Originally a hardline Hanafi, I became Shia more than 30 years ago reading Bukhari and Muslim. The main turning point was when I studied about Abu Talib (as) in these books, it became apparent when I realised all the lies and contradictions regarding Abu Talib (as). In the house of Abu Talib, Nubuwa and Imamah were nurtured. Abu Talib sacrificed his life and all his wealth for the sake of Nubuwah, all his children were sacrificed for Islam but they accuse Abu Talib of kufr and hellfire; they elevate the position of his enemies to the highest ranks in paradise. Bukhari and Muslim and the other books expose hypocrisy and guide the true seekers of siratul mustakeem away from the those who are cursed.
@Under young Shia women’s bare feet Inshallah Ameen In order to determine whether it is necessary to be in taqiyya you have to ask yourself 'Do you live in a country or environment where you believe your life or wellbeing will be at risk because of your beliefs'? As far as marriage is concerned you have to be truthful from the beginning, there can't be false pretences in a healthy marriage. Marriage is very complex due to family and social pressures as well as compatibility between spouses not to ignore expectations in society and other factors. So when we marry we must try to minimise these as much as possible and make the marriage as clear and seamless as possible otherwise we may put so much strain on this union that it inevitably gets broken. When you have children this strain will multiply many times over. Do clarify this matter it is better for you to speak with a sheikh or scholar who can explain the fiqh regarding the 2 dilemmas 1. Taqiiyya from family 2. Marriage. I hope this is helpful for you. Fiamn'illah
@Under young Shia women’s bare feet Inshallah Ameen It is an interesting dilemma but if your family found out & shunned you. Then it will be you who would need to be an ever better son to them to show them the positive effect of becoming a Shia. Views might differ between scholars if you have to tell. But one thing I am sure of is that don't marry a hater of the ahlulbayt under any condition it will affect your children. If you have to marry a Sunni and she has ignorance that is one thing but avoid one who has hatred of ahlulbayt at all costs. That shouldn't be too hard you hear plenty of Sunni say they love ahlulbayt. I actually know a Sunni to Shia revert who intentional doesn't tell Sunnis he is a Shia. Say it weakens his dawah to them

@saturnalia2567 I am from Pakistan. I was born into a conservative Sunni family. After my divorce, I was led to Maula(AS). It was an adjustment phase for my family but my Love for Maula is greater than my parents. I was called names for association with Shiism. My ex husband made a joke of my faith in the courts calling me a Blackmagic doer witch. But I had witnessed miracles. When I converted to Shiism, it was like I came home. There has been no looking back. I feel the energy of Masoomeens around me all the time.
Even though I have nothing to do with Islam, I kinda feel Shias is much more open to debate (civilized & non-violent one) & critical discourse on all sensitive topics. This freedom of thought & speech is the greatest strength of Shiasm. Sunnis are good at using coercive & co-optive measures to proselytize & at times they use outright violence.

I've had really excellent and enlightening conversations with Christians and Atheists about our respective beliefs. Christians especially. I and many of our Shia scholars are willing to critically and intellectually engage with Christian ideas such as the Trinity and Divinity of Christ in a way where we can emphasize our disagreement while still being respectful of these beliefs and actually being open to understanding the logical premises of these beliefs. You try to explain the Trinity to a Sunni, and he'll whip his sword out and try to sever your head or start throwing insults at you. We can entertain a thought without accepting it.

