    Hi broo …. My first time in your channel, very helpful Ur tips …. I have a few questions, if you don’t mind, what countries will you recommend me to target for my first campaign and get out from learning phase ? It’s a Latin song promo Reggaeton, on Spotify and how many ads set ?

      If you are just starting, I would do a whole country and then in the reporting later on you can see what cities/states engaged with your music the most. However, don't start with the U.S. because it will be the most expansive.
      Try Mexico, Colombia, LATAM counties tend to be wayyy cheaper to advertise in. Keep it simple, one or 2 ad-sets.

    Hi Zaryn. Great content here and really well explained. Now I have a question. What would you do if you can't exit the learning phase and can't use a different event? Right now, we're running ads on a new ad manager and Facebook blocks our spending limit to 70$. We're selling an online course using ClickFunnels and a simple landing page. There is no way to use a different event and we can't raise our budget. What would you do?

      Hey there!
      I would start by optimizing for the highest intent that you have close to 40-50 event fires for....which can be tough when you start.

    Hi , I would like to ask, in the two cases of 50 dollars and 75 dollars, how many ad set should be set up in the beginning of a campaign?

      It depends what I expect the CPA to be, for exmaple if my expected CPA is $10 then I need about $500/a week per ad-set to exit the learning phase, therefore it would be smart to long term only have 1 ad-set. However when starting, you need to test so I would be willing to sacrifice existing the learning phase to test 2 audiences and then optimize with those learnings later.

    Does this still apply for local biz doing lead gen? For example a local dance school. It’s a challenge for me to get 50 leads for a trial offer in a week. What do you recommend?

      It does, but even if you can’t get 50 leads in a week it doesn’t mean your campaigns won’t work // they just may not reach their full potential. I’ve had plenty of local campaigns that do 30-40 leads a week and drive low cost CPLs without reaching the 50 cvr threshold. So it’s a guideline but not a deal breaker.

    How come lower intention makes it more profitable than higher intention? If we optimize for add-to-card how can we turn those who have added to cart into sales? Apart from changing optimization what can we do more, Do you have another recommendation? Thank you in advance please

    I only want to run ads for 3days. Is it possible to exit learning phase within 3 days? My ads campaign is “new messages” optimization- link clicks

      Unlikely, unless you are spending ALOT of money and getting a lot of conversions.

    Hi, Great video. My question is I have a campaign that was optimized for view content. I exited the learning phase in 3 days as the adset was $5 per day. What is the next step forward? How do I target the audience for purchase now with the same campaign or adset? Please suggest. Thank you.

      Hi There -- every time you make a significant change to your ad-set settings you will restart the learning phase. The answer to your question is not a simple one, it really depends on how many conversions you are getting in a 7-day window, your budget, and a few other factors, and if you want to learn in-depth about this you can do so at markethustleacademy.com

      50 conversion, clicks, video views, it depends on the campaign objective, but 50 is generally the number of actions.

    Is it fair to say if your FB ads are in Learning phase, it means that FB is working extra hard to find ways to convert since your ads are simply not converting? I think its a bad sign for your ads to be in FB learning phase and then even worse when it says Learning Limited

      It is working a bit harder yes, as it is unsure, or it could be that you keep changing settings and continuously are resetting it.

    Heyy, have you been in a situation where there are random $99 purchase shown in your Facebook ads manager but no sales in your online shopify store? Also, the product price is not even $99, it's 29.99$, do you know why Facebook ads manager is showing these random $99 purchase lately? ( my pixel is setup correctly, checked 3 times)

      Sounds like a pixel tracking issue if the wrong price is coming in. Also, maybe you should check your Shopify attributtion settings as they are likely not the same as Facebook -- Facebook defaults to a 7 day click 1-day view, so if they saw the ad and did not click but shopped within 1 day then Facebook would take the credit and Shopify would not recognize view through attribution -- however, that his highly unlikley unless you are a big brand and/or are spending TONS of money on ads.

    I thought I need 50 conversions event(Purchase) in the past 7 days in the past data in order to run the conversion event(Purchase) ad. So it’s not? Actually I need 50 conversions event in the recent ad set that run 7 days, it’s not related the past data of other ad sets. Am I correct?

