You are a fabulous teacher! Just genuinely driven by the desire to teach others! I have so much respect for you and pray that you understand that you are a leader, period.👏👏👏
Thanks for another great video! Watching, practicing, and hoping one day soon I can braid my daughter's hair better 🙂 - and my own too, would be nice!!
It is because of you that I learned how to braid....Dutch, french, corn row....you are my go to guy. This is one braiding style I have been wanting to learn and here you go with a tutorial. All I gotta say is thanks Linwood for sharing your tips, advice and knowledge with us❤❤😁
Your braiding ability is amazing I truly admire all the different styles that you've created for your children, I'm sure your daughters are the Envy of everyone else's hairstyles even myself and I'm 64😇
I taught myself how to braid and I've had to figure out most of those tips in my own. I love how relaxing he sounds. He's like the Bob Ross of hair. I love me some Bob Ross.
I very much understand how to do this but sometimes I get a little confused on how to start it in the beginning. But I love how he talks you through it and explains how and why you should do certain steps. And I love how he has the camera close enough so ppl can see exactly what’s going on.❤❤❤
Using the rat tail comb is a game changer! The only way I was able to learn French braiding was to talk my way through it out loud. It really worked for me!
You’re right about saying things out loud because that’s how my mom taught me to braid she kept saying what she wanted me to do over and over and over and eventually I got the hang of it
Love your channel. Great for learning. And YES, I do talk myself thru new techniques and even ones I haven't done in a while. I am a cosmetologist and find no shame in that lol.
this style is very classy especially for a wedding if you have flower girls it's a good style for them and then you add flowers or accessories to the style and some curls at the end of amazing I've seen a lot of people and myself do it differently but it looks the same can you teach how to do Stitchthat's the only thing I cannot achieve I can't do zig-zag braids but I can do other different kinds of braids that has a style to thank you for sharing this technique 👍♥️
Yep, I always tell people its not high prices that get you the money all the time its low prices sometimes. I always say " Walmart want all the money" 💰 meaning they're getting the bag cause they're cheaper.
Where do you teach?! I am currently enrolled in a beauty school in round rock but I would love to take a class from you! 😍 Your videos help me so much! I can only imagine how awesome it'd be to see it in person! 🙌🏼
I teach at the high school level, but my students and I are teaching a braiding class in Killeen on the 27th of October for the armed forces natural hair and health expo. What school are you at in Round Rock? I attended a makeup class at the Paul Mitchell school out that way a few years back!
How do you keep the waterfall piece tight at the top of the head? I have always been able to waterfall, but my daughters hair gets fluffy on the top because the pieces that I have dropped as the waterfalls don't have anything technically locking them down so as the day does it just continues to get fluffy.
Simply amazing!! Your talent is speechless! And. Your nails are beautiful. I wish I had an amazing gift. 💙 I'm in Killeen so if I run into you and your wife don't be surprised if I run for a hug! 😀
Thanks love! Lol I won’t be too surprised, but Alison still isn’t used to the attention! 😂 She stays mean mugging people when they run up and then being like “OH! Thank you so much sweetheart!” LOL everyone around town knows me, so she’s more accustomed to me getting stopped and things.
It’s definitely a process, plus overhand braiding is backwards to most people of color, and on top of that I’m dropping a strand every 3rd step which just sounds wrong lol. Thanks so much for the love boo! ❤️❤️❤️
@@GetGlamFam Hun, I can't do none of it at all! 😩 Lol. Thanks so much for the tutorials. The more technical, the better.😁 I love you and your family.❤️❤️❤️
@@GetGlamFam yes, definitely could be lighting issue. Perhaps hair texture play a part as well? Mine is very straight and fine. I notice the braids always look much better if I curl and tease the hair first. It adds more depth and dynamic. But anyway, thanks for replying! 😊
Giving you that ASMR hair tutorial realness! LOL I hope you found this video helpful! Let me know down below!

I would recommend using a bit of product like a light gel while braiding, or misting a hairspray over the top when you finish. 👍🏽 Excellent question!
Very beautiful....all the best to you and your beautiful family
Love your videos!!
Gracias te queda bonito sencillo y se entiende mejor tiene un truquito intermedio muy fácil de confundir. Pero sencillo o finito se entiende mejor

That’s interesting, most of my clients have dark hair and braids show rather well on them. Maybe it’s a lighting issue.