Shias in prison are a HUGE Minority! I'm happy this topic was brought up. Especially going to prison in the states and being shia your a underdog. Shias need to do more in prisons by spreading the message of ahuyl al bait in prisons. Most people converting in prisons are not becoming shia, part of that has to do with the small amount of shias on prison.
Has a lot to do with every book is salafi or Wahhabi garbage in prison,.. then they ,. Also will wonder why people leave the prisons extremists,. You are right tho prisoners I think I bet cuz they have the actual time to read books would resonate with the Shia argument,.
@heavy H you're just dumb, a brother being imprisoned is funny to you? I'm sunni and i respect and wish the best to both, i've never met a brother and asked if he's shia or suni, doesn't make a difference to me, Allah judges not me, you're a clown.
You’re upset that you don’t have shia criminals in prisons? Haha why don’t you and your friends go out and commit crimes so that you can go to prison and spread your message.
A very inspiring story. It reinforces one's faith in the infinite mercy and guidance of Allah. Mr. Talib, you made the most beautiful use of your time in prison - seeking knowledge of the Quran and the Ahlulbait (a.s) and using it towards self-improvement. Your pursuits in prison were more worthy than so many of ours, living as free individuals on this earth. What a prosperous life you've had so far!- may Allah continue to shower his mercy on you. Ali ibn Abu Talib is greater than and better than all the companions put together. His virtues are greater than all others, his wisdom, his justice, his courage and his patience cannot be seen in any others in history for the the Holy Prophet was his master and teacher as well his mother and father from his early infancy. The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said, “The position of Ali (A.S) amongst the people is like Surat Qul Hu Allahu Ahad in the Qur’an.” Muslim, 1/48; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Al-Nisa’i, 27; Musnad Ahmad, 6/299; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 191.
The Qur'an doesn't say follow Abu Bakr, Omar or Uthman either! We have to approach the Sunnis emotionally as logic doesn't fall on their minds very easily. I would focus on one of the first Shia Muslims which shatters the Ibn Sabah myth, Muhammad the son of Abu Bakr [r] who was a staunch follower of Imam Ali [s] and rejected his own father, and also his sister Aisha. He wanted to kill his sister in the Battle of Jamal but Imam Ali [s] stopped him. He later became the governor of Egypt and ironically, the Sunnis kills Muhammad son of Abu Bakr but they don't want to talk about it. They just say, it was history and there were some disagreements. Tens of Ahlulbayt and Sahabas like Abu Dhar were murdered this way along with their innocent families, how can they say it was minor?

As salaamu alaiykum to all the brothers and sisters and the Sayeed. I did 12 years of prison in California in the United States. I took my Shehaddah in prison February 2011. I started to follow the Ahlul Bayt A.S. In 2019 there are a lot of Shia Muslims in California prisons. I became Shia because of the Chaplain Muhammad Ali, Shaykh Taribu(Who was one of the 1st African American Shia’s in California prisons) and a few others. We are few but we are strong and not afraid to say who we follow. We have been attacked and even snitched on by some of our misguided brothers. But we hold to the spirit of the Ahlul Bayt. I’ve watched some of the lectures of the Sayyed and they are 😎😎💪🏾💪🏾🔥🫡🫡
Wa alaykumu salaam akhi. Shaykh Taribu and brother Muhammad Ali were huge help in the pen. And at that time there were 14 Shias in one yard, don't know about the other yards.
From day one I approached this mans work as a newly enrolled student and made sure that my approach was from a very reasonable and rational standpoint. His findings are presented in a very clear, concise and professional manner. I believe we are all victims of bias to some extent and that such biases can inadvertently spill over, tainting an outcome. He does well to separate the two... I'm incredibly glad to have stumbled across Mr Nakshawani. I funnily enough learnt more from him regarding certain details of Sunnism than I would have listening to an actual Sunni. He certainly knows his stuff or should I say, others stuff 👍

