- Hi! Welcome back and welcome to my Hobonichi layout experiment. Since there were 5 weeks prior to January 1st, I wanted to try 5 different layout ideas and see which one made sense for what I need my Hobonichi to be. Be sure to watch through to see which one (or ones) I liked!

The Hobonichi pens are just Jetstream pens with 0.5 tips.Just make sure the refills are for the multipen. Thanks for the different layout ideas. I want to try some new ideas this year.

I use exactly the same pentel pen! 0.3 is perfect for writing in these grids
But beware that ball-point pen ink will bleed through the pages after 1.5~2 years inevitably!!! So I always avoid them on any hobonichi notebook.

Thank you! I decided I want to make a total of 15 different layouts so I can rotate them throughout the month. I feel so much more fun and exciting to fill things in each week when it’s different.

Thank you! In high school I liked 3 different girls’ handwriting so I asked them to write the alphabet and then I combined what I liked about the three 🤣
I came across cream colored correction and it paper matches perfectly on the Hobinichi weeks when I mess up.

Love the editing! 🩷 Thank you for the ideas, I love how you try a different layout every week as you experiment what you liked and what you didn’t. Will definitely try that approach with my weeks because I’m still struggling with mine but I don’t want to abandon it either and I’m very determined to use it throughout the year 😅

Love seeing your setup! I tried the Hobonichi Weeks but it was too small for my needs!! I use the Hobonichi Cousin now and it doesn't feel as crammed !

Hi. Love the video and how full your pages look! I am a ring planner girl but early this year I decided to use an A5 for bullet journaling. But a couple of weeks later, I decided to go back to personal rings but while waiting for my inserts, I bought a Hobonichi Weeks.

@@DiscoveringJacklyn it's just that I realized that my binder cover no longer looks good and I would need to get another one. Still, I think sooner or later l, I will be able to find a use for rings even with my hobonichi. I really love rings and how it allows me to use pretty vellum papers to decorate my planner with.
I hope I get to the rings level one day. It feels like the possibility is endless, which is also why it scares me right now to think of using
