9/11 actually overshadowed her death at that time... I will NEVER forget either but Aaliyah died end of August and 9/11 was early September and once that happened it took over the news and everything at that time and Aaliyah death kind of went under the radar or wasn't as broadcasted
@@Jotiyh yep put Aaliyah plane crash on the back burner. Exactly 💯😊. After 9/11/2001 & the death of Aaliyah changed the music 🌎 & the United States Of America same circumstances 17 day's apart.
Even after all these years, it's still so hard to believe she's gone. Such a vibrant, sweet, loving, beautiful person. I miss her all the time ♥ 🕊
Now I see why she was so tired by the time she shot rock the boat, she was on the constant move barely getting any sleep
Very true💔 her schedule was packed
Barry Hankerson worked her like a slave you see how crazy her promo was this year just off them rereleasing her music
😢. It’s sad of what female artists go through plus sexual harassment on top of it. Men will never understand 😢
@@WO2411 damn right this summer “2021” it felt like Aaliyah was dropping new music with all of her music finally being available to the public so I could imagine how much they were pushing the promotions when it was brand new.
@@vinny3136 💯
She was so full of energy and life , gosh continue to Rest In Peace gorgeous.
Watching this just instantly brightened my otherwise gloomy day. Miss you much, Aaliyah 💜💜💜
Same! 🤍🥺
The clarity of this video is unbelievable. I feel like I'm 12 yo watching this on MTV all over again.. I will never forget the heartbreak I felt when she passed, and this Diary episode and how she mentioned what she wanted to be remembered for.. I believe it only aired a month or 2 before her death. We love you, Aaliyah. Forever and always ❤
My goodness- She was just so special. We lost a gem. Continue to rest well baby girl.
I’m so happy she got to do this before she passed. Aaliyah and Eric just seemed so fun together and she was so down to earth! I also just noticed the drag Queen was Nick Cannon 😂
Wow, 20 years really have passed since her transition!?
Although so hard to bring myself to watch, I'm glad we get to re-live these moments & experience her in this way...
Babygirl sure knew how to live, thank you for reminding us to be present and love on everything and everyone while we have today. Being from the D, she was a legend long before her untimely & tragic passing and is greatly missed...Aaliyah's energy is unmatched!!! ❤❤❤
her voice is so calm and gentle
Video quality is crispy
such a beautiful soul truly. The man that did her make-up was way before his time because her makeup was flawless and her eyebrows were perfect! He bodied her make-up. Her whole crew seemed so sweet. I LOVED ME SOME Aaliyah MAN. MAY her soul as well as her beloved friends that passed along with her be at continuous peace also rip to her dad as well
The true queen of R&B
Her spirit is so beautiful I love her!!!
They were all so young and hard working and just living their dreams. This is still so very sad 😢
She was most definitely a beautiful soul.
I wish she never died so early, she was blessed with a beautiful and angelic voice
She will always be alive in her music 🎵🎶 🎙️
I’m so happy we got to see her like this. This was everything.
My heart dropped every time she would read out the date, not knowing then how close her time was almost up. Seeing this episode of Diary after more than twenty years is nostalgic. As a fan, I find peace knowing her final days were filled with love and fun.
I‘m already excited and can‘t wait to see this in full length!
R.I.P. you are sorely missed and were truly one in a million and an angel on earth! 🙏🏼🕊🐐
This is so sad. Her life was cut short in the prime of her career. She had such great relationships with the two Erics. R.I.P Also, there's a brief clip of the Twin Towers, which were destroyed a couple of weeks after Aaliyah's death. The last part of 2001 was so tragic.
Omg her smile💖 Rest In Peace Baby Girl. We miss you so damn much
She is amazing. She always was my favorite and still is. Having her music finally get released again means the world to me. She was one of a kind.
R I P Aaliyah we miss you and Left Eye Natina Reed DMX and the rest of them
I remember this episode so vividly. I thought she was the coolest, sweetest person -- which made her death a few weeks
later and even harder blow. RIP Aaliyah, so glad to see your legacy live on.
We gonna hear her angelic soft ass voice in crystal clear high definition 🥺
Every time I saw Aaliyah she made me smiled 🙏🏾
She was truly loved and cared for 🤍
She was a BEAUTY. If there's a such thing as reincarnation I wanna come back looking that beautiful, with a heart after God's own heart. God rest her soul. Aaliyah ❤️💕
There is no such thing as a reincarnation. Get ready to meet Yahweh Elohim and His Son Yeshua when you leave this world. Something Aaliyah knew before she passed away.
she will always be present in our hearts and in our thoughts, let's remember her as we knew her for the person she was for the artist she was and for her splendid smile,
I send you a warm hug (do it too putting a like) we love you Aaliyah 😚💙🌟
I felt the need to share this Aaliyah video! 😍❤️🌷
She’s still alive in spirit ☺️❤️
@@chillin9822 yes it is true!❤️
The world lost a sister, my whole world stopped for a moment when it hit the news. Love, Forever and ever Aaliyah. You changed the world.
She truly was an angel and genuinely cared about her fans😩 R.I.P. Queen 👑🕊🙏🏽
Aaliyah is one of my favorite female singers and music inspirations!!! 🎵 🎼 🎶 🎵 🎶 😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤ ❤️ 😍 🤩
Forever in our Hearts Aaliyah 🙏🏽♥️🕊️
They filmed this during her last months on earth. It's eerie but it's sweet at the same time. RIP Aaliyah
This was so beautiful to watch.
Rest in paradise Aaliyah and everyone that was with her that day ❣️
She was so fucking pretty, she was gorgeous, she has a charm. She was naturally beautiful, there were no surgeries, Botox, fillers, filters or photoshop, these were real artists, real famous people and real talented people.
Surgeries existed then. You must be really young
@@misstina1986 they did exist, but she didn’t have any, she had a natural beauty
@@johanacastillo6024 I didn't say she didn't. But you stated there were no surgeries back then, and that is not true
@@misstina1986 I know there were surgeries. I’m referring to her, not that it wasn’t any
she was so happy the last couple days of her life and that makes me happy knowing she was having the time of her life.
She was such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I’m glad she had the time of her life before she passed