@rafidashiamuslim So just by loving prophet and ahlul bayt does it make u a better human being??? I know they would have disassociated themselves from the ghulats of today as they would have been ashamed how people who call themselves their followers have invented false stories attributing to them. They did the same to their so called followers during their time as well. By the Grace of God Islam is the fastest growing religion despite Hazrat Ali not being the first caliph. The ishnashari shias are only 10-15 percents of the total Muslims. The Ismaili shias are 10% of the main shias. Yet the Ismalies are the most progressive of all the muslims. They have no hang up trying to prove anything. They respect all the caliphs even though they are shia of Ali. Their imam is still alive and guides them in a very progressive way/worldview. They don’t have mullas sitting on the pulpit creating fitna. They only give speeches that are uplifting and spiritual.
@Rafida Shia Muslim I think you missed my point the reason I said that because some Sunnis not all claim that loving another divine as much as Allah(SWT) is shirk so you fall in the trap of a Kafir
I am new to shia islam and was raised a sunni. I found haq in sayed ammar and other shia scholars lectures and decided ahlul bayt is the path i want to follow. However my name is Omer and i know the stigma behind my name, my question is do i have to change my name to be accepted by the shia community? I know my name is looked down upon in the shia community.
My grandfather was a Shia scholar in south morocco and one of his sons got the name of Omar, it is an Arabic name which existed before and after Omar ibn Al khattab. My grandfather would clearly say that Abu bakr and omar should not have been followed, but that is disconnected from the name of my uncle. I think that you should raise your level of thinking higher than the mainstream Shia who themselves have not read anything of the books of Ali (as). It is not Shia to hate a name, it is Shia to hate the persons who hated the prophet and his ahl ul bait. Do not waste your energy and thinking about these low level details. You would almost ressemble salafi who argue on the lowest level about the length of their trousers, forbidden perfumes, wild grown beards and hair, the color of ladies clothing etc etc.
Yeah omar didn’t own the name,. People will most likely make the connection that,. You left the sect of your community,. And decided to be a social outcast,. For love of Ahlul Bayt (as) and they should give you the same respect they give the black turbans,. 😇 just keep in mind most people are people and have many a much failings and ignorance and arrogance,.
The best way is leave your name as it is, If you feel happy than thats all that matters.. It just gives hope to any other sect of Islam that a sunni named omar has found truth, and the name like mentioned its used before omar ibn ghaytab so dont stress champ, Head up , may Allah bless you always
This is so true, we are in need of workshops that instill values in young shias...who are we, what do we believe in. The way they train us at work for 3 days 5 days. @@rani1835 The shia school have cited examples of Hazrat Ali as being the rightful 1st Caliph and that it is linked with belief, otherwise Islam would be incomplete. An important point to consider is the role of Hazrat Ali during the 1st three Caliphates. Why didn’t he fight for what would be considered to be a divine right, for his Caliphate? The explanation is given that Hazrat Ali wanted to protect the Islamic State from disintegration. “..still he did not fight because he preferred the peace of the nation, safety of the state and security of faith to his own good. He overlooked the immediate and set his eyes on the ultimate…” So according to shia thought, Hazrat Ali’s pressing engagement was the protection of the Ummah from insurgencies and the caliphate issue was not important enough to merit a war. Farhad Amirebrahimi, wrote a booklet entitled, ‘Up from Shiaism’. It gives a concise but precise overview of the shia school, to which he belonged to before embracing the sunni school. Farhad asked a very simple question regarding Hazrat Ali’s refusal to fight for his divine right of leadership, “Was Ali violating the Prophet’s commands?” If the shias assertion is true that the completion of Islam was dependent on Ali being the first Caliph, then it implies that Hazrat Ali was violating the Prophet’s command (aoozobillah). Not only that, given that the Quranic verse on the completion of Islam was revealed at Ghadir-e-Khum (according to shias) then it was Allah’s command for Hazrat Ali to be the rightful successor. This questions the integrity of: 1)- Hazrat Ali - his refusal to fight for the caliphate was in violation of the Prophet ( aoozobillah) and also in violation of Allah’s commands( aoozobillah). But ALL Muslims believe Hazrat Ali is the Lion of Allah…who fought in many battles, would NEVER willingly violate the Prophet’s commands and would NEVER violate Allah’s commands 2)- Muhammad - if Hazrat Ali did not obey the Prophet it questions the success of the Prophet’s mission in training his Companions in fighting for Islam and spreading its message. 3)- Allah (SWT) - if Hazrat Ali exercised his own judgement over Allah’s it implies that Allah did not complete his religion of Islam,( aoozobillah) since it’s completion is dependent on Hazrat Ali’s caliphate. Muhammad’s mission was successful and that Allah (SWT) fulfilled His promise of Islam being complete. In other words, Hazrat Ali did not consider the Caliphate to be a divine right neither did the Companions, and that the first three Caliphs were legitimate and not usurpers nor unbelievers nor hypocrites.
I think that all religions or schools of thought are like cities, and nobody can force you to know cities but it has to be voluntarily, therefore I believe that debating is rarely fruitful because the other person does not know your city *school of thought. .. and even if you explain the principles of your city (Religion) in a debate or conversation, he will not understand it until he decides to get to know the city on his own .... by the way, I am a revert to Islam

