As for Spit, ( going of non-spoiler information ) my take is that he is simply mentally ill ( his friend did mention that he has not taken Ritalin a medicine that is mostly used for treating ADHD and ADD ).

@@Lord_Numptywhile the potential is there (never take the guy saying "i hear voices in my head" lightly in WOD), he could also be something a lot less... actively dangerous. Then Spit come along and show mental and social weakness... there are many disciplines that could be use to make his state of mind worst. As to what happen at the end of the episode... well it could still be both the ghoul who provoked such result on an instable Spit OR the voice in Spit head's could indeed be something darker that decided to come to a climax at that moment. When it comes to ghouls (From how i understood it ) when seed ghoul consumes vampire blood it mixes into there human blood resulting in the high - feeling of increased power as well giving the ghoul a portion of the vampires power. So if you tested a ghouls blood and you know what you are looking for you would detect traces of vampire blood.

As it weirded you out: the Three wheeled car is known as a 'Robin Reliant'. It was a 'car' manufactured in the UK... and I use the term loosely. The Robin was made to circumvent traffic laws I believe, as it used a engine that you would normally find in a motorbike, it being a more being a reinforced motor-trike than a car (hence it being 3 wheels rather than 4). As it used a smaller less powerful engine then cars you could drive it with a much easier to obtain motorbike license than a car license. They were made in the 70s or 80s, and when I was young in the early 2000's there were a few still around, and being built till 2002. It was notable for a low speed (though still serviceable street speed), and was famous for being REALLY unstable. However when they were made in the 70s people in the north of England liked them as in heavy snow their weird shape and lighter build meant they could more easily drive through snow and mud, as they were so light they did not sink into it as fast as bigger cars: ideal in locations that did not get snow plows. Though all in all, it was a really bad 'car.'
It's an interesting detail that for all of his insane antics, D is actually competent hunter and interrogator, you never get actual information with torture, you just get what you want to hear if only for the pain to stop (which is why witch hunts were such bs), so the interrogator has to get their target's guard down, so they can the information they need from them with them clamping down or outright lie
So theories? . . . Spit is a Lycan and is just finding out first hand. Fatigue was the ghoul (due to his advanced age and just wanted to live a little bit longer) but messed with Spit's transformation and got killed for it.
@@AmericanBrit9834 the age thing is not a problem, while Garou usually went through the first change during adolescence is not so unusual for some late bloomers to only discover what they are after they are adults
@@AmericanBrit9834 Very true, while there are ways for a Garou to heep their clothes intact, it is something they have to learn and to do so they need to be in contact with other Garou. Also when you hear Fatigue being torn apart you can hear rather audible sound of someone gulping something liqid so that is another point against the garou theory.
I don't think it's the Chapter Master, Black Law, or Slackjaw for a number of reasons. The Chapter Master is for the type of Wizard he is, a solar wizard. This means that his teleportation uses sunlight and that he has spells that would kill the undead, such as vampires. He is the target of spying and a possible solution in the end. Also, saw the rest of the episode, but will not spoil it for you. Blackjack and his son are less certain of facts but very certain narrative-wise, for they need them to get in Big D's way without being suspect. Also, I don't think Spite is the mole they are looking for, but maybe Git is since he works at a store run by Vampires. Spit, however, will probably kill Git if it turns out he is turning into a werewolf.
