- We have a whole week on Langkawi island and our plans are simple: sun, sand and surf!
It’s felt like a long time since we’ve been around some beautiful beaches so we’re going to make the most of our time here just lazing about on the beach and taking things easy.
Since our days are looking very similar we thought we’d sum up what are time here has looked like rather than bore you with the ins and outs of everyday.

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! We plan to travel the world for a year, see as much as possible, meet as many people as we can, and most importantly MAKE OUR MONEY LAST!
When we left Australia we decided to make travel vlogs to share our journey with our friends and family back home. We also love watching other travel vloggers on UA-cam, in particular Kara and Nate, The Endless Adventure, Way Away, and Flying The Nest.

What an amazing week it sounded like guys, cannot go wrong with the sun and sand! That little breakfast spot overlooking the ocean looked perfect! Great travel vlog guys!
That cafe was amazing. The coffee was a bit pricey for Malaysian standards but it was worth it for the quality and not to mention the view!

The food is similar to the rest of Malaysia. There was a night food market near Cenang Beach (we think once a week) that had a lot of cheap and yummy options.

Just loved cenang beach, my next stop was perhentian kecil over on the east coast of the peninsula (not sure if its a good idea in December but it was even a more laid back chill out spot, if you can believe that). By the way, there is more to the Island then the cenang beach area, you really should get that scooter (I remember it being only 30 Malaysian ringgits a day). Well have a great time either way and as always, cheers.
We agree, a scooter would make your time in Langkawi a lot easier and you would be able to see a lot more.
We did a day trip using Grab but it took over an hour to find a Grab to take us home and it was twice the price of getting there 😣
If I'm not mistaken, all east coast islands are close on monsoon season.

Great channel. Surprised you don't have more subs. We were in langkawi only 4 weeks ago....paradise. we stayed in pelangi beach resort not far from you. You should go there for a drink if you have time....it's stunning there. ATB.