Im exShia, and Sunni but im srill working my way through both sides of the debate. As a Shia I was unable to epistemologically defend various positions Shias have on various things as well as Shia hadith itself, so i conceded to Sunnism. However even from the Sunni position i still find issues that i am working through and i concede that certain matters arent as clear cut as my Sunni brothers make it out to be, such as the Battle of Jamel and Karbala In terms of Aqeedah though i still see more evidence to Sunni than Shia. However in matters of Fiqh, there is the fact that Ja'far al-Sadiq formed the first madhhab and was a teacher of Imam Malik and Imam Hanifa. So in some of these matters I almost have tendencies resembling the Ibadhis but they are a fringe of a fringe and I would never syncretize my views. I am a Sunni with complications that I am working out, but if I came to see more evidence for Shi'ism again then I'd commit to it again and drop Sunnism. There are allusions in the Qur'an (and Bible too) when it comes to successorship through family but i dont see anything clear on either side for how thr Holy Prophet (A.S.) is to be succeeded according to the Qur'an. In Sahih Hadith there is the one about 12 rulers from the Quraysh and the one of the Prophet (A.S.) calling Ali "to me like Aaron was to Moses, except there is no Prophet after me". Ones like that I am also still indecisive between both Sunni and Shia interpretations of them.
You are in a strange place Where do you get your evidence Shia and sunni sources Or just sunni Do you know arabic If you do search شيخ القريشي Do you know the hadiths in Sahih Muslim and bukhari where it ruins the honor of the prophet Sahih Muslim Hudhaifa reported: I was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he came to the dumping ground of filth belonging to a particular tribe. He urinated while standing, and I went aside. He (the Holy Prophet) asked me to come near him and I went so near to him that I stood behind his heels. He then performed ablution and wiped over his socks. In sunni sources the prophet is portrayed in this way Urinating while standing in front of people Sahih Muslim Wasi' b. Habban reported: I was offering my prayer in the mosque and Abdullah b. Umar was sitting there reclining with his back towards the Qibla. After completing my prayer. I went to him from one side. Abdullah said: People say when you go to the latrine, you should neither turn your face towards the Qibla nor towards Bait-ul-Maqdis. 'Abdullah said (farther): I went up to the roof of the house and saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) squatting on two bricks for relieving himself with his face towards Bait-al-Maqdis. In the shia faith Quran chapter 33:33 Allah purified the ahulbayt Do you want ti believe the sunni version of the prophet where he urinates in front of the sahaba Or the shia version where he is absolutely purified and infallible In behar alanwar Jaber asked the prophet peace be upon him and his holy progeny What is the first thing allah created The prophet replied The light of your prophet O Jaber Allah created it than he created everything that is good from it As shia we are proud of our prophet Would you be ok with the sunni version Imagine if an atheist took it and made a video or drew a picture about it The sahaba including omar stopped the prophet from writing his will Sahih bukhari Ibn `Abbas said, "When the ailment of the Prophet (ﷺ) became worse, he said, 'Bring for me (writing) paper and I will write for you a statement after which you will not go astray.' But `Umar said, 'The Prophet is seriously ill, and we have got Allah's Book with us and that is sufficient for us.' But the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) differed about this and there was a hue and cry. On that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to them, 'Go away (and leave me alone). It is not right that you should quarrel in front of me." Ibn `Abbas came out saying, "It was most unfortunate (a great disaster) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise. (Note: It is apparent from this Hadith that Ibn `Abbas had witnessed the event and came out saying this statement. The truth is not so, for Ibn `Abbas used to say this statement on narrating the Hadith and he had not witnessed the event personally In Sunni sources the will is unknown However in shia sources Book salim bin qas al helali Which is the oldest history book older than any shia or sunni book The prophet peace be upon him and his family Wanted to write the names of the 12 after him In shia sources there are 1000s of Hadiths that mention the names of the 12

