At ~14:00 you say that you can't jump down further because you'll die, but it's actually a survivable shortcut towards the boss if you jump onto the ledge correctly.

vs bloodhound knight, jump and R2/RT. all its abilities except 1 of them are horizontal. that way you'll always dodge and R2/RT staggers it.

Using a strike weapon ie club or mace is very effective versus crystalians
Pro tip: you can two shot the Royal Revenant with healing incantation
Great minds think alike. I was just about to post, "2-3 back to back lowest level group heals should probably take care of that boss. I had an intuition heals would work on them from prior Dark Souls games. I tried it in Shaded Castle, and it worked brilliantly. Then I bought a note from a merchant. Note: "The crawling royal revenants and their followers are all cursed. Healing powers will harm rather than mend." Like tunnel miners the Crystallians are extremely resistant to all melee damage except strike/blunt damage. I put Wild Strikes AoW on my Morningstar spiked mace before I went in there, and continually stunlocked those 2 bosses. They were dead in 2 minutes with very little damage to me or my summons.
BIG TIP: Try to use a Blunt weapon like a hammer against crystals/object/or skells , for a huge dmg boost ...with a hammer even on just +4 those crystal dudes go down after 4 strong hits ...or otherwise , never ,ever use a sword or sword type against stone/object/bone types ,except you love fighting 600% longer :P ...ps:thx for the hidding door location , saw the upway but wasnt able to find it by my own ^^"

That Revenant you fought gets immediately thrown on its ass if you cast a Heal spell in the same nautical mile as it.

This game is just like dark souls. They are terrible. I hate the fighting its choppy and fat at the same time. I hate the bland dead atmosphere. It is like an empty room on a 2d map of dungeons and dragons. Skyrim dark souls. But no character has a routine.

When you say the fighting is choppy and fat it makes me think you are fat rolling or since we are referencing skyrim, overencumbered. Which means your equip load is too high, fat rolling will make the game feel like that. Secondly the game is literally full of life, enemies can be found everywhere so I don't understand the statement it is like an empty room. Every character has a routine in this game, souls games are rhythm based games, you memorize timings, tells, and such until it looks like your performing a dance with certain bosses. Also for the atmosphere, I can completely see where your coming from there, but in my experience of the game, that adds to the feeling. In souls games you are just a dude facing monstrous creatures and to me it adds to that atmosphere. All in all you're completely allowed to not like souls games, because not everyone has to like a game. I just hope my comment has in some way changed your mind to at least give it more of a chance. And maybe one day git gud
