Loved X-Files! There was a run of shows before the internet exploded that were great. X-Files, Buffy, Xena, STNG, etc. Their comics were usually pretty decent as well. Sorry to hear about the layoff. Reset and reload my friend! 🙏🏻
Great stuff Joe! You have to love Conan, right? The early 80’s were a really cool time for comics, cartoons, movies, video games and tv. I think by that time I was about 20 and thinking of myself as a “ comic book aficionado and collector proper” ( yeah, right 😂) I was and still am a huge X-Files fan ! Great story about Jaws and Spielberg’s lawyer .. wasn’t aware of that 😮 I have a few of those Topps comics and an issue of Jurassic Park with art by Gil Kane and inked by our guy George Perez in a box somewhere . Positive vibes being sent for the work Situation.. It’ll work out ! Take care buddy 😊
I really enjoyed the Lone Gunman comics that came from the X-files, wish they would of made more. I Pitty the Fool who didn't watch the Mr T comic series! Great video!
That 83 time period is just before i started getting comics. I must have had one second hand from then because i stared into that NBC ad a lot! Loved the ads then. They (ads) have been so dull for 30 years at least.
Howdy Joe! So sorry to hear about the lay off. I hope having more time to read comics as you mentioned can bring you a little light in a stressful situation. I know this works for me. * * * I think the X-Files were great for the first 4 or 5 seasons. For me, they jumped the shark with the movie (showing an actual flying saucer among other things). In my humble opinion, the X-Files was at best when you weren't sure if there was actually something out there or if it was just a series of conspiracies. * * * Thanks for showing all the ads inside the comics. They are always a cool thing to revisit. Sometimes, they were even the best parts of the comics! Ha! * * * Best of luck for what comes next and take care!
The Fight the Future Movie was good, I just didn't like how it continued with the series. Would have liked to have seen a stand-alone movie at the time. the newest season that came out a few years back was just awful. Have a great one Ranger. Thanks

Stay strong buddy. I really like all of those x-files as well. I recently read a lot of them and couldn’t believe how good they were! Charles adlard the artist for those early issues was the artist for the first 5 walking dead issues and is the co creator of the walking dead.
Adlard? well crap I didn't know that. awesome!! The Comic series for the x files was so great to have at the same time as the show run. Really added some coolness to it. Have a great one Thanks