5:25 My guess is that chalkboard is tracking overall membership in this Chapterhouse. There are mentions of it being smaller than most, and that Occam is bullied on policy by Remold in one of the audiologs. This meeting that's interrupted is also clearly about budgeting/expenses. The Arcanum is funded largely by Old Money; it wouldn't surprise me if Fatigue and Blacklaw essentially are the purseholders of this particular Chapterhouse. It's showing that this place has seen better days, and it's only getting worse. Very in tone for the setting.
The three wheeled car is called the Reliant Robin. They're most well known for one getting repeatedly bullied in the Mr. Bean shows. They aren't overly good from what I know, but they still have a following. Also, their makers also made the Reliant Kitten. So we know what you-know-who drives.
They are fine, their advantage was mostly that they were cheap (when first release in 1973, the robin was like £800) and that you didn't need a full driver license. Manufacture home was coal country, coal miner want cheap vehicle for work commute, because that way they don't have to care to much about it getting dirty.
There is a idea rolling around that Spit is a Werewolf as the symptoms of someone under lycantrophy are on display, which explains why the scholar of such things was so focused on him.
23:38 Chekhov's Gun in mentioning O'tolley. In setting place that sells tainted products that make people more susceptible to corruption(supernatural kind) and possession by evil spirits. Hope boy will be alright in the end.
My guess is there going to go down the same route that TTS started to. Where boy ends up wrestling with an Eldritch god (and winning) without realizing it.
25:31 That's Irish Gaelic, which essentially means "Thank you very much!" Literally it translates to something like "May you have that which is good," but is used in the same way we say "thank you" in English.
11:13 Umm, D just said that he and Occam were "engaged" and is specifically referring to the papers as "divorce papers" at the very frame you have it paused on. It really isn't that complicated. 39:25 Deathwatch. And Ordo Xenos. The image very specifically seems to be that of the Dark Angel (whose name I do not recall). (Deathwatch does have something called Black Shields)
A ghoul has vampiric blood coursing inside them. So blood test could've revealed at least something. Ghoul also uses vampirc blood to use disciplines. The only difference is that ghoul doesn't go into frenzy because he spent all his blood and instead risk to experience withdrawal if they spend it all.
11:42 I have a mental problem…every “occam” MUST be corrected to “ocRAM” aka ocram from terraria, and ocram’s razor for mechdusa 14:43 “they could be in this very room, it could be *you* it could be *me* it could even be-
Sort of? It depends on how it's treated. If the gun is already there. Or isn't a focus, it can be set dressing. But if the gun (or what ever prop is acting in its place) becomes the viewers focus, then leaving it out becomes a narrative problem, essentially a loose end cluttering up a story because it's inclusion was irrelevant.
I’d actually think that the hunters themselves are now glorified neighborhood patrollers if anything from the young hunters they could be trained to take care of low level hunters or ghouls.
The blood test isn't canon to WoD entirely (as far as a Neophyte as I knows), but it should be because it makes sense. See, like narcotics in a drug fiend's bloodstream, Vitae of their vampire masters can be found in the blood of a ghoul; especially if it's a Revenant, who are ghouls bred in family lines to produce their own Vitae. Also, on Spit/Simon's mental freakouts, I've heard two theories; 1.) He's about to be Imbued, where he's receiving a Reckoning from the Celestials as well as encompanying powers. He's going mad because unknown beings beyond our mortal ken have taken an interest in him at this time and place. 2.) He's Shifting. See, in WoD, this is something akin to how Werewolves or other Fera beings are born. Luna or Gaia or whoever chooses someone to be imbued with the gift of being infused with mystic Spiritual power, where he could become a werewolf. It definitely explains what happens later, because that... scene is indicative of a werewolf's violent first transformation.
3:14 I didn't catch that. But I think it's funnier, and more likely, that Big D just quarreled with the entire Blacklaw line and they just assume he's a different guy each time.

