I really like it when when the base troops of an army have an interesting story to themselves, it really helps to set up a grander narrative
Totally agree, when even the smallest dude has a story to tell you know its a good faction!
I like that the Myrmidesh give off a sort of twisted "warrior monk" vibe; it seems almost un-Slaanesh, how they deprive themselves of any sensation except fighting (including "pleasures of the flesh"). It would almost seem virtuous or noble except for the sadism
If I remember right, while most Twinsouls do eventually succumb to their patron, the Egopomps (the leaders of the unit) are actually able to subsume their patron and take the power for themselves with no cost.
If you try had enough and believe in yourself, you can be the fleshmower you want to see in the world

the myrmidesh remind me of a thing I heard once, that khorne and slaanesh actually fight for followers pretty often because killing and violances aren't what khornes the god of, they're the RESULT of the thing khorne is god of; rage. if you kill for killings sake, out of sadism and cruel joy, that's slaanesh.

The Slaangors grabbed me first- I’m a lover of all things monstrous and bestial; that said, the blissbarb and their cav versions are so cool. So much mobility and character shown in simple minis
for the twin sous there is also the leaders of these squads who are able to fully tame the demon inside of them and get all the power and remain in control the whole time.

How do hellstriders go to the bathroom if they're not able to dismount their steed? Also what happens if you try to push or pull them out of the saddle, are they physically stuck, or is it like a curse where they die or something if they get pushed off the saddle? These are the real questions.
Knowing how slannesh works probably they piss and shit on themselves, too anducted by thier need to go fast and fight ( kinda like berserkers).
If they get pushed from the saddle the daemonic steed probably grabs them and drags them back into the realm of slannesh to be punished for eternity.

Hey Doug, could you please update your playlists. I haven't been watching much recently but the other day I went to try to find the lore on the new undead faction and couldn't quite figure out which it was.. Then I saw something about Broken Realms and was like "WTF is that?!" and went to the BR playlist and it's just stories and not explaining how GW got to Broken Realms.. I'm so confused right now.
