Brings back great memories from the scoreboard. Was a big favourite. Pity it was a time when silverware was scarce at O.T. He deserves a case full of trophies.
Nice clip of the Estudiantes match, The King getting a couple from passes by Willie and ofc Georgie. Everyone ignored 'assist' stats then but jeez Willie must have been right up there. How would he have played on the flat, dry pitches of today rather than the mud baths of the 60s and 70s? Surely no one currently in the premier league has his close control/dribbling and very few his crossing ability. He would be any top three PL team today, no doubt.

Fantastic close control.
my childhood idol...awesome player...utd could do with a similar player
A brilliant player at Burnley before he went to Man U.
Magnificent player.
Superb dribbler, on par with best for dribbling even up there with the awesome Jimmy Johnston.

Willie Morgan was sheer class, nearly as good a dribbler as George Best and thats saying something.
What would be your historical ideal 11 in the history of Scottish football?
2:48 Carol Sartori must have felt so small here, when Morgan wouldn't pass to him.
Not necessarily. He was covered by a blue.
seanreillyireland was there known to be a rift between them Sean?
