About the most beautiful choreography there is for this sublime piece of music. True ballet on ice. So uplifting. One of my favourite renditions ever of this music in movement.
I wish skaters were marked today based on their ability to take their time to fully develop the movements, as he does here, instead of rushing through as many movements in to gather as many points as possible. I usually watch a program and wait for the next jump. Here I don't care about the relative absence of jumps. It's a work of art and doesn't need them.
couldnt have put it better, i didnt care about waiting for a mega spin or jump, all i wanted to see was his arms and body moving light silk in the wind. As someone else stated nureyev on skates with arms like fonteyn. what a pleasure to watch and so relaxing rather than head spinning due to acrobatic moves , no need for this great performer the first and last ever to perform like that. Heaven on ice,
Just saw this! What fabulous technique and art combined and that is what skating and ballet is all about. He is a male Fonteyn-cannot make an ugly movement! And I have seen no one who covers the ice so easily-just as Fonteyn did on stage!
Absolutely breathtaking! Such musicality, grace and ease! I agree with MrTupilak that John Curry is "the greatest skater ever"! Thank you so much for uploading!
One criticism I have of Curry is that I never saw him do the skid spiral. He either chose not to perform it or couldn’t do it, although I find that hard to believe. Cousins however did do it and it became somewhat of a signature move for him. The skid spiral would have served Curry well as I suited his style perfectly.

Australian lover of both Ballet and Ice Dance, simply Nureyev on skates, both are now gone, but sublime artists. We will never see their art again.

Mesmerizing and magical

An absolute legend
Stunning! Those change of edge spread eagles are magic!

Divine.
The best figure skater ever!
Талантливый фигурист. Есть что-то общее с Сергеем Четверухиным в стиле.
