I use a section of old carbon arrow, pack sections of the mono do the boiling/ ice water in big baking pans not only does it work well. It stores them easy in the drawer too.

Excellent quick tip video to start the new mini series. One could tack a small nail or use a small screw in hook 🪝 for a tie off point. I definitely will have to try that and get to tying soon once I get more things moved into the new house 🏡 I haven’t been able to tie flies for 3 years. Small rubber band on the end of the dowel should save having to tie off and keep everything in place
