Doesn't matter what's happening, Geralt saying it makes it sound legit. I'm going to pretend this was a bed time story for Ciri.
This is the most beautiful game I've seen in a while, wow, and Geralt as a narrator, a cherry on top.

This makes me think this is like a more mature Redwall. Makes me even more intriuged! Props to those who actually know those books.

Neat fact: The rats are based on actual pets of the developers. It's in the credits or something.
The one who made this game had a pure hatred for frogs and a fatherly love for rats .
If it makes you feel any better SplatterCat, being 5.7 is an ideal height in today's warfare. Being closer to the ground helps you not get shot. You also won't draw as much fire and you can probably hide in places other people can't. Being tall is good for sports, not so much for fighting anymore.

This game actually looks pretty cool. I love the combat animations and the armor looks really cool too. I'm definitely going to get this game. Thank you for showcasing it Splat.
I'm surprised Splat didn't clock on that everyone in the castle is Rat Splat's (Splatterrat) brother because they are all Children of the rat queen and rat king.
"cutsy storybook adventure" - while Reggie brutally finishes off enemies, heads are flying in the intro etc. :D
I had a good feeling on clicking the video, and here I am, still surprised and in a bit of an awe. Idk how easy it is to mix and match the cute fairy tale appearance with a roughless and demanding combat system but they sure make it look easy. It really hits you in the guts, well done Devs, well done.

I love how your squire is basically Toot from the old "The Mighty Hercules" cartoon! Love the art style!
I love how fast the animations are. Makes it feel more visceral and the pauses in between make the game feel tactical. Very well done. Best of both worlds I'd say.
One of the most COMPELLING opening sequences I have seen in a loooooong time. This whole game has a very Storybook feel to it. Very reminiscent of childhood.
