. I adore Chanel perfumes!
@@savorsalvagescent2300 I haven't tried Le Lion yet... I refuse to pay big bucks for a small sample, so I'm waiting for the stores to open to try it out! Well I am partial to No. 19, that was my mother's signature when I was little, so there you go. 🌹
@@MyWorldofFragrance I am with you; I’ll wait for a complementary sample or inexpensive decant... but I am excited to try it. No 19 is so gutsy + gorgeous!!
I bought a bottle of the 5 Parfum at Bloomingdales simply because I was feeling down, had some money on me and wanted to get back to work (March 2020)...it works like a drug. It’s really expensive and I use it in excess. Then on Craigslist someone was selling a bottle of the EDT for 40.00...I use that a lot. I love it. I like the 19 too, but 5....just luxurious. Great video. Wishing you a great week!
Hi, Lynn! As I was making this, I was trying to decide and understand what it is that makes Chanel perfumes (especially 5) smell like money and elegance. Maybe ingredients, maybe composition, some of it I swear must be magic! So good. Thank you for the lovely post and hope you have a great week as well.
I grow up in somalia my mother was perfume lover my first exposure to channel five was my mother's Swiss Arabian perfume Janet al firdos wich is dupe for channel N'5
Thank you for your lovely post. I’ve always wanted to try the Jannet El Firdaus oil... didn’t know it smells like number 5! 💛 Hope you stay in touch. Best to you!
@@savorsalvagescent2300 Thank you,I am incense maker it is trade i learned from my mother Swiss Arabian perfumes are always the base for my incense They are what makes the incense last longer.your perfume displays and knowledge are super good i enjoy watching it.😊
I appreciate your approach to perfume- you bring a lot of knowledge to the table. Cristalle eau de toilette was my first Chanel perfume too- back in the 80's and it's still a favorite perfume of mine (and I keep it on hand). No. 19 eau de toilette (with the metal refillable bottle) was my second Chanel perfume and I miss it dearly. I was a teenager with a small income but they were both such beautiful fragrances that I would buy them without thinking twice. I have drifted away from Chanel for several years but would love to add some of the other Chanel classics to my collection because the are iconic. Thank you for the inspiration.
@@savorsalvagescent2300 thanks for asking. These days I have been wearing Burberry women which is a light fruity oriental. I did recently purchase Opium edt and am loving the notes/composition and the memories from the 80s it’s bringing up. My other daily scent is Carolina Herrera 212 which is a musky floral. I have been frequenting the Chanel counter recently trying to find my next Chanel scent:)
No.5 edp is my grandmother’s signature scent. I never bought it because I always smell it on her. Loved learning about these. I don’t own any Chanel scents because they lean powdery for the most part. Some of their newer scents are leaning away from that. Also, your hair and eyeshadow are popping! You look ready for spring!
Yes, many Chanels are powdery, but have you tried Sycomore? Vetiver heaven! Love that your grandmother wears No 5! Thx for the kind words about the makeup. I try but think I could learn some things! 😊☺️
I love all of the scents that you have reviewed. I know you don't really mention dupes, but two great dupes are silences by jacomo for Chanel number 19, and peace love and juicy by juicy couture for Chanel Cristalle which is hands down my favorite favorite perfume.
I've never smelled No22 but I do have Lady Stetson which is a supposed dupe. Would love to know if you'd agree. Also how long does the Cristalle EDP last on you? It's up next on my to buy list. Love ya ♥️
Hi! I don’t own Lady Stetson but sure am intrigued. If I remember correctly, the Cristalle EDP lasts 6-8 hours on me. But I have two other scents on my wrists at the moment so how about I wear it over the weekend and let you know? 😊
I love your videos… enjoy hearing about history of the fragrances!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Don’t forget Coco that one is sooo beautiful and baroque that one also smells like money ❗️❤️❤️
Thank you! I’m currently out of Coco and you remind me that I need to buy a new bottle!!
Nice to meet you^^
Good friend👍😁😍🍀
Have a wonderful day 😊
Nice to meet you! Thank you for the kind post!
I'm a chanel girl through & through, love 5, 19 & Cristalle and the eau verte version all day
Hi, RuthAnne! Aren’t they gorgeous? I don’t own the Eau Verte but remember it being wonderful. Have a great week!
I understand your reaction to Cristalle edp 😁
💛💛💛
I too, love Chanel. My favourites that I own and love are:
No5 EDT and EDP
No19 EDT - may get the EDP too
Cristalle EDT and EDP
Cristalle Eau Vert
Hi, Sarah! You just can’t go wrong with Chanel. I would love to try Cristalle eau Vert!
