I love it Andy!!!! Love the fact the young family wants to be a dairy farmer!!!! People in this world have no DAMN idea what it takes to be a dairy farmer or a crop or vegetable farmer!!! I love it!!! By the way I have dairy farming in my blood!!! That's for the hater's!!!!
Andy you faith in the dairy industry and the future of agriculture is truly amazing, especially trying to do business in New York god bless you and your family as you expand your dairy farming operation
Sweet to see such improvements Andy. Glad to hear younger generation is willing to keep going with this operation! And that your kids and your brother kids find their love of life to make more workers!
Wow!!!! What an amazing operation!!!! I am thrilled to see farming survive in today's world. I really enjoy and appreciate the family all being involved in the operation and helping the operation grow. I have no idea, Andy, how you get time to do these UA-cam videos. But I enjoy and appreciate everyone of your videos. Keep up the great work!!!
Wonderful video Andy, great to see the drone shots with your explanation of how the farm has grown over the years. 👍 as a dairy farmer myself I know how important continuous development is .👍🏴
Great to see and hear the family business is set to expand for your kids and production. I'm proud to watch, and excited to more from the farm. God Bless you all
I'm in New Zealand. Our 64 cow rotary Platform just the but cows that spins weighs 60 ton. We don't have big cows like Andy. When its fully loaded with cows it's about 90t.
Paul Harvey - "So God Made A Farmer"... Many years later, Andy said "Hold my beer"! 😁 . Thanks Andy for all your great videos. If you decide to hold an Open House to tour your new parlor, I hope I get an invitation. Congratulations on your newest expansion and Thanks again for all your great videos!
Andy you never cease to amaze me. I still think you're The Jack of All Trades & The Master of None & pretty soon your kids will be The Jacks of All Trades & The Masters of None. I'm sure when you're gone that farm will be in good hands
Great to see the progression with the family on the farm, wow milking a couple thousand cows in a double 20 that’s crazy, The new rotary parlor will be a dream, are you guys going with milking from within the rotary or out, there’s advantages to outside with housing all components within the rotary as a semi basement, back in the eighties I milked 35 cows with three buckets full wood machine. Good luck to you guys and all the best.
Great video. Really appreciate the farm tour. Hope you do more of them. Also it would be nice to get an official intro to the family and the farm hands.
That's going to be a massive upgrade, from a 20 aside to a 80 bale rotary. Hopefully you have an experienced contractor so it runs smoothly from day one
Andy Your channel is by far my favorite to watch! Like to see all that you guys are in to. Glad you are expanding, hope it is due to good fortune. It is amazing to see what your operation has done since 2000. Can you share with the viewers where your dairy products end up? Might be some great viewing. Does your milk go to cheese production, straight milk, or what? What companies can your viewers purchase products from? Keep the great content going Is the new freight shaker for Sarah? Don’t change a thing!
The ratio of cows milked to milking machines definitely shows that you run an EXTREMELY EFFICIENT Operation. The number of cycles per day that each milking machine runs is AMAZING to factor in twice daily milking for your herd size. We somewhat see the work force involved on the machinery maintenance, feeding, manure handling, field work to grow & harvest feed. Staff to milk the cows & provide herd health is a whole other group of people. Nice to see the family business growing rather than taken over by Hugh Corporations.
Hi Andy ! WoW ! this is a big project for go big ! Congratulation every one at the farm ! i will wait for part 2 ! Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
It's great to see the new expansion, your family farm has come along way. I get to watch your expansion on video and my neighbor's farm looking through my backyard. Great to see the younger generation has interests in farming.
Love your layout and explanation of everything…there’s a dairy farm here in Oregon called Three-mile canyon farms…they milk 35000 cows on multiple rotary’s…The owner of the farm owns a bunch of John Deere dealerships in Minnesota and is the #1 supplier of potatoes for McDonald’s 🍟
Wow! Exciting developments. Great that family is sticking together and staying in the business. That presents other struggles but it’s worth it to have everyone pulling the same direction.
Going to be an awesome facility. Glad you have family members support and dedication. This new generation is a little scary. They don't want to work, but they expect hand outs. Keep the updates coming. Catchya at the next one. Stay safe!!
What a brilliant family farm/business growing from within to secure food for the future. Well done Andy and all. That guy at 7:33, wow he can stand very still for a long time!
WOW ANDY !! I am so Happy that your farm is doing well. Dairy farming is definite hard work but when you have a large family and people working together as a TEAM it makes life easier. Sorry to put this part but Stoney Ridge farmer is a wannabe, YOU ALL ,ARE THE BEST. Good Luck & God Bless on the expansion.
Howdy Andy, I hope ya'll are doing well, Ya your milking 2000 cows, which is incredible, and planning to grow to 4000 milking cows, absolutely incredible Andy !! I would really like to see your milking barn, I don't ever remember actually seeing it, and I've been subscribed for several years, so anyways, Please do a specific video, showing your milking barn, and what system you have, that would be a really Cool video to see, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
It's one of those deals he would like to show it but cant. Some of the end product users dont like UA-camrs showing that part of the process or saying who they sell to. To many Karens out there.
Good to see the expansion of the family operation and how your family has taken an interest in running the farm, I am looking forward to seeing it get up and running, thanks for the update.
