I give you a ton of props for when you do a collab you really promote/involve the other person in your videos. I've seen others who practically edit guests out
As much as I love your Disney, and Universal Park visits, I really enjoy your Los Angeles walking tours. I’ve visited Southern California many times, but never find the time for these ground level visits. Hope you do more of these type of postings, of the famous, and infamous areas.
Me too! As a local Angeleno, I like how you give context to places I used to walk by every day when I worked in the studio district in Burbank. I like seeing you guys give context to every day land marks that we see all the time. I learned a lot of this in film school but when I was in college I didn’t really have an interest in exploring and history the way I do now, so I’m glad you guys are giving all of this info again now. I did miss your blonde friend though Adam, always like seeing her in your LA videos! She reminds me of myself haha. Hope to see you guys exploring one day.
I have never met Adam or GIV, however they both seem like genuinely very nice and sincere gentlemen. Great to see them together! I like to support the very genuine YT’s, such as these guys, Chris Provost and David Fresh Baked. I like that they make their videos educational, not just for the money grab. 👍
What a great video I love when you do video s with the GIV miss these walk-around videos in LA Adam , and the woo part on the hollywood sign 😀 classic ,
HEY ATW...WHAT A GREAT COLLAB WITH THE GIV! HE'S SUCH a humble guy just like yourself! You visited so many famous HOLLYWOOD locales, I couldn't keep track of them all. Thanks.
Ty Amanda you and Chris always provide awesome information and show how much y'all care. And help everyone have an amazing journey. I still plan on coming down to visit the parks. And hopefully see y'all.
Adam welcome back to your second home So. Cal. Always love your vids from Hollywood and the sign has me reminiscing of your old vlogs! Should have taken the GIV to Bobs Big Boy would have loved to see get his feed back on that iconic eating establishment! You use to traverse up Griffith park hills coming across the abandon swimming pool! Awesome vlog!
Actress Peg Entwistle moved to Hollywood when she was 21 in hopes of becoming Hollywood's next big star however throughout the years she could only get small movie roles. This all changed when a big movie for that time was in the works and the lead female for the movie came down to Peg and another actress. Peg was really excited for she saw this as her big break that would finally put her in the spotlight, so she worked tirelessly through the night reading the script over and over again. When it came down to picking the lead actress unfortunately Peg was not chosen to play the part even though she knew the script like the back of her hand, this led to her depression so on a cold night in September 1932 Peg climbed up the hill toward the Hollywood sign and climbed the letter H and jumped off to her own demise. Two days later a s note was found basically saying that because she didn't get that part she didn't think she was never going to make it in Hollywood and get the recognition that she wanted. Now people say on a cold September night you can sometimes see the ghost of Peg in her white dress on top of the H and around the Hollywood sign Peg Entwistle was only 24 years old.
Hey Adam! That clothing store that everyone was lining up for was a pop up merch event for a famous kpop girl group known as Twice! I saw you across the street while I was waiting in line 😂
Thank you for sharing this video, Pretty Woman is one of my all time favorite movies. I've always wondered if it was a real place or a set. Thank you for sharing and thank you for the awesome video.
This is so fun! I watch both of your videos all the time. Would love to spend a day at a ball park or seeing some tourist attractions in LA with you guys sometime! You both seem really down to earth and fun. Los Angeles is so interesting and I’m always amazed there’s never a shortage of things to see and do in my own backyard. I used to go to the Melrose Trading Post all the time back in college. Haven’t been since the pandemic. Recently moved back to Los Angeles and so glad to see the Trading Post is back open. Will definitely have to go check it out soon. Brought back a lot of memories for me too. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Dave Grohl there, seems like his type of vibe. Do they still sell vegan sausages? I used to like to buy them. Sometimes I like to buy used books there or old toys. I’m trying to be a bit of a minimalist too but when it comes to older books that might not be easy to find online then I’m all about supporting literature and knowledge. At 30 min in you’re thinking of the slate :) some people call it a clapboard or a marker.
Another great video. Loved seeing all the sites. We're hoping to make it there someday. For now we have the Woo. Take care and safe travels. Steve and Sandee
One of the wonderful place I went to when I was in LA was Little Tokyo. Not sure if you've made a video there before but it's in my highly recommended place. It's the closest to having the Japan vibes.
It's called a slate, for timing the sound roll to the film roll, when using film. Most of the time now the visual timing of the clapper going down isn't necessary, because many productions shoot digital, where the sound and video are recorded together to a hard drive.
I believe that would be Mae West with WC Fields. And the movie thing 🎬 is called a clapper board, or a dumb slate. We love both u Adam & GIV! We live near PForge, my sister lives in Oxnard, CA
Melrose looks to be mural central. Pretty rad. Front Hollywood & back of the Hollywood sign murals then ending up by the real one. GIV got lucky to tour/touch it awhile back too. HOLLYWOO...LOL 👍
I have climbed the sign. Back when they were planning on tearing it down and some of the letters were missing. Good ol days! I Can't believe they were going to get rid of it. SO glad they did not.
Adam great to see u and the GIV vlogging together, love the history on old Hollywood, hopefully u can meet up with Jacob The Carpetbagger, he's in California too. Love all the vlogs..safe travels
I live in California too born and raised in Simi Valley which is not far from LA moved away from there to Northern California but I visit often and I noticed a guy with a stick in his hand when I use to go to Melrose Avenue or Hollywood Sunset Boulevard when I was a teenager we always had weapons too
While I'm familiar with most of your other guests, I have never seen a German in Venice. I'll definitely check him out 👍. Thanks for making me miss Hollywood again while I look outside at snow.
One note- the area GIV said was the area Slash played while at Fairfax HS is incorrect- he played at the wall area of the southern end of the “quad” (the rectangular area between the auditorium and the main campus). It was kind of an amphitheater of sorts where aspiring bands would play during lunch (The Red Hot Chili Peppers also played there when they were all in high school). It’s been painted with the school’s name many times over the years, including by David Arquette (of “Scream” fame) who also went there (he was into graffiti art at the time). How do I know this? Because I went there (graduated 1991) and even went to high school with Arquette for a time (he graduated in 1989). We even did time in the drama club for a year.
Hey Adam , I read that exact same article about the brisket & grill * Re David Grohl.. I believe it was online a few weeks ago. I saw it on a MSN article. The lady you’re referring to next to the W. C Field’s ( & Charlie Chaplin Mural is non other than MAE WEST. Really enjoy these types of video’s and the fact that you include other UA-camr’s . Originally from Phila…. Went to Catholic school in Downtown Phila were the Original LOVE Artpiece used to be & rode a bus to the “ EL” then another bus to school. This was from 1980-84 but the City wasn’t as dangerous. I also worked as a Messenger after school for a trucking Company my Aunt worked for & many of the Sites brought back memories when you were doing those videos.
Love Adam and German together, always put on amazing content
I give you a ton of props for when you do a collab you really promote/involve the other person in your videos. I've seen others who practically edit guests out
That's because most people on UA-cam unfortunately are in it for the money more then anything else, Adams in it for the whole picture, get it?
Very true..

I love it any time there is a Funny Farm reference! Very underrated movie!
