    I heard there's 4 types of rose breasted cockatoo, north, south, east, west, each differing in shades of red and grey. Is this true?

      Yes I’ve also heard of that to but there’s not enough different to be there own subspecies, more of a subspecies in a subspecies:)

    Carnaby's have visual difference between the genders... The males are the ones with the more gray dusty eye patch, with having a black beak. for females, instead of gray its white with them also having a white beak. The Juveniles take on the appearance of the females before reaching maturity if they are male. They only travel to the wheat belt to breed during winter, most of them stay in Gnangara forest during non breeding months. Though I have seen flocks all the way in Collie before and see them flying over the suburbs
    Baudins are the same coloring as the Carnaby's, with the same visual difference between genders and the eye ring is not the only way to tell them apart because of this
    I live in western Australia and i love the black cockies, where the info comes from

    • @will_the_lad
      @will_the_lad  2 місяці тому

      @will_the_lad galah is more common Australia-wide, actually. But sulphies seems to enjoy human food more.

    I think that sulphies are smarter than galahs and corellas