nice short video and explanation. I can't get over how much your family has expanded in 24 years. Our lovely neighbor, Jack Mueller, just put in a rotary parlor...not quite sure how many cows he's milking. I like seeing your family operation grow...it's evident that your growth is a result of interested family members and not ego.
Congrats on the expansion. I would love to see more about the dairy operation and less on fixing equipment. Calving, milking, dairy operation, etc. I do enjoy everything, just more of what I mentioned.
Thanks Andy for outlining the future of Horrigan Dairies. A parlour that can handle 4000 cows means doubling the pastures of the current farm. You'll definitely need a bigger workshop. Crickets may produce protein but only cows can produce true dairy milk (thus cheese, yoghurts & whey products).
Nice to see you are investing for the future of the family farm and keeping young family working together. I hope all goes well with all the transformation.
That is an impressive operation. I am in the middle of dairy country in Wisconsin and there are operations like yours all over the place. The biggest one I know of is west of me milks over 5000 cows, that is a lot of milk. Will you be able to get your hands on enough land to support 4000 milk cows?
What a great investment in the farm. I love how you mentioned that more of the younger generation wants to get involved. You guys are spending big bucks to keep it in the family.
Quite an operation and plans for the future! Any plans for automating your feeding systems? When do you get to expand the size of your shop to handle more equipment?
It will be a site to see when its finished really looking forward to the progress pics . May i suggest a full protective body suit when you first start using it for milking 😂
That looks awesome. Its nice to hear that the younger family members want to stay on the farm.
Very impressive operation you have Andy👍All the best with this new expansion 🐄🐄🐄🐄
Just like pushing a snowball the more you push it the bigger it gets. All the best with the expansion.
Until you can't push it no more...
Milk tastes better after watching hard working Americans build for the future.
In 1965 we started out with 20 cows and 80 acres, now we have 400 cows and farm 30,000 acres, life's good have a great day
I love it Andy!!!! Love the fact the young family wants to be a dairy farmer!!!! People in this world have no DAMN idea what it takes to be a dairy farmer or a crop or vegetable farmer!!! I love it!!! By the way I have dairy farming in my blood!!! That's for the hater's!!!!
Hey we are not all stupid me and my family row cropped 4200 acre and raised beef cattle on 80 acres
@@terryburgettburgett965 I didn't say anything about stupid??? All farmer's kick ass!!!
And you gonna share a fart with one of your kids, make some dumb jokes about it lol
Great that the family farm will live on for generations to come, thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you for taking time to show us. It was very interesting to see what you have planned. Can't wait to see the updates in the future.
Great fly over view of the farm Andy. Good luck with the expansion & the rotary parlor
Thanks Mike
Andy you faith in the dairy industry and the future of agriculture is truly amazing, especially trying to do business in New York god bless you and your family as you expand your dairy farming operation
Awesome video Andy! That's a heck of an expansion and I'm glad to see it for the family and small independent dairy farmers. Thank you!
Sweet to see such improvements Andy. Glad to hear younger generation is willing to keep going with this operation! And that your kids and your brother kids find their love of life to make more workers!
Wow!!!! What an amazing operation!!!! I am thrilled to see farming survive in today's world. Looks great Andy !! Wish you and your family the best.
Great to see the progress of the new barn and milking facility Andy! Look forward to seeing the finished product!
Wow ! What an operation that y'all put together , talent , very hard work , team work , congratulations ! Family working together.
Wonderful video Andy, great to see the drone shots with your explanation of how the farm has grown over the years.
👍 as a dairy farmer myself I know how important continuous development is .👍🏴
Thanks for the tour Andy.. Gonna be a real sweet set up for you all.
That’s a lot of infrastructure! Thank you for sharing and explaining it Andy!
Great to see and hear the family business is set to expand for your kids and production.
I'm proud to watch, and excited to more from the farm.
God Bless you all
Judging by the footings they are pouring…It’s gonna be an impressive facility…
Well it has to support a turntable with 80 cows standing on it.
I'm in New Zealand. Our 64 cow rotary Platform just the but cows that spins weighs 60 ton. We don't have big cows like Andy. When its fully loaded with cows it's about 90t.
THANKS ANDY SO MUCH FOR LETTING US COME ALONG SIR. A MASSIVE INVESTMENT IN THE NEXT GENERATIONS 👍👍👍. Nothing but the best for you guys!!
Wow, just wow! Amazing how far you have come. Congratulations! Nothing but respect for what you and your family have built.

Very good content Andy good to see from the air thanks
Awesome drone footage. This is what generations of hard work look like.
I remember when you moved across the road in 2000. I was working for a great dairy in the area then. We visited a few times 👍🏻
Andy you never cease to amaze me. I still think you're The Jack of All Trades & The Master of None & pretty soon your kids will be The Jacks of All Trades & The Masters of None. I'm sure when you're gone that farm will be in good hands
If your uncle Jack was stuck on the roof would you help your uncle Jack off?

Great video it’s incredible the rate you are growing and expanding. Looking forward to seeing future construction videos and updates.

Crickets may produce protein but only cows can produce true dairy milk (thus cheese, yoghurts & whey products).
Did not realize how big your operation is until you did fly around how do you keep track of all the milk cows , enjoyed the video.
Do you have your own vets? How's that managed if you don't mind? You're inspirational. God bless you and your family.
Andy, I really appreciate you doing this video. Very awesome you guys should be proud.
Thanks for the tour.

Gonna need milk with your bugs.
