honestly in a sims community of repetitive build videos and uninspired content i rlly rlly appreciate the time and creativity you’ve put into this challenge 😭💕💕
Hi! Love this idea. Maybe you can build a fence around each person’s money making thing (like the woodworking table) and lock the gate, so no one else can use it.
This would then allow you to set each of those fenced areas as residential rental units (if you have For Rent installed), correct? If so, that would be such a great idea!!
I love this challenge. In a city not far from me they bulldozed an office complex and split the land into tiny plots for people to build their own houses, in the contract they had to be eco houses and built by the person/people who would live there. It turnt into a wonderful community, some people built hot tubs in the gardens and they’d have community BBQ’s once a month during summer. All the children played together and it made a tranquil oasis in the middle of a busy city and even improved the air quality in the area. It would have been nice if they did it again but the council/government lost money on it
What a fresh new challenge! I loved that you adressed players that do not have every pack^^ It underlines the fact that many challenges can be basegame with a few little tweeks and tricks, and personalisation.
Aha ! In my gemology testplay i also had a sad welcome wagon containing 1 person without a fruitcake. Fun idea, Deli. And everything looks better in Henford-on-Bagley.
I just want to congratulate you for always having such fun and smart ideas! You are the powerhouse of interesting TS4 series! I still find myself rewatching your old Orphanage and Hampton Falls series. take care Deli x :)
You already did a lovely job setting this up and i bet it's going to keep getting better. One thing to add though - this has a huge replayability potential! You can do another round with different skills and/or colours or even with each home being a different occult type... There are so many possible combinations to make this idea last and keep being fun. There could also be a really goofy version of this? [*cough cough> Gluon *cough*] I'm always sad I don't get to see/use all those cstumes that came with various packs (like the gnome from seasons etc.) because the game doesn't consider them as wearable costume for holidays. There could be a sim in the bunny costume making money exclusively by carrots, a clown telling jokes for money, a hotdog sim selling hotdogs only, a pirate fishing or stealing perhaps? Of coors in that case if would be more of a "Goof town"
Would love to see a Gluon multiplayer goofy version of this too! That would be so fun to watch 🤣 Seeing James as a pirate having to solely rely on fishing for money, I think we'd finally find out if fishing is fun 🤪
I downloaded the lot immediately 😊 I'm just getting back to playing and wanted to try the new pack. I used the name wheel thingy and got Opal, lucky! I'm having so much fun so far and I think having Opal as the starter sim may be the best because her crystals will affect everyone. But right now, she has to sell everything she makes because my girl has to eat 😂 One thing though, the boxes were empty. Not a big deal for me because I placed the lot in Windenburg and there a lot of collectibles and gems that spawned in the area, but I think a list of what's inside the boxes might be helpful.
I just came here to check comments, as I noticed all the boxes were empty too. I thought it might just be my game but glad to know I'm not the only one. I did type: testingcheats, bb.moveobjects on, bb.showhiddenobjects & bb.showliveeditobjects before I placed the lot from my library. Not sure why the objects in the boxes disappeared but like you said, it's not that big of a deal. Just curious.
I was on the hunt for a new sims challenge as I was starting to get bored with my current saves. You have made me excited to play sims again. Thank you Deli!!!❤
Omg !!! The perfect medium length challenge 😍🥰 I'm all about the grind and even though I love more story based challenges and have made one like that myself too, sometimes I just wanna play something like this that has lots of goals and things we need to work for and do. Such creative idea 🥰
I LOVE this idea! It's given me a way to (finally) use the Von-Windenburg Estate lot for something fun. I rolled fishing for my first moneymaking skill and all Sim 1 has is a tent, a pee bush, a lil pub on the Mid Nowhere lot, and her trusty fishing rod. So excited to play my version along with yours. Thank you!
I love this Deli! I downloaded and started playing right away. I got Azure first too and in one session of playing got her house built! So much fun. Thank you for this new challenge to play.