      You can run a conversion campaign for purchase on Facebook, even is you have had no conversions fire. However, it's unlikely your campaign will perform well if the pixel has little to no data.     I've never seen ''the learning phase''' before in my ads manager, it's always active. Why is that so?

      That is strange -- typically you would see for Conversion campaigns under the 'delivery' column in ads manager. Sometimes this column might not be selected, and you might need to customize your video to see it.

      @@MarketHustle Thank you, i've followed your advice to get to the minimum 50 conversions using the easiest one to convert "VIEW PRODUCT" over 7 days to train the pixel....using $100 a day....whats the next move to narrow down the funnel? use the same ad set but change the conversion to "ADD TO CART" using the same budget? and stop running the "VIEW PRODUCT" conversion ad? or a certain percentage of my budget to "view budget ad", certain percentage to "View Product ad", and/or run retargeting ads to the people who have already viewed my page ? thank you in advance and love the vids !

    From the graph, it looks like AFTER the "learning phase" your "cost per result was HIGHER. So what is the advantage of exiting the learning phase then? On your graph, you got to over 50 conversions on the Dec 9th. Other than the small spike in "cost per result" on the 4th Dec, the "cost per result" was nice and low up to 11th Dec. After that date the "cost per result" spiked more often and trended higher.

      Post-learning phase (typically) costs decrease and conversions volume day-over-day stabilizes, as the algorithm has 'learned' who is the core audience.

      The advantage of exiting the learning phase means that FB Is no longer struggling to find out who is more likely to make your intended action on your ads. Being in the learning phase itself means like FB is trying hard to find who it is you are trying to target who will likely make the actions you want. If your ads even GOes into Learning Phase, its usually a bad sign .. because many times, ads that are doing well will not need to do so.. Now Learning Limited is th eworse becuase it basically means FB attempted with rigor to figure things out for you, but ran dry its resources to do so.. basically meaning something is wrong in your ad creative, your offering, your service, or you're simply not finding any demand for what you are selling in the audiences or markets you are targeting. Don't focus too much on that graph. The graph is just an example.. Your CPA"s can still be high even after learning phase-- it all depends on a multitude of variables.. afterall, we're running a business and all businesses, ads, ad creatives, copy, markets, targeting, etc is unique

    Is it ok for your ads to spend more than your product margin without a conversion? My guts telling me no. Should you be losing money in the learning phase?

      If you are an established business, that has a product that makes sense selling online, the answer will be no 99% perfect of the time. However, most startup companies will likely need to invest a good chunk of change before they start breaking evening/profiting. 5 years ago I might have given you a diff response, but costs are at an all time high and everyone has already figured this Facebook ads hustle out.

It’s incredibly loud and if by mistakes you happen to have high volume on your speakers, the real first sound (a sort of bass frequency sound) will just blow your speaker and ruin them if you’re unlucky. I haven’t experienced with with headphones but i’m not sure headphone users are happy to hear it nor will make your content better/more appealing

    Hi Zaryn. My personal injury law firm budgets $3,000 a month for advertising on the Facebook and Instagram platforms. We use different ad structures for in-platform campaigns [video - > retargeting based on percentage watched], and [blog content - > retargeting anyone who clicks a link within the article to a free consultation page]. My question is about the latter structure.
    At this point the retargeting campaign directs a user to the same "Free Consultation," page they did not convert on the first time around. This seems weird but our firm does not have another offer. As expected this is producing limited conversions. My question is this: Do you think it would be a better option to 1) Set up a retargeting Message Ad, or; 2) set up a retargeting campaign to another blog article, or; 3) Test both?
    The easy answer is to test both but i'm curious if you've encountered a similar situation.
    * side note: I posted this question on the wrong video. I watched a few of your recent videos. Very educational. Thanks for posting.

      Hmmm -- It's hard to really say without seeing the pages, but my gut would say -- that it's hard to prospect in your space Facebook does not have signals to know who will have an accident/case in the future. That said, at a minimum -- you want to test a series of messages across each retargeting campaign to understand which is the optimal message for each audience, and #2 -- consider testing remarketing with a Native platform lead gen form vs. sending them to the website, if they have already been to the site.
      Best I can share with the info -- but law firms are a tougher nut to crack for FB ads.
