Hi. I just love your videos. I’ve learned a lot with them. I’m over 70 and I began to draw for about 4 years ago. “It’s never too late”😊. Yes, you’re right, it hasn’t to be perfect, important is just have fun.
Wow, I had to pause this video to write down "The bad art is what you climb on to get to the good art", inspired by what you said. Thank you so much for your inspirational words :)
When I was a kid I used to just draw and paint. As an adult now working on a video game (as a hobby), I've lost the ability to put pencil to paper and create any game art! Arghh. I love your method for mentally separating the creative and the critic!! This has changed my outlook so thank you!
Damn Google algorithm is doing its job so well it's almost magic. just had this convo with a friend who told me almost the same things a few hours ago. Thanks :)
Thank goodness I’ve never had a lost of ideas where I can’t create something. When I’m stuck I go back to where I started and refresh my mind to get a recharge. I’m a big kid at heart and never lost my sense of humor so I create for me from the view point of having fun and exploring my potential. This allows me to create stuff that surprises me.
Hey Danny, once again: THANK YOU SO MUCH! This video again is so helpful. Especially the idea with the two rooms for creative part and the critic. I love your videos and all the ideas you share!🙏🏼🙃❤
I get much from your encouraging words to the point that I have started the doodle of the day, what a change . Sometimes it’s a couple of days. I see something that inspires me and I begin to draw and if I have to capture it on my phone, so what, I can work on it, if I feel like it. What a game changer calling what I enjoy doing “doodling.”The same thing I did in my childhood. So thanks!
I am really glad I found you 😊 thank you so much for being the inspiration for alot of art lovers ❤ I wish to draw better and I believe I will be able to do it because of your help so thanks once again 😄
Thank you very much, I feel as though my judge is so wounded and upholding this identity of potential that they’ll always prevent me from being fulfilled.
This video reminds me of the book that you wrote, The Creative License : Giving Yourself Permission To Be The Artist You Truly Are. Seems to be an extension of it. Love that vibe. ( Also that book changed my life when I read it as a younger person.) This video was a big help.❤
Thanks for your channel Mr. Danny! Making work in series, not only gives you lots of practice, but it helps to work out the issues you like or don’t like. Or, maybe send you in a completely different direction.
As Picasso said once............... It took me 60 years to paint like a child.!
True!

All great advice, but I think the most important one is to have fun with what you're doing. Otherwise, why do it?
Exactamundo!
Can somebody define 'fun' please. I'm having problems with that lately 😬 However, I do know how to go to work. Sadly.
How to build self confidence?......nothing scared the living daylight off me than showing my drawings to some random people...
