What I love about this is he utilizes Zbrush's already good lighting and rendering system. There's no Keyshot, V-Ray, Arnold, any of that. Just good old fashioned sculpting and painting by hand followed by well placed lights and cleaned up with Photoshop.
Does anyone know the name of the song which starts at 4:45? I know this tune, but for the life of me I can't remember it's name. And the description also doesn't show its name either

How long did this take you? This is incredible. Also how did you add the scales at 2:50 ?
He added the texture to the 3D model. Probably done with Substance Painter
He used alphas inside of zbrush, there is no substance used in this lol. Purely Zbrush and then photoshop for compositing.
You're right, i figured it out later after i commented lol
I figured it was alphas, but did he use Noisemaker or go through the entire mesh by hand?
Just a drag rect for smaller details, the larger scales were by hand.
I couldn't find it on gnomon workshops. What's the name of this workshop?
did you applie that texture map from zbrush?
