Some of his best, crazy he's still putting out career defining stuff this deep into his run. Temple Sleeper is one of my favorites so it should come as no surprise that I love this EP. Uptempo Burial is underrated
Too many electronic music fans are purists whereas Burial seems to be referencing all kinds of influences here (including "bad taste" ones). Reminds me of how on his mix for Mary Anne Hobbes from a few years ago it starts out with early rave/DnB but switches to hard trance part way in.
I dunno who you think you are, Burial. Playing on my memories of trying to get home after a disappointing after hour club. Stop taking me back, making me think about myself, my loves, and my delusions.
In a world that's seems to be so super focussed on perfection, this music's meaning grows stronger with time, its as real as it gets stands out but blends in
The worst thing about this track is the ad breaks every 3 minutes that completely fuck up the vibe. Otherwise, so, so sick. So awesome seeing euro dance style leads come back in the first half!
It's only with Burial where I'm like: 13min track? Yes, please. Sections where the track winds down, I wonder where its going, I think its ending soon, but no: Great! Switching to a different sound after 10min? Tell me more! I've been listening for like 10 years at this point. Keep going!
This is one of the most Avant Garde pieces of music production I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Somehow anti-structure yet so ethereal, surreal and beautiful.
Adding my 2 cents to the ‘sample’ conversation and not sure if this has been suggested yet. But recurring background melody is reminiscent of Sash’s ‘Ecuador’. Would love to be able to produce like this; have always wanted to learn. Wondering if being 30+ it would be hard to pick up the fundamentals, let alone create something deliberately ungoverned by the sequencing of ableton or other software I’m likely to use. I can’t help but feel that (like most Burial fans i guess) i could resonate with, and hopefully tap into the hauntologist, post singularity backwards reaching sound. Maybe one day
Many parts of this track give me untrue vibes. The transitions between the high energy runs of the mix are soooo good. Love this track. Dreamfear is really good too but this feels like a new era masterpiece. If he made a full length LP of this style I would love it just as much as Untrue.
Interesante viaje intelestelar con un hardcore groove debajo de un Herbie Hancock piano lick esperando ponchar. Extraordinario tema! Lo escucho para warm upear
Finally, a track that makes me feel like the older releases did (2005-2013)
Yeah feeling the same! The part from 2:40 - 6:00 are absolutely insane
For me, Antidawn EP already had a lot of that old vibe but I know what you mean
❤
100%
Just did my first "burial 2024" search and hit the jackpot! This reminds me of Saturday mornings eating cereal and playing wipeout on ps1
The amount of layers in this tracks is unbelievable. Instant classic!
unreal track. it combines so many elements of electronic music and the track is a pure masterpiece!
For me, this is one of his coolest tracks.
Agreed
that synth coming in at 3mins could well be one of the most emotionally resonating sounds I've ever heard
The beautiful melding of Freestyle, Burial and so much more. Best thing he has done in a while.
weird ass experimental 13 minute long track that can't decide what genre in wants to be in...
god I love you, Burial. Never change!
breakz I would say
@@krystianluniewicz3881 "breakz"? how is that a genre

Finally back to high energy. Haters will be hating. I like it.

I like it 😊❤😂😊❤😮
Chemz is a quality track too I love it..
Yeah, and Shock Power of Love has also a great set of tunes, exploring a soundspace similar to Chemz and Dreamfear/BSFA
@@gabbafm I still listen to that mix almost weekly. I was never a big trance guy but the way he mixes it works.
From 7:00 on this becomes the best track I've listened to in years
Prince I would die for you...
What a vibe! I think this is up there with his best work.
this is like some new "alien house" i LOVE IT.
BURIAL RELEASED THIS ON XL !!! AAAAAHHHHHHH
Long live XL records! Legendary label from way back when👍
80s synth meets UK garage meets stunning, grandiose ambient. WTF. So good.

what tek-ravity is the background tune that is faint at 1:14 and slided back again at 1:39 ¿?
it's like if Aphex Twin was part of KLF
and also nothing like that because Burial is amazing and unique.
hah, I see the comparison though!
Spot on mate🎼🎼what a tune
aphex is a genius composer. these are dj mashups. interesting but not on the same level with creating something new
@@dmx1592 my brother, you underestimate the skill it takes to make a "dj mashups"

beautiful, thank you burial. No one compares

Just heard Burial's soundtrack to Andrea Arnold's new film Bird. Amazing. Deep and as evocative as ever.
this is the most innovative track I've heard in a decade. pure magic
Hidden gem uploads from burial with a shade of aphex …no way 😮
what an exciting audio story. Sends shivers down to my spine. Like a dreamy walk in the tunnel of mirrors that does not seem to end.

Absolutely stunning… can’t stop listening. What a unique vibe burial created again in this beautiful piece of art ❤

Than track, this is more like mini-mixtape?
yeah that's just kind of how some of Burial's longer tracks are. combine lots of different ideas and often completely switch up within the same track.