This is so cool! Really enjoying the start of this, and looking forward to more of it! For a suggestion, maybe for anyone else doing it?, I think it might be better to hide the starting items for each Sim in an inaccessible basement room for each, so that other Sims can't use the wrong crafting table and such. Even a 1x1 room each would be sufficient with moveobjects to hide the storage box and craft tables. For those with For Rent, hidden rooms would also let you designate "apartments" so that you could start with each Sim for the challenge already placed. Just make sure Neighborhood Stories is off for them! (And probably aging.)
I have just placed fences around each area so they are not accessible at all, then put a door when I move a sim in so the can only get into their lot; saves you having to move objects around :)
I’m so excited to hear the rules! I’d love to see them thriving in their own little community, where the cook makes food for them to eat communally, someone grows plants for herbal remedies and food, the handyman fixes everyone’s stuff…barter system over simoleons??
I AM really loving this challenge - other than the glitches from Sims..... I just added my 4th person to my group.... Had to figure out what to do for Beatrice with cooking all that food and not earning any money. So trying to get Home Chef Hustle to load - keeps saying "finalizing".... I had Cyprus and Opal get married..... Since I don't have Jewelry making, I had her write books. Also realized to make candles - you have to have the replicator.... Right now, I am having Cyprus build all the furniture for everyone, plus selling statues on plopsy to make money. I did get a mod, so that I can make more different types of furniture. A lot more fun, than I have had in a long time....
I always love build challenges combined with gameplay, as a builder first player second it really makes me explore the game more. can't wait to try this!
Re: the 1-sim Welcome Wagon. Only sims who live in the active neighbourhood/zone will come. The only other household in that neighbourhood by default is the Watsons, and I believe you evicted them to use their lot as it's the biggest one in Henford-on-Bagley.
I love that you have Sims 1 Build and Buy music in your game, what a throwback. Really cool challenge - I only play Sims 2 but this gets me tempted to try TS4 again!
Ok I LOVE this, I also love that if having that many sims is overwhelming, and you have for rent, as you go you can add on the other tiny homes as rentals, and I also only now realized a large lot of tiny home rentals was even an option
Oh my gosh what a fun and unique challenge!!! I’ve been playing Sims since the first base game almost 25 years ago and this is the first time a challenge has piqued my interest! Can’t wait to see how the us plays out and to try it on my own game! So fun and creative!
Cute challenge. I usually suck at doing challenges but I might try to do this one. But I’ll watch a few more episodes to make sure that I understand everything.
OMG i've done this! i built a lil tudor village in windenburg, made it an apartment complex with a market plaza and everything! ona 20x20, each two floor tiny home was a micro home sized micro apartment!
so funnnnn!!!!! this challenge you wrote is so good, and it's easy to expand if we don't want it to be done by the end of the 7th person, thank you so much
What a creative challenge! I’m a pretty new player and this actually feels doable and so fun to build up a community of fun and unique sims. Thank you so much for this!
Oooh this seems pretty cool! I think i'd use ForRent and separate the 'plots' with some invisible/subtle fencing then each sim as they move in will be an individual household with their own funds! But YES love this! 😁
I've been loving this challenge myself; I started with Beatrice Jam and it was such a struggle to earn money with cooking/baking- but I love it!. I found a regular selling table was much easier to use then the home chef hustle one
I haven't played sims in quite a while because I got a bit burnt out playing too much, but this video has made me want to jump right back in and try this challenge! Thanks Deli!! ❤
This is so freaking cool! This is also basically my life dream - to live on a big block with a handful of likeminded people in little houses, and pursue our goals and passions! I really want to do this challenge!
Deli............ this is literally what I was trying to do the other day!!!!!! I was bored of the sims (again) and wanted a new challenge that was based on the other games I was currently playing. Thanks for making this easy for me lol. I'll try this challenge.
I just watched your challenge and I love it. It’s like a bunch of tiny rags to riches shoved together without having to get to the riches point just to when they can live comfortably and happily I love it
This is a lovely and unique challenge a different spin on RTR and love the lore of the characters. Think I will have to try this out my daughter my like this too.
