People are stupid like that, the parents of the Australian baby who was eaten by a dingo are still called murderers even after the DNA evidence proved otherwise. They served jail time too before the evidence exonerated them, they made a movie about their innocence and people still said she just killed her baby. Sad
my understanding is that the feds did nothing wrong.....other than letting it slip that as a matter of procedure they were looking in to everyone involved, which includes the supposed hero, because they didn't have a suspect. Well, the media ran wild with that and basically concocted an entire fictional story. Due to the debacle it turned in to, the feds changed policy on what and how they relay information to the press. The feds gave them an inch, but the unscrupulous media ran a mile with it.
mindeloman when Jewells attorney called the FBI office to speak with Jewell and tell him to get out of there he was told Jewell was not there. And then compared those numbers with the numbers Hellary was getting, or more accurately wasn't getting in contrast. And people called me a fool & everything else & I'd just respond, "wait and see". Exactly! I heard somewhere people think of the tv and the personalities that they are gods! That’s the real joke, these people are the most insecure and unrealistic people in the world. They think they are above everyone, no empathy or even good reporting. Find good sources of podcast where people talk with common sense and keep it very real. You must be the only one because nothing has changed with the big channels that’s why independent pod cast has become so reliable and even entertaining. They talk with common sense and empathy about all sides. I don’t even turn in my TV anymore and neither do my kids, so tv reporting may be dying down. Social media is the same so you have to find good reporting, big channels report the same thing every day, After 2 weeks of exactly the same reporting... I unsubscribed from them. If I kept listening I would think the world will end in 12 years and I would die from the virus if I stepped outside. They are a joke....

it wasn't until 2006 the Georgia Governor finally thanked Richard Jewell for saving all those people. Unfortunately, he died in 2007, at least he was alive to see his heroism being acknowledged by his state
Being falsely accused of something you didn't do is horrible. The emotional and mental abuse you suffer at the incompetence, ignorance, and/or lies of others, as well as your own thoughts and eagerness to prove your innocents, is so destructive and has a continuing destructive rippling effect throughout your life. The word Hero gets used so flippantly today. Even actual criminals are called heroes in some communities. This man was a true hero. For real. And just a truly good and kind person. It was criminal what was done to this man.

Most people old enough to remember the arrest of Eric Rudolph know the story. It just took law enforcement years to find him after naming him the primary suspect. He hid out in the North Carolina woods for years. Just an important story to tell because the media has been up to their same tricks.

He's a hero. For standing up to the thugs who put his name in the mud.....GOD BLESS

my understanding is that the feds did nothing wrong.....other than letting it slip that as a matter of procedure they were looking in to everyone involved, which includes the supposed hero, because they didn't have a suspect.
I got unfriended by most of those same people LOL
