Don't think he went out of scale,I think Jerry's voice suppressed him for that part, maybe some technical fault happened like Jerry's mic sound increased or maybe they were unable to harmonize for just that part, happens in live shows but still the boys nailed the whole show.
He is a bad singer.

Ya know something guys, as much as Layne will always be the best singer this band will ever have, hate me for this, DuVall has some talent! He’s really stepped up to the plate, he makes good use of the Talent he has, obviously he could never replace Layne, that’s literally impossible, his voice was a gift from god, but DuVall really fits in well, much better than I thought!

Willie joined AIC in 06 and is AIC. If you know AIC history you know how much Jerry loved Layne and would never attempt to replace Layne. Willie has done an amazing job as the frontman and sound’s phenomenal. Jerry would never allow someone unfit to sing for AIC. I don’t understand the hate Willie constantly gets.

AIC - minha banda favorita, mas tem muitas bandas nesse festival então é normal que uma parte da plateia fique mais de boa, pelo menos não fizeram como no Rock in Rio de 2001 em que ficaram durante todo o show do QOTSA gritando Sepultura que encerrou aquela noite do festival.

I wonder if Alice has any leftover songs from the first 2 albums that’s unreleased that can possibly make it on the next album with Willie singing?? They probably had material that was deleted from the albums.Even if layne wrote the lyrics his next of Kin get the publishing.
From videos i saaw Duvall now sings a llot better the original band's songs. But I love this moment at 38:39 he sings out of tune and that look to Jerry after ^^

I hate to say it, but the Rock Am Ring show in 2006 was better. They are playing slower, and the sound is muffled. The lackluster crowd doesn't help. It's good, but I expected better.
