Today I'm packaging your etsy orders and thought I'd share the process with an artist studio vlog. Packaging is a huge part of selling on Etsy and something I like to take a lot of time over. here are my questions for your etsy realted video:
1. what is the safest way to package paintings?
2. as a non-famous artist, what would be a good pricing for paintings, so that people would still buy them?
3. do you have any tips on the shop design, such as description, header, name of the shop etc.?
The way you package orders makes me buy your paintings just to unwrap it, get the painting out, wrap the wrapping the way it was and stare at the packaging. That's how pretty it is

I’m new to painting, I started during quarantine but my mum is a painter and has painted for years (she’s so busy with work that she hasn’t painted in a long time). I’d love to sell some of my work online, I’ve never looked in to Etsy but this video made me really want to try it out. You are so helpful, so beautiful, so motivating and inspiring. I’m so glad I found your channel.
Foam board!! Yes!! I had a watercolor arrive to my mother super bent despite my "do not bend" stickers all over an "extra rigid" mailer! I even wrapped the painting in some plastic in case it got wet! Arrrgh. I am using foam board from now on! Thank you!!! ❤️

When a video is off very extraordinary help, I try to have it running when I do other things in another room, because I really like to support the invested UA-camrs and their channels as I cannot afford supporting in a larger and more direct financial way.

I am so thrilled you sold so many pieces. For me, I am excited that I was able to order and afford an original piece. I love your bigger pieces, but they aren't in my budget right now. So it's definitely an advantage for you to sell your sketches. Clearly we love them as well!

Hello Katie, I will be falling on maternity leave soon for the next year annd I was hoping to use some of my time off work to start an Etsy shop. If you are doing a video explaing how to sell on Etsy I have a few questions. First how do you think most of your buyers find your shop? Would you say it's mostly because of social media? If so which platform would you recommend and what tips and tricks did you use to make it big (apart from being incredibly talented of course). Also how do you go about pricing you're art? Is shipping from the UK expensive to? Do you find it easier to sell paintings done on certain mediums, like stretch canvas vs paper. Also how do you package a stretch canvas? Which countries seem to be buying the most on Etsy? I have plenty more questions but I'll keep it at that for now lol thank you for sharing, and you are truly wonderful! 🌸💗

Hi Katie, lovely video as always.. Very calming ☺️.. I have a question which is really for my art group as some of us would like to make prints, or cards of our art. One of the ladies tried to do her nativity scene through Boots but it didn’t work out well.. Do you do prints of your art, or just sell the original? If so, a video of how to do it or what paper/card you would use to print on would be great.. Thanks so much x

Have you had any issues with water damage?
I'm still trying to work out the best way to send my original paintings to people, but use as little plastic as possible. Do you ever use plastic sleeves?
Where do you get your packaging supplies? Amazon? Also I know you’re in the uk so my next question isn’t relevant but one thing that has been scaring me to start selling my art is shipping, like how much it costs etc. you’re videos are inspiring me to build my portfolio though so once I finally open my store I’ll have lots to sell 😂

Hello! I happened to find your channel while in preparation of launching my art market on Etsy and am getting good information but still having tons of questions. How do you maintain your copies of reproduction? Mines are mostly canvas work so I can't order too many due to the space issue and budget as well. How do you estimate and maintain your inventory?
Love these behind the scenes vlogs! I do have a question for you for the Etsy video. I haven't started selling my original artworks yet because I'm trying to work out the logistics of selling prints. It's so tricky with the photography, editing, and getting the quality & colors just right. But when I think of just focusing on selling originals, I'm worried that wouldn't work because I'm not a fast painter. It takes me at least a month to finish a new painting.
I've noticed that you sell only originals in your shop, not ever prints. Why is that? Do you find prints too much of a hassle or not worth the return of time invested? What do you think of drop shipping & POD services?
I loved this ! Those packages look so neat and exciting to open ❤ As for my question : I have been painting small pieces maybe around the size of the little blue roses that you put on a form board. I have been getting requested to sell, at that moment was not ready to but now that I'm considering I'm very doubtful cuz the painting would probably be quite cheap compared to the shipping fee. And small too. How is your experience in that regard? Do ppl often buy small pieces from abroad, even when it costs less than the shipping fee?
