Hey, Im trying to find an information about it, is it possible to use it as audio interface for recording to PC those mic inputs? Or USB is only for audio output from PC? Thanks!
Hi, Can i use all A,B,C Monitor Switches at once? So i could hear all Speakers at once. Or ist it possible only to hear one Pair of Speakers at the same Time? Thanks
Thanks a lot for this review! I find it hard to find anything about it on the internet - seems like nobody's using such a controller? What are your thoughts about the sound quality?
I love the way it interacts with the speakers doesn't really affect the sound but it has a really smooth control its a VCA controller kinda what you can find on mixing consoles
Have a question about your rack for the behringer monitor 2 usb. Do you have it mounted screwed in on the rack or is it just setting on the rack? I'm looking for one to do the same similar desk setup like yours.
in my opinion it does not color the sound at all, and since I use ad/da converters a monitor controller is kinda of a must have, but before I did use a passive controller from sm pro audio and to be honest it was a night and day difference when I got the Behringer, just the quality and smoothness of the monitor2usb makes it totally worth it
I've never really tried out the xenyx before but I have seen it and it does have more features for the same price the reason i didn't consider getting it is because it is bigger and takes more space, it doesn't have as good reviews as the monitor2usb and I just needed something dedicated to the monitors didn't need the extra features
well I use a ad/da converter and go form the outs to the monitor2usb and use the monitor2usb's usb interface for my computer sounds, but if you are asking that if you can use both a interface and the monitor2usb's usb interface simultaneously on a DAW im sure you can all you have to do is set the outputs and inputs on your preferences
Caffeina Studio that was part of my concern also, I have a dedicated converter and an interface and want to use this for volume control on my converter
what I would do in that case is use the monitor2usb as a dedicated volume for everything the second source option on the monitor2usb can be substituted with analog inputs, you don't necessarily have to use the usb, you can send two outputs for your interface and two outputs form your converter and control it all with the monitor2usb
@@caffeinastudio832 Hi, I was questionning myself about the quality of the headphones outputs. I suppose that a real headphones amp is better but can't have everything... ?
wow... learn before you share. crossfeed is for headphones only. Not speakers. ever. Sure the knob feels good. And the overall functionality seems good. That in no way shape or form means that this is a great unit. Does it color the sound coming through the unit, or not color the sound? That's the question. And the only question that matters. But from what I see with your setup, I have a feeling your ears are not quite there yet. So for you it probably doesn't matter. The truth is only the better passive monitor controllers don't color the sound. If it plugs into the wall you're probably in trouble. It doesn't matter how cheap or expensive it is.
Wow, watch and read before you comment! I'll reply in kind... Well done for trying but it looks as though your comprehension and listening skills aren't quite there yet. The guy was talking about cross feed for headphones! Plus the question of whether sound is coloured or not was answered a year ago in the comments... No need to be a prickly pear. Whether or not I mix (haven’t for years FWIW) has nothing to do with your belittling tone, Mr Martin. Now, as you’re the pro mix engineer, where’s the link to your award winning mix? I would love to hear it. No? Come on! You were so confident before!

You can listen to all sources and speakers at once

I'm very keen on choosing this one because of the usb i/o and xlr outs, but am curious as to what dac chip is used.any clues bro?
Hey guy from 4 years ago! I have a question! Can you have both SOURCE's selected at the same time?
i'm curious too!
Yes you can
Hey man, good review. Can you still say same thing about monitor2usb after 4years, is it worth buying?
Absolutely, still use it to this day with a way upgraded rig
@@caffeinastudio832 great, thanks, I'm looking at getting one.

Yes

I just used some zip ties on both the monitor2usb and on the pre, simple but effective
Thanks for the info. Good tip
Any advice on how to set this up with my DAW???
Thanks mate.
does it color the sound and did you see a difference in sound wise from using the monitor2control with or without it
in my opinion it does not color the sound at all, and since I use ad/da converters a monitor controller is kinda of a must have, but before I did use a passive controller from sm pro audio and to be honest it was a night and day difference when I got the Behringer, just the quality and smoothness of the monitor2usb makes it totally worth it

does your interface work with it or do you have to get rid of the interface?

Is the main volume control analog or digital?
It's VCA voltage control regulator "analog"