This one is grasping at straws, and might not be an intentional reference: But Occam's skydiving daydream reminded me a lot of the album cover of Masayoshi Takanaka's All of Me Good album btw
The 3 wheel car is a Reliant Robin, infamous for getting onto it's sides if turning to fast because of the front wheel. In Yaoi, the Uke is the bottom, the Seme the top. The nokia N-Gage isn't the classic nokia you're thinking of, but maybe durable too. In the pub he actually seemed interested in Marckus' Nokia N-Gage phone when Brock took it, as if he's asking Marckus if he can see it. I never thought that Spit could've been a wayward hunter, Git mentions Spit's out of Ritalin if he's just withdrawaling from Ritalin rather being a ghoul he'd have a lot of mood swings. "Goraibh mile maith agat" Is basically "thank you very much. The Arcanum is a UK secret society that hunts mainly to collect and archives super natural evidence and artifacts. Some members are sorcerers, different from mages. You don't see a backrest behind Brock because he's on the folding chair he carried to the pub probably.
airier someone has probably pointed this out but , yes, 3 wheeled cars was a thing, the one we saw is a van version of the reliant Robbin, if you have heard of ounly fools and horses its the trade mark vehicle for del boy and Rodney. there's also the Messerschmitt KR200 (looked it up).
Re: the three wheeler: that is probably a Reliant Robin. There's a Top Gear episode about it that will detail for you exactly _why_ you don't see three-wheeled cars nowadays.
To be clear, Occam is *not* a Mage - as in one of the namesake supernaturals of Mage: The Ascension, AKA the Awakened. He is a mortal who happens to be a practitioner of one form of sorcery (AKA "linear magic", and more derisively as "hedge magic" or "hedge wizardry"), a lesser form of magic that any mortal can learn and wield (provided they possess the appropriate Traits in game-mechanics terms).
My take and theory, Matilda Wilde is a Garou. It's a full moon and she's the only one not present during what happens to Fatigue. And most people have a mental breakdown when they lay eyes on a Garou in their war form.
Spoiler for next part: It just occurred to me that Fatigue told Spit to try compartmentalizing the problem, and in the end he ends up getting broken up into smaller bits himself. Heh
25:32 Occam's outburst in Irish basically punctuates his "we're doing this my way" with a sarcastic "thank you very much."
Thanks.

30:10 - "Am I glad that he's frozen in there and were out here and that he's the sheriff and were frozen out here, and that we're in there and-I just remembered-were out here!" (search "Where's the Caveman?" to get it)
34:55 - The Ruber meme as a medieval tapestry.
,29:52 The symbol on the stake in the doll is the Loss Glyph I II II I_
Occams Magic is also likely a reference to Exhalted, which was closely connected to World Of Darkness during its creation... before diverging. Where Solar Magics can be quite impressive.
More tts expys!
29:15 Ephrael Stern as a nun, and a buff one no less, and Lady Malys as… an esteemed member of the chapter house or a vampire?
39:07 Kryptman and Calato
The Chapter House is based on a Medieval Tower in Great Yarmouth and the building itself is made up of bits and references to other buildings in Yarmouth.
The 3 Wheeler is also a Reliant Regal. Both are done by artist CockPuncher.
Yeah as a top gear fan i recognized that car immediately lol
As for Spit, ( going of non-spoiler information ) my take is that he is simply mentally ill ( his friend did mention that he has not taken Ritalin a medicine that is mostly used for treating ADHD and ADD ).
yeah also the fact that noone batted an eye at his freak out and simply let him do it implies this happens enough that they know of it and just try to accomadate best they can and only fatique had any idea on how to help
Addendum : this theory is probably somewhat of a spoiler but there are also two other possibilities,
.

namely Spit may be either possessed by a Wraith or he is a unknowing Changeling - fairy - fay, both of this possibilities would explain the "voices".
My guess is he’s the red herring. I’m saying it’s either Amanda or doctor waters.
Or he's a marauder that redirected his paradox backlash in a moment of madness
@@SingaporeStudios That could be the case or the old man was a wizard and since he is old ( his memory's are not what they used to be ) he tried to help Spit with magic but ended up paradox-ing so bad it killed him.

his name is Occom
Like Occam's razor.
He's choosing the most direct and simplest course of action.
Make every one aware of what's going on, such that you can then dive into the issue.

he's made it clear for a while now that he's using Kevin's Human Identity as his own for the sake of public interactions.

