I was so relieved last night when one of the chasers reported the search and rescue was done and there were no serious injuries! The buildings can be fixed. I hope the animals are okay.
Props to you for keeping it simple. No overly dramatic music. No commentary. Just letting the video speak for itself.
I’m a truck driver that passes thru Lockett atleast 5 times a week, every week. I passed thru this morning and I had no idea this happened last night. Shocking to see all the destruction. But I’m so glad there were no serious injuries!
Is there an airplane company in Lockett????.....build crop dusters or something??
Yes, it looks like a small crop duster company. Or could be a storage and maintenance facility. But yes, they have several plane’s stationed there. Unfortunately it looked like most of them were heavily damaged.
@@tomasramos3470 Was looking at Google maps last night and the map gave George's Aircraft Repair as a name at the location. All 3 of those things could be taking place at the location.
@@tomasramos3470 Just now learned that this video from these same guys shows that, "Ground Scouring from the large tornado that hit Lockett, TX - 5/5/2022".
@@tomasramos3470 wow
Those high tension towers at 3:08 are probably going to take more than one afternoon to replace.
GOD Bless All. Lord help them. Hugs ♥ 🤗
Ummmm......
Feel bad for these people.
Glad no one was killed!
Trying to figure out where that tree actually originated. I honestly have never see a tree with its actual root ball on the roof like that.
How strong do you think the tornado was? Ef2?
For a pds warned tornado? Probably not
although i dont know if theyve announced the ef rating yet
@@sunakorose yeah, I saw the warning last night. But the damage doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be. But I definitely see what you are saying.
It looked so much worse on radar
further south it was it was at its peak intensity before heading north slowly weakening.
So many prayers for people last night.
Looked impressive on radar
Wow! I thought they were putting those new power poles in because they were indestructible. That one looks like a bent plastic straw.
wow, it stripped the bark of the trees
for how big the tornado was the damage isn't as bad as i thought it would be, probably ef 2
It was an EF-3 according to the NWS.
:,c so scary!!!!
63 now it wasn't until my 50th that I shook off all things juvenile and began to appreciate the gravity of these severe weather events.
Silly me I used to think that after tornado there'd be cash blowing for miles around.
My sympathy in your crisis.🙏
Possible it was an EF2.
It was an EF-3.
It probably sounds weird.. but it wasn't as bad as it could've been.. thank God
looks like EF-1/EF-2 damage
Man that would’ve been a much better alternative, they classified it as an EF-3
@@jasonjuarez8692 that's all good.. I wasn't classifying the tornado as an ef1 or ef2 just the damage that's being shown by this drone..
Looks high end EF2 to me
Yeah at most a midrange ef2.
The NWS said it was an EF-3.
@@thitsugaya1224 Crazy how things are rated differently in different parts of the country.
It’s good this thing weakened before hitting Lockett could have been much worse
Lockett dodged a bullet. That thing had radar indicated 220 mph windspeeds just before it made contact with the populated area. It is quite likely that Lockett survived because the tornado was already starting to dissipate. Otherwise this might have been a horrible EF5 story. I'm not a religious man, but here I can only say thank god.
Tuan SujudKU UNTUk TUANs larung saji
Looks like they all gambled and lost
Omg A tree fell on someone's house
