Thx:)If you are open for tips, go for the Talon Gt Rebel rather than the Dart Xl, it flies better and stay in the air longer than the Xl

Thanks:) It`s easier than you think to fly these planes, a bit of practice on a small plane or a simulator and you are ready to fly:) And With the amazing nature you got there down in Bavaria, you would have a great time flying.

Thanks:) It a good plane that you dont need to do anything with too have a great flying experience. Just have a glue gun available because you will have bad launches and landings, but is easy too put together again.

2:52 I like the editing order. Make us wonder what kind of maneuvers was going on with only showing the rear facing shot and then show the shot from the quad.
Yeah were nice to have both perspectives to edit from, but can`t steal the footage from plane pilot every time:)

Awesome video! The chase footage is top notch. Did you get a lot of video break up when flying directly through the fog? I need to setup my ZOHD Dart XL but have little experience with wings compared to quads.
Thanks:) No break up in the fog, have never had much interference when flying in fog or clouds. The setup are easy if you stay away from a flight controller, never had much luck with them
@@BjarnerimiFpv I see. Yeah I've been struggling to decide on FC vs not. But I think I might want to try getting it setup for long range, in which case I need an FC I guess?
If you need return to home yes. But I have been running without a FC. I know my crossfire link won`t fail, and how far out I can fly out with my video link before it becomes unflyable. I also have a gps onboard so if i go down a rescue mission is possible:)

I would definitely love to get led lights like this for my wing. Very nice and very bright. Where can I get them and how many volts do they run on? How much has battery consumption increased? Is it 4s? How many mah are you using the battery and what propeller are you using on it?
Sorry for so many questions at once, but I have the same wing only v2..so I would like it to be as efficient as possible and light in a similar way to yours.

Just ask away, happy to help if i can. I think they were just some cheap lights bought at a local store. They were flown on 4s and if i remember correctly they didnt have too much of an effect on battery consumption. Battery and prop were 3300 mah and a apc 8x5 prop if my memory serves me right, this is like 4 years ago so i could be wrong on some of the details:)

And do you remember if the led strip was 12v, or something more, and if you connected it directly to vcc, or not?
I currently have led strips on my wing that work on 5v, it's ok in the dark...but during the day they are barely visible. I would like them to shine brighter.
It was 12v and were directly connected to vcc yeah. I think all the flights with them were flown in the winter, and with the little light we have here up north in the winter months made the leds pop a bit more

Thx:) The setup on that plane is just a Tbs micro reciver a Tbs unify pro on 800 mW and a Foxeer Predator mini. No flight Controller. The lights are just some cheap LED`s from ebay, will be upgrading those in the future, not that easy to spot when chasing with the drone in certain light conditions
@@BjarnerimiFpv I'm setting mine up with some bright flashing (on command) lights to enable the drone pilot to pick me out. Also lights in all different orientations that will stay on. The same switch to turn (or flash on off) I have in my flight controller can be plugged into any free servo plug on the RX. So even all those same lights can be flicked on and off to really help pick it out of the sky. Just an inline relay really.
Also check out HK for another more feature packed light controller. Haven't used it yet but it is a single servo plug with eight different channels and multiple configurations for lights. Looks easy to set it up. Who is the plane pilot?

It`s a 2 blade on the plane, and I am flying the drone that has 3 blades