"cannon"
For what is considered actually part of the story. to be taken as "real" within the story.
Versus content and side stories that would otherwise not actually be counted as part of the story of a series and exist as their own standalone thing.
Cannon Vs non cannon.
not much of a reference.
40:00
yes they're exes. This was more or less explicitly said during the pubbling episode with Markus.
Three wheeled cars were a thing in UK, mostly found in the northern parts. And people did actually die in them but people still drove them because they were cheap to buy.
They are called Reliant Robins.
HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T EVEN THINK THAT SPIT MIGHT BE GETTING HUNTER VISIONS
bit puzzle by that cuz that mean a mix between old and new lore
The whole "messenger" thing that grant hunter knowledge and power to fight the creature of the night, that's 3rd edition stuff. 2nd Inquisition, thats 5th edition stuff where the lore and meta for the hunter change quite a lot. Dont remember the messenger still being a thing or their how they communicate with hunter.
A lot of people on Alfabusa’s channel are theorising Simon’s something _much_ more dangerous than a proper, Edge-using Hunter.
@@Lord_Numptywhile the potential is there (never take the guy saying "i hear voices in my head" lightly in WOD), he could also be something a lot less... actively dangerous.
My line of though is more along the line of: "The ghoul know he or she will display symptom at some point in the future, he/she just need a bit of time to find an escape window and a flashy distraction for him/her to put its plan into motion".
Hell, could be both: the ghoul prod a bit too far the poor Spit, climax happen and... not spoiling it but it could just be the ghoul plotting waaaaaaay overachieve its goal here.
@@oliviernaud4373As I recall, the Messengers still make Imbued and the Imbued are still around, but they aren't used as the standard for player characters in Hunter.
29:06 I believe those are both TTS references, the image on the left being Ephrael Sturn (crazy sister of battle in the Black Library) and the one on the right being Lady Malice (Drukhari possessed by the clown god)
39:12 the Dark Angel whose only kill in the entire tyranid invasion, was a sister of battle... also asking him for coffee is a fun bonding exercise.
I think Spit is a werewolf going through his first change.
So theories?
.
.
.
Spit is a Lycan and is just finding out first hand. Fatigue was the ghoul (due to his advanced age and just wanted to live a little bit longer) but messed with Spit's transformation and got killed for it.
Possible but probably not
@@AmericanBrit9834 the age thing is not a problem, while Garou usually went through the first change during adolescence is not so unusual for some late bloomers to only discover what they are after they are adults
Oh Fatigue studies Lycanthropes. Could mean something.
@@verifiederror4386 Hmm it didn't sound like gulping to me, more like crunching.
5:25
My guess is that chalkboard is tracking overall membership in this Chapterhouse.
Did you notice how theres many scratch marks around the place? There might be something worse than a ghoul in there
Grimmal calling kitten UKE basically means she's calling him a bottom in Japanese.
oh... i think we are being challenged to pay attention to who is with who going where, because Among Us.
Yup
And with my memory... I should probably concede in advance. 😅
@@Airier EJECT AIRER
@@angrybrony [Airer was not the ghoul]
Kanon comes from the same people behind Clannad.
In other words, watch it if you want to cry.
Ok. But are you going to get the Kevin plushie?
25:31 That's Irish Gaelic, which essentially means "Thank you very much!" Literally it translates to something like "May you have that which is good," but is used in the same way we say "thank you" in English.
29:03 IT’S LADY MALYS! *clown laugh*
30:25 THE NULL BOX FROM TTS!
So is Occam a Judge creed Hunter?
11:42 I have a mental problem…every “occam” MUST be corrected to “ocRAM” aka ocram from terraria, and ocram’s razor for mechdusa
14:43 “they could be in this very room, it could be *you* it could be *me* it could even be-
24:03 Chekov's Gun is not in any way a hard and fast rule. Sometimes a gun is just set dressing.
8:12 nope sorceror diffrent stuff than mage. Weaker than true magic but cant get paradox
26:15 he said if only
17:45 I don't know why you thought it was a Toriko reference, but "toki" is literally just the Japanese word for "time".
Also, on Spit/Simon's mental freakouts, I've heard two theories;
1.) He's about to be Imbued, where he's receiving a Reckoning from the Celestials as well as encompanying powers.
30:30 that's legit the box Magnus was in during TTS!
3:14
I didn't catch that. But I think it's funnier, and more likely, that Big D just quarreled with the entire Blacklaw line and they just assume he's a different guy each time.
23:11 that is indeed a three wheeled car, a Reliant robin if im not mistaken, a classic.
Wow. It's been so long. But here we are again boys. Man that theme music hits hard.
this is my 5th rewatch of the original, that box 30:29 is the one magnus was in when the ultramarines gnabbed him. would never have seen it if you hadnt pointed it out
39:32 In the last episode Grimalin explained in the bar that she wanted to date Kitten.
Nah she dated Kitten, not wanted to. They are exes.
8:30 Ukulele boy?
16:00 Wait, Jacket? I wonder if there's any relation to the Jacket from Hotline Miami. Wait, *there's* an idea. What if Hotline Miami took place in Hunter or the World of Darkness?
This one is grasping at straws, and might not be an intentional reference: But Occam's skydiving daydream reminded me a lot of the album cover of Masayoshi Takanaka's All of Me
Good album btw
7:16 It's basically a crude version of the Custodian's Halberd... Yes it has a gun on the end of it
The 3 wheel car is a Reliant Robin, infamous for getting onto it's sides if turning to fast because of the front wheel.
I like how d smiles when he fights. Basically showing that hes him
To be clear, Occam is *not* a Mage - as in one of the namesake supernaturals of Mage: The Ascension, AKA the Awakened.
I was wondering if spit was the red herring, but now you made the Occam's razor reference. And I think that confirms it.
17:47 Considering how that's Kenshiro, it could be referring to Literal Wasteland Jesus, Toki
I just noticed the tapestry in the background is a reference to Quest for Camelot
My take and theory, Matilda Wilde is a Garou. It's a full moon and she's the only one not present during what happens to Fatigue. And most people have a mental breakdown when they lay eyes on a Garou in their war form.
The Blue Car that appeared is a Reliant Robin. It is known for rolling over almost every time you turn it.
Spoiler for next part:
It just occurred to me that Fatigue told Spit to try compartmentalizing the problem, and in the end he ends up getting broken up into smaller bits himself. Heh
I'd like to request if you could give a listen to the One Helluva Broken Day audiobook

