Hey Nick! Please consider making a preset collection for UAD's new Polymax. Such an amazing synth. Thanks!

Great patches, but more impressively, FANTASTIC PLAYING! What is that piece you played for "Anxious Twins"? Sounded classical. Mesmerizing "chordal" movements with only 1 bass note and 1 melody note. Almost like those Bach exercises that were only 2 note playing!

On Backwardsish it seems like the LFO is tied to the filter but resets below a certain key? Is that right? How did you set that up? So good!

I love your patches! I am enjoying them very much on my sub 37! What reverb did you use?

Can you please provide some jazz chord formulas to make our own chord progressions? Can you please tell how to make such chords like you did in the NAMM Nord 2016 session with Cory Henry?

by learning basic music theory, then classical, then jazz theory, then improvising a lot, then messing with the voicings of chords and interplay between melodies and harmonies and counterpoint , etc etc etc etc

First thing you need to understand is intervals. There are 12 basic intervals. With those intervals you can define every scare and chord in western music. Used tho use to find major and minor chords then add 7,9,11,13 and alterations.

Hey there, I'd recommend checking my Patreon series for this. I do deep dives into not only how to make synth sounds as per the above video, but also into harmony and chord progressions. I include lots of hymns and standards and such in these lessons. Head to www.patreon.com/nicholastsemrad for more info!

    Works on Subsequent 25?

I would also be curious about this as well

I'm not finding a great answer to this online, so I'll keep looking. It seems like the Subsequent 25 is made with the guts of the Sub Phatty and NOT the Sub 37, and there are different architectures at play which might mean that the patches don't work. I'll try to find out.

@@NickSemrad You ever figure out for sure whether or not it would work on the Subsequent 27?

@@johnsalazar3903 Unfortunately, I don't think it does. It's a different software underneath the hood of that thing, strangely enough.
