- Hi everyone, I'm back, with new monster hunter fan art, this time actually a project from a client, but I got the permission to record and upload the time lapse process.
This time actually kinda different from previous speed sculpt video, for posing process I pose the lowpoly mesh, so the final posed version can be seen realtime on link :

I need to know your secret, THAT LOOKS AMAZING. I don't know how you retopo in the end of the video, it looks pretty clean.
It's a feature of ZBrush - it keeps the low-poly version at all times, so that you can go back to posing or rig it, and either return to the high-poly version for rendering, or export it as normalmaps/bumpmaps for low-poly realtime animation.
man even at such speed it still took 16 mins for this video. This must have taken forever to do by yourself.

I'm an architecture major and this industry part of my undergrad thesis project (covering different forms of classic and modern feilds of visual arts).
I always thought that this field evolved from the major of 'BA-Sculpting' like in Bachelor of Arts in Painting whereas they tackle traditional medium on the first year then move to Digital arts in the later years, IS THIS THE CASE? PLEASE I NEED ANSWERS. or is it completely separate...?

paul far i persume when u mention my spelling you are refering to the word colour ? as ime from the u.k then i will point out it is spelt correct as apposed to the u.s version which drops the silent u as they do in several other words. clearly u dont know the difference's .

I'm curious, I noticed that each part of the model was a subtool, did you merge them afterwards, if so how did you keep the subdivision-levels and the textures?

How did you skip the unwrapping and retoplogy processes ?
When the mesh is created in zbrush, if you optimize it with zremesher and open it with UV Master, there is not much left to retopology. I'm guessing there is such a workflow. Then he gives details and bake the model

I would have liked to have seen the video slow down at certain points… there were some moments where you were sculpting intricate detail, and it went so quickly I couldn't see how you did it!
I bet any T-rex is envious about Tigrex's arms. Also please consider telling in desc. how much time it takes to do such a model. It means a lot for me.