Oh really Ammar ? So I’m assuming you’ve completely ignored this back breaker hadith from Ali (ra) in Sahih Buhkari that absolutely dismantles the Shia pagan religion. Absolute back breaker to the Shia religion from Ali (ra) own words Ghadeer khum apparently was when the prophet ﷺ appointed Ali (ra), it was not at all what they claim, devils how they superimpose their meanings on events. I just can’t understand how can a Muslim hate on prophet muhammad pbuh’s wife, companions and give ahlu albait a status more than allah have gave them (similar to what Christians made jesus to be "algholow”) Aisha was the prophet pbuh’s most beloved wife. Abu bakar literally was mentioned in the quran and he was one most crucial figures in history not just islam and why islam is big as its today and he was literally mentioned in the quran couple of times.
Do you understand why all Muslims hate the wives of Pro Nuh and the wife of Pro Lut? Aiasha was worst than them! Wouldn’t you hate your own mother if she goes round breastfeeding Adult men?Who told you she was prophet’s most beloved wife? Are you joking or you are trying to say my Pro was unjust. What had she done to gain that title. She was always lying ,about her age, then she did ghusal in front of men! She also mentioned her personal life in bed with the Pro.Not only Abubaker but even Aiasha and Afsa are mentioned in the Quran Allah has condemn ed them.Allah told Pro to ask Ali to sleep in his bed but never told to take Abubaker with him Abubaker himself joined and the Pro being humble couldn’t say no.In the cave Abubaker was crying and nearly put Pro in danger ! And Pro reminded Abubaker that Allah was with them! How can he be crucial figure? He made up Hadeese and lied saying that Pro told him the Pro don’t leave any inheritance,He also stole Fatema’s presant.Insteadof giving Khilafat to Imam Ali he gave it to UMAR.When he said The Pro didn’t choose anyone as a successor then why did he?He left the Pro alone during the warand ranaway .He was busy with Saqifa and didn’t offer namaz on Pro Zanaza. What crucial figure was he.Go and read İslim and Bukhari first

@Under young Shia women’s bare feet Inshallah Ameen There is no point of believing that twelve imam saved islam when sunni(different sect, madhab) scholars, leaders, warriors spreaded islam, conquered many lands for muslims. What shia did except one or two big dynasty and little more. Most of the people don't even know the twelve imams. How could you say they saved islam? What was the point of their being in this world? The shia and sunni clergies and “scholars “know VERY WELL that the hadiths that were written centuries after the death of the Prophet were written by fallible human beings and is not 💯 true…. even if the title given is Sahih. They did not have Xerox machines in those days. Every single copy was written by hand by human beings who over time added stuff to suit their own agenda to propogate shiaISM. It is like Chinese whisper when in the end it is far from the truth. The Shias mock and make fun of the revered personalities of the Sunnis and here is what the Quran has to say about them. The Quran says ” O you who believe! if an ungodly person comes to you with any news ascertain the truth lest you harm people unwittingly and afterwards become full of repentance for what you have done.” Surah Hujraat:6. “O believers, let no group make fun of another, for they may be better than them. Surah Hujraat :11
Did you come to watch a Shia video to mock Shia ? The Quran quote can work both ways. The Sunni’s mocking Shia’s the same Quran quote you stated applies.
@@EsTeFaNiA1029 I am not mocking but stating a fact. U have not read my comments well. Books like bukhari, muslim, kafi etc etc are all tampered with along the way by people with agenda. Yet the clergies and “scholars” keep quoting from it by cherries picking thngs written in it just to create contention. There are Ismaili Shias, Bora Shias, zaidi Shias etc. but u won’t find them talking anything on the pulpit that causes contention. It is only the 12ver shias who do it.
@@underyoungshiawomensbarefe3688 What good does jurisprudence do when it is misused and abused all the time esp. mutah. God is not so petty how people pray or do wuzu and such acts. He knows the sincerity in the hearts of the people in whatever way they pray. Maybe u don’t know the story of how our Prophet was walking with his companions when they saw a man praying in the distance. One of the companions was upset that the man was not saying his prayers the correct way and wanted to go and tell him. The Prophet stopped him and said “ do not do that, he is saying his prayers and that is enough!”
@@underyoungshiawomensbarefe3688 I am not a complete rejector of hadiths and used a hadith that made sense to me because that’s how I believe our Prophet was. I believe we need to be free thinkers. I have always been a critical thinker and could not accept the many hadiths that were said from the pulpit. Those hadiths are lies and invented by the ghulats in the name of the imams even during their lifetime. I have always believed that the imams were very pious, had super character, wisdom and knowledge. They followed in the footsteps of our Prophet who was sent to the world as Rahmatul Aalameen and who forgave even his bitterest of enemies. The Imams wanted their followers to be like them in their behavior and keep the unity of the ummah. They did not claim to have any super power and did not perform miracles or know the future. They NEVER told anyone that they could answer their prayers. NONE of the Imams ever prayed to anyone but directly to God. They were God centric. Get what I mean? And then there are fake hadiths attributed to the imams that they can answer prayers and then read doahs asking them for help!!! The Imams abhored that their followers of the time were making up false hadiths attributed to them that and called them ghuluw.
I believe temporary marriage is not a bad thing if done with good and sincere intention. But unfortunately this has not been the case. Go to visit some country and u will find “akhunds” offering women for temporary marriage even if it is for an hour or two. That I call misusing and a form of prostitution. This misuse was also done at the time of Hazrat Omar, that’s why he banned it. As for infallibility of the imams I do not think they would sin deliberately in any way. But they were human beings and may make mistakes but not commit major sins. God loves people who asks for sincere forgiveness and the imams did that. Shia Allama Majlisi quotes Shaheed al thani as saying: Most of the Shia narrators around the Imams didn’t believe in their infallibility but considered them pious scholars only, as is clear from Rijal Kashi, and still the Imams would declare them faithful and even trustworthy.
Fiamn'illah
@Under young Shia women’s bare feet Inshallah Ameen
It is an interesting dilemma but if your family found out & shunned you.

