About the Thumbnail: These photos are not related to the video but I chose them because of what they mean to me. the camellia is a photo I took during a time when I was just beginning the process of letting go of my past. I hadn't yet learned what I was growing into, but I was ready to move forward. The photos of me with my children and me with my husband are special because of the beam of light. A dear friend noted it first with me and the kids. To me, the light represents a little acknowledgement from God that I am perfectly me even while living in my roles as wife and mother. In both pictures I am out in nature which I feel a special connection to and I'm sharing that moment with the people I love. It's like two sides of me are meeting existing together without conflict. Neither side had to make room for the other. I chose pink for the words because that is the color of the camellia.