Okay I am instantly obsessed with this series!! What a super creative challenge, I can't wait to see how the tiny town gets built up and what tea happens between the villagers! I really want to try it myself 💚
this is cute! i've always liked the idea of making little neighborhoods; the for rent pack was basically a dream come true for me. i can't wait to see how azure's house turns out!
this is the first challenge in a lonnnnnnnnng time that's making me actually want to pick up the sims again. so excited to start my tiny town!! I think it would be really fun for you to keep adding new characters -- maybe a challenge lot where we're building mini community lots? Such fun…love a good rags to riches and we’ll get a bunch in this LP 😃😃💛💛. Off to a fine start Deli! In answer to your painting question, the paintings that sell for the most money are relative to your painting skill. So when you’re in the first few stages of painting skill, classical paintings sell for the most, but when you get to level 10 abstracts do sell for a lot. Such an amazing idea! Can’t wait to see how this challenge evolves and I would love for other simmers to try it out as well! Maybe James could do it after he completed the sims 24 challenge!
Okay, this challenge is really creative and unique. I am invested! ❤ Can’t wait to see all the different styles of tiny homes come together with Deli’s awesome building skills too!
This is like the perfect mix of rags to riches and storytelling! Love it!
this is such a creative challenge!! you can tell how much effort deli has put into this! cant wait to play sims now
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
lol how can it be creative a painter paints , oh well i guess dat money do
@@DavidVentersbro what😂😂
I agree! Love this Deli! Hope you are well!
honestly in a sims community of repetitive build videos and uninspired content i rlly rlly appreciate the time and creativity you’ve put into this challenge 😭💕💕
Glad you like it!
Hi! Love this idea. Maybe you can build a fence around each person’s money making thing (like the woodworking table) and lock the gate, so no one else can use it.
Oooh, that makes it more game-like too!
This would then allow you to set each of those fenced areas as residential rental units (if you have For Rent installed), correct? If so, that would be such a great idea!!
I love how supportive you and James are of each other, and the way you talk about each other in videos is so sweet
It’s very easy when it’s James 😀❤️
Going INSIDE the museum to sell your artwork is crazy 😂
The AUDACITY
This is such a fun idea! I’m so excited to try it! 🤩🤩🤩
Yes very fun idea
Totally trying it later today!!! ✨✨
It would have been nice if they did it again but the council/government lost money on it
Oh wow, that’s so cool!
What a fresh new challenge! I loved that you adressed players that do not have every pack^^ It underlines the fact that many challenges can be basegame with a few little tweeks and tricks, and personalisation.
For sure :)
I’m OBSESSED with this challenge! I can’t wait to see more!
Aha ! In my gemology testplay i also had a sad welcome wagon containing 1 person without a fruitcake.
Fun idea, Deli. And everything looks better in Henford-on-Bagley.
I think it depends on the mini neighborhood. If there is just one other sim just this sim will show up.
DELI! This is absolutely amazing! You really outdid yourself with this one. Plus it's not just the rules/guidelines, you provided the set up! Bravo.
I've missed your challenges and let's plays so much Deli! Glad you are back 💖✨
Hope you enjoy!
I just want to congratulate you for always having such fun and smart ideas! You are the powerhouse of interesting TS4 series! I still find myself rewatching your old Orphanage and Hampton Falls series. take care Deli x :)
The orphanage let's play is my favourite!
Deli: *creates entire sims challenge*
The Sims: here’s some lessons to learn how to play
😂😂😂

same for me, empty boxes. I improvised and got the items needed and played away.
Ah bummer. I uploaded to gallery with all the boxes full :( I guess the gallery doesn’t support that so I’ll make a list of what to include!
Oh Deli, this is fantastic!!!!! What a great challenge!!!