@saturnalia2567
I am from Pakistan.

The best way is leave your name as it is,
If you feel happy than thats all that matters..
It just gives hope to any other sect of Islam that a sunni named omar has found truth, and the name like mentioned its used before omar ibn ghaytab so dont stress champ,
Head up , may Allah bless you always
There should be no need whatsoever to change a name it should be a personal matter.

This is so true, we are in need of workshops that instill values in young shias...who are we, what do we believe in. The way they train us at work for 3 days 5 days. Shias need to go and learn Hadith, Quran and how do we defend ourselves. (Top 10 questions afters to Shia learn the answer, sources and defend)
Excellent points. We are in great need of this type of work ❤
@@rani1835 The shia school have cited examples of Hazrat Ali as being the rightful 1st Caliph and that it is linked with belief, otherwise Islam would be incomplete.
He overlooked the immediate and set his eyes on the ultimate…”
So according to shia thought, Hazrat Ali’s pressing engagement was the protection of the Ummah from insurgencies and the caliphate issue was not important enough to merit a war.
Farhad Amirebrahimi, wrote a booklet entitled, ‘Up from Shiaism’. It gives a concise but precise overview of the shia school, to which he belonged to before embracing the sunni school. Farhad asked a very simple question regarding Hazrat Ali’s refusal to fight for his divine right of leadership,
“Was Ali violating the Prophet’s commands?”
If the shias assertion is true that the completion of Islam was dependent on Ali being the first Caliph, then it implies that Hazrat Ali was violating the Prophet’s command (aoozobillah). Not only that, given that the Quranic verse on the completion of Islam was revealed at Ghadir-e-Khum (according to shias) then it was Allah’s command for Hazrat Ali to be the rightful successor. This questions the integrity of:
1)- Hazrat Ali - his refusal to fight for the caliphate was in violation of the Prophet ( aoozobillah) and also in violation of Allah’s commands( aoozobillah). But ALL Muslims believe Hazrat Ali is the Lion of Allah…who fought in many battles, would NEVER willingly violate the Prophet’s commands and would NEVER violate Allah’s commands
2)- Muhammad - if Hazrat Ali did not obey the Prophet it questions the success of the Prophet’s mission in training his Companions in fighting for Islam and spreading its message.
This might be true islam. Total wisdom n peace.
We need more of this
I think that all religions or schools of thought are like cities, and nobody can force you to know cities but it has to be voluntarily, therefore I believe that debating is rarely fruitful because the other person does not know your city *school of thought. .. and even if you explain the principles of your city (Religion) in a debate or conversation, he will not understand it until he decides to get to know the city on his own .... by the way, I am a revert to Islam

These unauthentic hadiths have caused a lot of damage to Islam. they have been a major reason of various misunderstandings in various matters of the religion over past many centuries, not to mention the fuel they provide to the enemies and haters of Islam to ridicule Islam.

