Fabulous looking burger. I fell in love with these decades ago from, yes, Hardees! They had more of a Salisbury steak type sauce. The other best burger is the chipotle bleu cheese that I first had at, yes, Chili's. Now that I'm pretty much settled down, I make my own. This one looks killer.

It was looking real good...Then you ruined it, with mayo. Both, ketchup, and mayo are banned substances around my house. (Obviously, I'll be substituting in a different sauce for this burger.)

That's unusual for a Packaged Sliced Swiss Cheese to melt AND be stringy especially on a Griddle, I'm going to have to try to find that Cheese. I use Sliced Swiss Cheese as the first layer on the crust of my Quiches because it barely melts and it keeps all the moister from the eggs, milk and veggies from dissolving the bottom crust as it bakes. The onion bun was a nice change of pace. I find that a traditional bun on a gorgeous juicy burger like this tends to get too soggy. Try a toasted focaccia roll or any other sturdy bun

Had to make some switches because the only Kobe our meat dept has heard of is Bryant and that would be a no on the onion rolls or Focaccia 😳 had to go with French hamburger buns. At least they both start with F 😂 points for finding the Wrights Bacon and Tillamook Swiss cheese. Hopefully the hubby will enjoy it when I’m done. He’s a huge fan of mushroom Swiss burgers.

@Chef Nathan Lippy All I can say is it’s a mental thing for me. I can’t eat a fungus no matter how much you dress it up. I can do a lot of things but mushrooms are a thing I can’t do.
@Blackstone Griddles I’m pretty simple for the most part. Good with different types of cheese depending on how melty I want it to look. I like bacon and some veggies like lettuce and tomato. Good with different sauces like bbq or just ketchup and mustard. I do like the occasional fried egg on a burger with that nice runny drip.
This guy cooks good and everything, but is it just me or does he sound a little light in the loafer's if you know what I mean? the fancy words, everything is stunning and fabulous.... I don't know, they need to just have Bruce Mitchell hosting the show for episodes from now on and that's it, these other guys need to switch to the cooking channel or the WE network or something.

I hate how the bacon just slides out when I'm eating one of these so I chop up the bacon raw then mix it with the beef before I put it on the grill. That also makes a whole lot of difference.
I know what you mean. However, I find that if you cook your bacon nice and crispy, you can avoid the dreaded pull plus you still get the benefit of the appearance of bacon on the finished burger
