A big applause to Handong for translating and perfoming the songs. This was indeed a big gift from Dreamcatcer and the Company to her mom, released on the day Dong returns to her and she sees her after two years. It also shows what a beautiful voices Handong has. These songs are the perfect style for her.
Yes jazz bar should've been for handong
Handong's voice suites this soft lilting style so well. Seeing DCC support her release of Chinese versions of these songs is fantastic, along with full special clips. The fact she got to perform each one solo just shows how much love and trust both DCC and DC have in her. Hope that she has a wonderful holiday break back home and is able to return safely.
It's so rare for any company to treat their sub-vocalist like DCC does, but then Dreamcatcher's sub-vocalists are like main vocalist for other groups xD

It's a fact you have to be extra-ordinarily amazing to make it even 1/10 as "famous" as many other groups who are from the big three companies. They are almost like getting free rides for millions of views compare to those from non big three or smaller companies. For me DC is #1 without even any contest (even their company is great from the way they treat the members, not so easy to find a company like this).

They have not been paid for years, I can understand why those fans would decide to boycott: they know they won't hurt Loona members, because they won't get paid anyway, rather they'll hit the company's profits.
it's different from when LISA stans decided not to purchase BP albums because YG did not release the number. ofsales from her solo, this hit the company, but also Lisa.
In Loona's case, the members are exploited so much that, even after one member being kicked and 9 members asking to end their contract,the company gives them a comeback for money and to cover everything.
I love how different the way she sang these is from the group version. The delicacy in 'A Heart of Sunflower', the playfulness with 'Jazz Bar', the lightness in 'Daydream' and the softness in 'Polaris'. Glad that she had the chance to sing these songs not only in her own language but also in her own eay

Unlike most group, you can't have just one bias with Dreamcatcher... all the members are all rounder ace and truly multi-talented. Thank you Dreamcatcher company for giving Handong her moment to shine. Just wish there were full version of each of these great songs especially for Daydream & Polaris.
It feels like, with this Chinese version of Polaris, Dong gives a sincere reply to all the tears her members had shed missing Dong, performing Polaris as six people back at those times she was absent. Dong would never forget about that and Polaris is one of her favorite songs. With no doubt, all seven members of DC have the same heart. And I am crying again, listening to this.

I love handong's voice and omg she's so beautiful. Thank you DCC for treating your idols well, not many companies would let their foreign idols embrace their home culture like this, especially with china in particular due to the politics there. With what's going on with other companies and idols these days it's made me much more appreciative of DCC and how much they've done to treat dreamcatcher well, the fact that the 7 members all renewed so early is a testiment to how secure they feel with the company and JiU explaining that they've gotten very favourable contracts just makes me so happy and proud of them.

Handong is such a tease. There she was just chatting about intending to do Chinese version of DC songs yesterday, and today DC dropped this beautiful medley of DC songs sung by Dongie in chinese.
She's a genius, translating , writing their songs' lyrics to Chinese, and sounding just as good as the Korean. Dreamcatcher full of extremely talented and smart people. I'm always amazed. I always think we InSomnias we're so fortunate.

I absolutely adore Handong's voice, especially when she is singing in Mandarin. In Mandarin, her voice has a magical and soft quality that shines even more than when she sings in Korean. I don't understand Chinese but I'm sure that Handong put in a lot of time and effort into translating the song and matching the lyrics to the original songs' vocal performance while maintaining the key points of meaning. Anyway, it's a truly beautiful medley. I'm glad I could hear it. I might sound a bit greedy but I want to hear more of Handong in the future.
