    Looks great. I also feel like it's a shame that folks spend thousands on DJ mixers and gear but only use a picnic table when they set up at a venue. Awesome carpentry skills and very clean and mobile.

    WOW!!! What a FANTASTIC booth! It is truly a testament to quality craftsmanship, long-term planning and patience! You thought of everything and I know having a set up this nice has got to give you a sense of pride! Thanks for sharing your idea and offering to help those of us who might want to follow suit. I may take you up on it! :-)

    You won my subscription to your channel. Been thinking about doing a custom booth for a while but always ran into the "what if..." questions which would discourage me. Your video answers all those what if questions, thank you so much for sharing this. Can you give us a list of raw parts to build this amazing booth please? The CFO of my marriage would want total raw material costs before I build this LOL You understand :) Thanks again for posting this.

    man, this is beautiful!!!!! I wish I had the skills and the tools to make one my self. I bought this thing called Global Truss DT-DJPRO DJ Table I had to buy the carry bag because it didn't come with one. man, that thing was so cheap, it ripped on the 1st pull I gave it. congrats bro.

    Starting a video booth for a 70” TV. Question since we are getting ideas from all sources on things we want/ don’t want.
    1. We are making rolling/stationary so we can roll in/ out of venues and put speakers on bottom shelf. The front will be for the TV and won’t move, so no mount is needed. Would you suggest the same wood type for frame?
    2. How did you Secure the lexan into the router sides? Glue? Same for the strip lighting? If so what kind? (Previously used epoxy for our last project and it “ate/crackled” the plexiglass glass ugh.
    3. Lexan covering to make “less see through” was?
    4. The blocks of wood to hold shelving. Secured by wood glue/screws? Then use putty to fill?
    I’m sure I will have so many more questions as we are starting in January.
    I get the gist of it. But it’s the small things most folks don’t thing about that I don’t wanna mess up on. Our top rac weights 35-55lbs in flight case so I want the shelving support to hold the weight hence the question.

    Great design and great job on the build. Thanks for sharing.
    Two questions:
    1. Is there something holding the shelves in place and preventing the from falling down should someone bump one of the sides that is holding them up?
    2. How are you Hong the TV wires other than running them down and under the front panel?
    I look forward to your reply.
    Cory

      From what I saw in the build, each of the "table" pieces, has l brackets that clip into the sides to lock it all together. that would be the simplest way to manage it I would think - but I agree this is a work of ART!

      There are holes in the front. I have a set of color matched threaded caps when not using the screen.

    I have been envisioning a modular design with some of these elements for a while, but your design literally fit in the missing pieces I needed to move forward with this.
    One small question. It looks like you carry the "stand" portion in one bag. Was there a benefit from using a latching center vs. a hinged center (other than weight)? Did it add more rigidity to essentially "lock" that part into place?

    • @tu-canjamz
      @tu-canjamz  3 роки тому +1

      Hi PC, I have a side and a center section hinged together, allowing it open and free stand on it's own, making it very easy to position and latch the center. You could hinge the center, but then you would have three vertical components versus two and assembly wouldn't be as easy.

    Is there a way that you can send the template of the Cutout for the sides with glass enclosure?

    • @tu-canjamz
      @tu-canjamz  4 роки тому

      Hi Monte', the best way to do that and be sure it fits your opening is to use a sheet of packing paper. Tape it over the opening and then use a pencil to follow the edge. Cut the paper and you have your template, just make sure to subtract enough room for the width of the LED strip if you are going to use one.
