Im in the process of aligning a 65 impala first attempt i ended up loosening all 6 bolts on door side and nothing moved bolts completely loose not sure yet what's going on. Love the color by the way.
I didn't repair them. I went ahead and purchased new aftermarket complete door bracket with hinge pins and everything. All four hinges can get expensive and I think I paid about $400+. Honestly it was worth it. I plan on having the car for a long time.

Was it your pins and bushings? Having the same problem on my 64. Did you pop out the pins with a tool?
