This is probably the best result I've seen from GSW Dipping Inks - now I'm intrigued - they would compliment the AP SpeedPaints I think, as they are a completely different finish/ hue...love it - more paints going on order LOL !!!

I just purchase my first set of speed-type paint 3 days ago, and I have to say...the hype is real. So fast and fun to paint this way! Still not my favorite way to paint, but i totally get why it's so popular. Fantastic video!

I have a set of the old Heroquest game I found under my parents stairs from when I was a kid(now 47). Was thinking to paint them up but I think i'll get the new version and do it like yours. I too am a big fan of The Army Painter Speed paints.

Army painter speed paints certainly improved my painting and the love for it and now its time to try other paints, especially when they are much cheaper lol 🙂

Can’t wait to be able to pick this box up. Here in the US I couldn’t get that expansion as a kid. They didn’t make it available here. That and Wizards of Morcar were only available in the UK. Great work and awesome video as always!

I think the only contrast/shade paint I have is nuln oil , enamel wash , I have a good few revell , some tamiya acrylics, some terrible timbertech acrylics and have recently bought Vallejo and ak , mostly Vallejo though. It's good to have some variations and handy to have mica colours/metallics

opaque means no opacity but full blown .... full colour... and dipping inks are thinner opacity cus they are ink based lol!

opaque is the opposite of see-through. the word for see through is 'transparent'

Great and fun video, as always.
I have a question for you: when speedpainting, do you find any differences between drybrushing with dark grey, light grey and then white or going directly with the white drybrush?
I usually do the grey/white, to have a smoother transition. But it takes more time. But I see you do the white twice, so yeah... is there any specific reasoning or it just feels right for you?
    Thanks!

I used to do grey and then white dry brushing then went to just white and didnt see much difference, I only do 2 lots of dry brushing with white when its with a cheap white that doesnt cover that well 🙂

Great video! It’s so painful seeing you painting those big surfaces with that minuscule brush though 😅

Haha, with my poor eyesight its safer with a smaller brush 😂
