21 IP, .43 ERA, .476 WHIP, 92.1% cWPA ... It was the greatest pitching performance in October that i've ever seen and i couldn't even believe what i was watching. The entire Royals stadium went quiet when Bumgarner came out of the Bullpen. Everyone knew the game was over at that point.
I believe we will see something that great again in World Series play. What Madison did was amazing. As a lifelong giants fan? I still get goosebumps over his performance y
@@tristantaylor3056Learn ball Smoltz does not compare to Bum in Playoffs, Bum lead the Giants to a WS in 2014 as their only good starter. In 2012 he was masterful and same for 2010. Smoltz didn’t win 3 WS like Bum. Bum also had 1 run given up in his WS career he never lost a WS with terrible rosters, look at 2012, and 2014! They even swept one of the greatest put together teams ever, the 2012 tigers!! Smoltz is not as good as Bum in October he doesn’t compare. Watchin Bum gives me chills do me a favor and don’t disrespect the great one. You are a casual, bandwagon.
He was in a different kind of groove in the 2014 post season, it was intimidating to watch him even as a die hard Giants fan! That game 7 will never be forgotten
In his 2 series starts, Bumgarner went 2-0 with an 0.56 ERA In the other five games of this series, the Giants starters not named Bumgarner went 0-3 with a 9.35 ERA. The one game SF won which he did not throw a pitch they had to score 11 runs
If you want someone to pitch for you in October you want Madison Bumgarner. As a dodger fan I’m envious of y’all having a guy like that and competent manager.
That shot from below of Mad Bum entering Game 7 from the bullpen is legendary. A+ cinematography
I was looking for that clip after a while of not seeing it
We'll likely never see this again. Man he's really badass huh.
Doesn’t seem likely that we’ll ever see a performance like that again. Only been 6 years but pitching staffs are handled completely different.

Seems like such a rarity when a starter goes 5+ now ... if they even use a starter at all.
I believe we will see something that great again in World Series play.

Greatest starting pitcher in MLB postseason history
That’s John Smoltz…. But this WS performance was legendary

@@tristantaylor3056sorry but madbum has a better ERA through way more innings while having more WS wins.

This man said "get on my back. Ill take us there".
Kevin cash would’ve pulled him after the 2nd time through the lineup
Analytics 😂

The greatest postseason pitcher of all time, literally carried us
I’ll never forget how bad Peavy was, especially in game 6
never gets old…goosebumps everytime…
As much as I hate the Giants, they really earned and deserved this championship. What a performance!
Best OCTOBER PITCHER OF ALL TIME:)
I'm a Giants fan what Bumgarner did in WS2014 Bum is the greatest postseason pitcher in history so good
Dominated that series. Best player on the field.
That our boy from my hometown of hickory let's goooo
as soon as he walked out that bullpen in game 7 that was literally an “im him” moment
Hard to top Bums performance for number one all things considered!
The pitch and the reaction from Billy Butler always makes me laugh. "It's not even fair" indeed.
Mad Bum didn’t give a crap about pitch count, he cared about winning the game

the diamondbacks need Mad Bum to save their lives.
its like clint eastwood decided to play baseball.
Its the greatest WS performance by a pitcher ever IMO
Madison bumgarner, Cliff Lee, and Mariano Rivera are the best post season pitchers I've ever seen.
A complete game shutout in the owrld series is insane
pitching 9 fucking innings and then coming out couple of days later to close out. insane. 20+ IP in a week!
"The gate has opened in the Giants' bullpen and Madison Bumgarner makes his entrance"
Royals fans must have shit themselves haha
Bumgarner was inevitable in that series. The man had an aura. It seemed impossible for him to fail.
Dazzling and he was the best on the planet. He made 'em look foolish.
Magnificent!!!
The single greatest performance in World Series history
It’s 10 years ago. just like yesterday
Giants 4 Life !!
I was there!!!
The BUM
why is this 360p?
Man gregor blanco was so underrated
