    I love seeing people talk so positively about her. Watching her interviews, I always got a good vibe from her. She always seemed so sweet, humble, humorous, intelligent, and down to earth. And everyone close to her just to confirms that. Growing up, I definitely looked up to her. I love watching the documentary, and watching everything she did. But when they get to the part where they filmed Rock the Boat, I get sad because we all know what happens next ):

      Edlyn Miller You know whenever I think of Aaliyah's death I can't help to think why God took her so early. And when I think about how corrupted the music industry has become I think maybe that's why God took her so early because maybe God didn't want her to be corrupted or a sell out or get mixed in with the wrong people. Perhaps that's why Aaliyah accomplished so much before she died.

    I remember exactly where I was when I heard she passed away. It's funny how you can feel grief over someone you don't know personally, or never even met. If it's true about a conspiracy against her.. The truth will come out.. The truth will come when Aaliyah is seen walking the streets of gold, and those who wronged her are found roasting with their daddy the devil for the evil and pain they inflicted on so many for a beautiful life cut short.~Liz

      I would like to announce , I am still alive and I was the victim of R.Kelly . to all of the people who cared about me after the sexual assault I was banned from speaking to the media, and forced to play a false image under terms of my contract. and he faked my death to hide it ! I have been featured as a unlisted vocalist. in Chris Brown's "( she ain't you)" quoted about by Drake , J.Cole, Beyonce & Jay-z . . . and many others including fans who suspected foul play in the plain crash. Thank you for your continued support in this tragedy. I look forward to being able to speak out on the issue. meanwhile there are several unreleased interviews and tracks I anticipate being released soon, including one I did while workings with Plies as a manager. I haven't been on screen since then but I have been writing and coproducing for hot artist, now hoping to finalize some major deals with alot really big names soon.
      God bless,
      Aaliyah (aka. Opal /Phylicia) and many more roles not revealed thru my image yet .

      no disrepsect towards other celebrities but aaliyahs death WAS TRULY TRAGIC all the other celebrities like whitney houston heath ledger river phoenix did it to themselves by abusing drugs :( just saying

    • @jamestyler7697
      @jamestyler7697 7 років тому +10

      Well, I mean Stratten and Selena died pretty violently at the hands of people who proposed to have loved them, while Ofra Haza contracted a disease from a guy who apparently knew he had it but didn't disclose it to anyone. By comparison, Aaliyah's death was pretty benign but not by much. All four had such promise and died miserably.

    • @roxannemua9350
      @roxannemua9350 7 років тому +3

      true but people argue that selena wasnt as sad as aaliyahs death due to fact that her extreme naiveness almost stupidity to meet up alone with a stalker psycho women she recently fired collecting paperwork to fuck her over more who happen to be obsessed with her and was mentally unstable aka crazy with a extensive criminal history met her up in a hotel room by herself she didint even mention it to her fiance chris while aaliyah was killed finishing up a video shoot while simultaneously filming matrix and queen of the damned which she didnt get to finish btw which is why it sucked so much she died because of a coked up pilot who was overzealous and lied his way into a pilot license he was a mediocre pilot at best who was inexperienced aaliyah was actually his first ever official client to fly he was never even truly certified to fly that play he was basically incompetent so yes i think aaliyahs death was sadder no disrespect to selena i loved her and she was beautiful and amazing but these are the facts

    • @jamestyler7697
      @jamestyler7697 7 років тому +1

      Very interesting wasn't aware of some these facts - so I'd venture to say that Selena actually was "tragic" as tragedy usually belies some individual flaw (in her case a trusting nature, as was the case with Dorothy Stratten as well), while Aaliyah's death was flat out senseless - unless you buy into conspiracies that she was "murdered" or something.

    She's a staple of my childhood, my uncle loved her so much, I see why. I'm currently 22 and I can't imagine losing my life at this time, it's crazy that I've reached the age this angel left us. Most I can say is "thank you" to her for the musical memories of my childhood and for gracing us with her beautiful soul.
    See you later baby girl ✨👼🏻

    A long time ago in 2002 I saw her in "Try Again" on MTV, but I wasn't able to see the video in full. Three years ago I was able to see her again in "Are You That Somebody?" and in "If Your Girl Only Knew", I googled her name and when I found out she passed away so soon I started listening to her music (only in UA-cam), watching her videos and interviews. I wasn't able to listen to her music because I'm born in 1994 and she passed away in 2001 so it was very hard for me to listen to her music. And after three years I'm listening to her music I feel very close to her family and all those people who suffered this tragic loss.

    I think Diddy said "U can't find nothing negative to say about her". I've seen videos of people trashing this princess mostly about her relationship with R. Kelly defending his ass basically saying she lied about her age etc. str8 bullshit. People nowadays find anything to hate on someone. It is possible that she just may have been an almost flawless beauty with a heart of gold. ppl needa stop talking shit making vids about someone u don't even know. jealous cuz she was everything u will never be. not even beyonce got shit on her. Aaliyah was & will always be one of the best.

      I'm with you on that. My problem is why didn't someone put their foot down and refused to put all that stuff on the plane. Let a pilot or anyone experienced with planes in some sort, tell me the plane is over loaded. That's a "Awww... Hell 2 The Naw. I'm not getting on until this is correct" moment. Crazy that people were concerned about stuff and not their lives.