Im exShia, and Sunni but im srill working my way through both sides of the debate.
As a Shia I was unable to epistemologically defend various positions Shias have on various things as well as Shia hadith itself, so i conceded to Sunnism.
However even from the Sunni position i still find issues that i am working through and i concede that certain matters arent as clear cut as my Sunni brothers make it out to be, such as the Battle of Jamel and Karbala
In terms of Aqeedah though i still see more evidence to Sunni than Shia.
You are in a strange place
Where do you get your evidence
Shia and sunni sources
Or just sunni
Do you know arabic
If you do search شيخ القريشي
Do you know the hadiths in Sahih Muslim and bukhari where it ruins the honor of the prophet
Sahih Muslim
Hudhaifa reported:
I was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he came to the dumping ground of filth belonging to a particular tribe. He urinated while standing, and I went aside. He (the Holy Prophet) asked me to come near him and I went so near to him that I stood behind his heels. He then performed ablution and wiped over his socks.
In sunni sources the prophet is portrayed in this way
Urinating while standing in front of people
Sahih Muslim
Wasi' b. Habban reported:
I was offering my prayer in the mosque and Abdullah b.

What is the first thing allah created
The prophet replied
The light of your prophet O Jaber
Allah created it than he created everything that is good from it
As shia we are proud of our prophet
Would you be ok with the sunni version
Imagine if an atheist took it and made a video or drew a picture about it
The sahaba including omar stopped the prophet from writing his will
Sahih bukhari
Ibn `Abbas said, "When the ailment of the Prophet (ﷺ) became worse, he said, 'Bring for me (writing) paper and I will write for you a statement after which you will not go astray.' But `Umar said, 'The Prophet is seriously ill, and we have got Allah's Book with us and that is sufficient for us.' But the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) differed about this and there was a hue and cry. The truth is not so, for Ibn `Abbas used to say this statement on narrating the Hadith and he had not witnessed the event personally
In Sunni sources the will is unknown
However in shia sources
Book salim bin qas al helali
Which is the oldest history book older than any shia or sunni book
The prophet peace be upon him and his family
Wanted to write the names of the 12 after him
In shia sources there are 1000s of Hadiths that mention the names of the 12

I dare you to interview Shia reformists on your podcast if you are that open minded
They also have to be worthy of taking their anonymous movement onto such a massive online platform lol

How does that point help your case in any way, instead of achieving the EXACT opposite, genius?
@@corpsefoot758 it does because he interviews nobodies on his podcast but he can’t interview anonymous Shia reformists who are actually disturbing the community? He’s not even willing to discuss with Sunnis bigger than him. He only selects strategically this coward

Mo Deen isn’t a “nobody”. Thanks for clarifying why we should ignore you
The shia and sunni clergies and “scholars “know VERY WELL that the hadiths that were written centuries after the death of the Prophet were written by fallible human beings and is not 💯 true…. even if the title given is Sahih. They did not have Xerox machines in those days. Every single copy was written by hand by human beings who over time added stuff to suit their own agenda to propogate shiaISM. It is like Chinese whisper when in the end it is far from the truth. The Shias mock and make fun of the revered personalities of the Sunnis
and here is what the Quran has to say about them.
I have always been a critical thinker and could not accept the many hadiths that were said from
the pulpit.
Shia Allama Majlisi quotes Shaheed al thani as saying:
Most of the Shia narrators around the Imams didn’t believe in their infallibility but considered them pious scholars only, as is clear from Rijal Kashi, and still the Imams would declare them faithful and even trustworthy. [Haqqul Yaqin, p. 544]

I may also refer to the verse of Holy Quran "21:73 and made them leaders who would guide [others] in accordance with Our behest: for We inspired them [with a will] to do good works, and to be constant in prayer, and to dispense charity: and Us [alone] did they worship."