I was on the hunt for a new sims challenge as I was starting to get bored with my current saves. You have made me excited to play sims again. Thank you Deli!!!❤

I have never watched any of your video but this popped up on my fy and i just wanted to say THIS IS SUVH A COOL IDEA I DEFINITELY NEED TO TRY THIS 💓
I just now made charcter descriptions for 6 sims 🥳 ( Liz Evergreen, Nolan Barry-Winters, Ezra Chevalier, Cecile Bennet, Gem Summers and Aella Quesada)
Btw their colours are Red, Orange, Dark Blue, Dark Red, Lilac and Yellow
this is how i love to play the sims, with love and peace and quiet! so happy to see you make this cute style into a series
i’m sooo happy that i waited to watch these!! i’m about to binge :))
I love the starting lot! It reminds me of so many town-building games and makes the gameplay feel fresh and different
I love this Deli! I downloaded and started playing right away. I got Azure first too and in one session of playing got her house built! So much fun. Thank you for this new challenge to play.
This takes me back to the city builder challenges in Sim2 & 3. Looking forward to watching these. :)
I am actually really excited to try this and, of course, watch your let's play! You're one of my favorite Sims 4 LP creators!
Yay, thank you!
This is so cool! Really enjoying the start of this, and looking forward to more of it!

I have been feeling a bit of a lull playing the sims lately but this has made me look forward to it sooo much more again THANKYOU

i actually love this! sort of like levels to play through. if one family gets “boring” move on to the next!
I recently got back playing Sims and got For Rent, can't wait to try out this challenge, this is just so perfect, thank you!
this is the perfect challenge for those of us who get bored at the first generation/sim! you can just 'complete' and move on to the next storyline
Re: the 1-sim Welcome Wagon. Only sims who live in the active neighbourhood/zone will come. The only other household in that neighbourhood by default is the Watsons, and I believe you evicted them to use their lot as it's the biggest one in Henford-on-Bagley.
I'm glad painting came out first since its easy to make money with it! Love the challenge!!
Me too!! Started easy haha
I love this challenge. I hope to see more episodes. It looks like something I may try. Thanks fir the idea Deli.
I love that you have Sims 1 Build and Buy music in your game, what a throwback. Really cool challenge - I only play Sims 2 but this gets me tempted to try TS4 again!
I've been playing sims since 2002 and this is the challange I didn't know I was looking for the whole time ❤
Ok I LOVE this, I also love that if having that many sims is overwhelming, and you have for rent, as you go you can add on the other tiny homes as rentals, and I also only now realized a large lot of tiny home rentals was even an option
your commentary is so detailed and calming. It’s so refreshing.❤❤❤
Been waiting for you to introduce this challenge ever since I saw it up on the gallery ~ so excited for thiiis
Definitely doing this!
Oh i love this! Havent played Sims since horse ranch came out and i really want to do this
Oh my gosh what a fun and unique challenge!!!

But I’ll watch a few more episodes to make sure that I understand everything.
this looks like it's going to be a lot of fun,
This is so creative & thought out
Absolutely love this ❤ so much gameplay coming all our ways from this deli!
OMG i've done this! i built a lil tudor village in windenburg, made it an apartment complex with a market plaza and everything! ona 20x20, each two floor tiny home was a micro home sized micro apartment!
so funnnnn!!!!! this challenge you wrote is so good, and it's easy to expand if we don't want it to be done by the end of the 7th person, thank you so much
ngl i haven't played The Sims in months and this challenge makes me want to get back into playing it
This challenge looks like fun. I love how you are playing through it first. Can't wait to play it myself. ♥
This looks so fun!! Please upload another part. Your storytelling and thought you put into your videos is unmatched❤
Hurry up I NEED THE NEXT VIDEO!!❤❤❤❤
this is so cool! love this type of content! excited to see how the challenge progresses
I love this so much. I was just thinking of making something like this in Windenburg on the 64x64 lot.
What a creative challenge! I’m a pretty new player and this actually feels doable and so fun to build up a community of fun and unique sims. Thank you so much for this!
I absolutely love this idea, Deli, would love to try it xoxox
Oooh this seems pretty cool! I think i'd use ForRent and separate the 'plots' with some invisible/subtle fencing then each sim as they move in will be an individual household with their own funds! But YES love this! 😁
perfect challenge for sims who like gameplay/storytelling and building i liveee
I've been loving this challenge myself; I started with Beatrice Jam and it was such a struggle to earn money with cooking/baking- but I love it!. I found a regular selling table was much easier to use then the home chef hustle one
This is sorta what I do with my towns to create versatility. I've just never put them all in one lot before! What a cool Idea!
