- In this week's video, we're hanging the doors on the car to bodywork them with the rest of car. We're also mocking up the trim, mirrors, and drilling holes to make sure everything will fit. I used a self leveling level to help make sure the lines were straight. Let us know what you think! Stay tuned for more work on this build!

I could hear you just fine even with the fan! Doing good on that old bucket!
🤩🤩
Looking good!!!
Doors look good on the car, lots of work to fit them.
Replacement doors might have been a lot worse.
Trim looks good.
Be careful that Mrs. Lonestar Lows doesn't break a nail, my Wife broke one helping me and it cost me BIG 🙂, but she always offers to help.
Have a nice 4th of July.
Thanks for watching Ed! I got a 4 day weekend coming up!
Haha! No nails were broken in the making of this video. However it did cost him a few beers! Happy 4th of July!
@@mrslonestar My Wife wants me to buy a High Standard pistol with the Military mag release because she may break a nail on mine........this could get expensive.................
@@edgrabski1390 sounds like it!
I'm doing a Caddy and was told to reassemble the doors completely before hanging them ,or fit them temporary like you have done ,then fit all the glass motors locks etc all these parts weigh about 30 to 40 pounds and even with rebuilt hinges the door will drop and your trim won't line up ,hope this helps great build keep it up
Yes. That's one way to do it. Car should also be on the frame, there will need to be some fine tuning when it comes time. Thanks for watching 😎
I'm guessing that top mount isn't centered
I get it. Because that top clip is not in the center of the part that one side will either sit forward or back because it technically is reversed on each side. If it was in the middle it would be the exact same distance on each side. Thats a stupid stupid manufacturing flaw.... Geeze. And you wont know until its too late too. Uhg😂😂😂
Yessir.
Looking sic brother! I hope you drink plenty of water because your shirt was soaked from putting in that work! 🏆✌️😎
Yeah man...atleast a bottle every 30 mins lol
@@lonestarlows That’s good buddy! We need you to stick around with us!
Looks hot over there lol good work👌👌
Yeah never mind the fat dude sweating his ass off.
I got an email from southeast chevy parts, I think they're reporoducing those clips you're talking about.
Yes. I got the same email. The tail panels are also now reproduction
You know what you're doing, so I figure I'll ask.
I have stuck knockoffs. Wheels are on the car. One spun loose, other 3 no. Broke 2 wings off of one and been taking the air hammer to them, trying to get them loose. Any recommendations?
Spin forward to loosen....might come to a cut off wheel to remove. Must use grease when installing wire wheels
Whats the goal to get it painted?
Car needs blocked 2 more times then raptor, then blocked 1more time then paint.....
@@lonestarlows I enjoy every step and understand the importance of each and all the work it takes. The paint is going to look awesome.
I sure hope so. I already have 2 gallons of basecoat and reducer. I plan way ahead