10:34 No, she seems more worried, at least in my interpretation.

yes Airier, three-wheelers exist. look up Robin Reliants
Or more up-to-date, the Weird Car from Cars 2.
This. Robin Reliants are also infamous for rollovers in tight turns. I wonder why -_-
Yes. Three wheeled cars was a thing. Might be a reference to Mr Bean since a blue three-wheeler always crashes due to Bean's antics
Yes three wheels existed. I believe they were invented as a legal loophole since a car was defined as having four wheels.
22:56 Ever watched Mr. Bean? xD
And also, did you notice that Brok Blacklaw was sitting on a chair not like the others?
ritalin is a medication for add or impulsive behaviors. at 33:23 the fellow guard says he out of the meds
Ah yes the three-wheeled blue car. Who's fate is to be eternally run off the road by Mr. Bean.
Considering everything, my guess at who is mole is that it's a Gargoyle
Anyone else giggle when he wondered if Wilde was a werewolf?
I wonder if that three wheeler was a small nod to the Mr. Bean series if Bruva Alfabusa was a fan of that old cartoon
The 3-wheeled car is a Reliant Robin. Look it up there are some great older Top Gear clips.
The three wheeled car is real. It's called a Reliant Robin. They rolled over quite easily.
16:33 Oh brother is crossed out and sister is written over something? Oh boy what interesting "subtext" that is I wonder what it could mean
38:00 huh. So Simons is a hunter with some "gift".
8:24 "uke" is the yaoi term for "passive", basically meaning "bottom" (as opposed to "seme" being the top).