Deli! I am LIVING for the Sims 1 music 🎶 ❤ I am so excited to get done with work today and start this challenge!
Deli............ this is literally what I was trying to do the other day!!!!!! I was bored of the sims (again) and wanted a new challenge that was based on the other games I was currently playing. Thanks for making this easy for me lol. I'll try this challenge.
Wait! Could you do this kind of challenge with the ococcult sims? 😮 Imagine a vampire, wizard, alien, and werewolf living on the same lot like this!😂
For sure!
Deli is back and better then ever!! So excited for this series you can see how much effort and though has gone into this! ❤
I just watched your challenge and I love it. It’s like a bunch of tiny rags to riches shoved together without having to get to the riches point just to when they can live comfortably and happily I love it
this is such a brilliant challenge idea! and so many variants + options for drama omg
I am so excited to try this new challenge. The Hemford on Bagley lot one of my favorites. I also love the new wallpapers.
This is a lovely and unique challenge a different spin on RTR and love the lore of the characters. Think I will have to try this out my daughter my like this too.
i've yet to play sims yet in 2024 and this just made me want to finally play lol love this
Rewatching AGAIN cuz this is my comfort series right now!
Okay I am instantly obsessed with this series!! What a super creative challenge, I can't wait to see how the tiny town gets built up and what tea happens between the villagers! I really want to try it myself 💚
I don't watch much Sims content anymore, but I'm LIVING for this! Can't wait to see more parts!
This looks really cute. I'm a single-Sim-no-kids player and this is right up my alley! Can't wait to do this!
this is cute! i've always liked the idea of making little neighborhoods; the for rent pack was basically a dream come true for me. i can't wait to see how azure's house turns out!
NEW SERIES TO BE EXCITED FOR SLAYY
Just hearing of your challenge through kelsey - such a cool idea! Looking forward to see how it plays out ❤ Thank you for your creation!
this is the first challenge in a lonnnnnnnnng time that's making me actually want to pick up the sims again. so excited to start my tiny town!! I think it would be really fun for you to keep adding new characters -- maybe a challenge lot where we're building mini community lots? We could make teeny tiny shops (with space for the shopkeeper to live, kind of like the stardew valley shops!). There could also be a tiny museum for collectables!
I'm so behind on this but I love this challenge idea! A building challenge is exactly my jam. I'll definitely be playing this!
I’m wondering what marks each person as finished? Home done, of course, but maybe another thing to make it more challenging? Like home decorated, landscaped, have 5 friends and some baseline of money?
Just thinking of how I would play the challenge myself so it didn’t go too quickly

This is such a cool challenge. Cant wait to see the first home all done. The community is gonna be so cute when all finished
Seems like a fun, interesting and potentially stressful let's play but I'm for it. I'm loving this so far.
Such an amazing idea! Can’t wait to see how this challenge evolves and I would love for other simmers to try it out as well! Maybe James could do it after he completed the sims 24 challenge!
This challenge is a amazing idea!
So happy to have a series and challenge. It sounds so fun. I might try this out!
Okay, this challenge is really creative and unique. I am invested! ❤ Can’t wait to see all the different styles of tiny homes come together with Deli’s awesome building skills too!
attempting this challenge myself now! Was falling into a rut with gameplay and this makes it exciting all over again! Great challenge Deli
I started this last night! Really enjoying it. The lot that you build a love and I’m going to be keeping that for other things!
OMG a new very exciting lets' play. Can't wait for the next part!!!
I’m loving this already! Azure is so cute!
Hey Deli! This series is so much fun and refreshing! Rewatching because this truly brings me back to wanting to play the game again ❤
This looks so fun! Its been a while since I've seen a challenge thats sparks my interest. Thanks Deli!
Oooh so excited to watch this!!! Love you Deli! 🩷
