Their love story impacted me so much. I am a Filipina in a relationship with a French man. And after watching the series my love for my boyfriend grew even more. Tembi’s love for Saro inspired me to be more stronger. Zoe and Eugenio’s portrayals were amazing.
I am soo happy to see beautiful intelligent black woman being screen writers, I watched this series knowing it was based on a book but didn’t know it actually was based on real life story. I absolutely loved but cried a lot. I also told all my sisters and friends to watch. I am also watching again with my daughter.
Man! Wife and I cried so much watching this show, wonderfully put together ❤️
This unconditional love is so powerful. Just finished the series. Tears still in my eyes. Tembi, you and all your family are wonderful people. Stay blessed.
The Netflix series was so good. The mrs & I were weeping at episode 7 😅
Unexpectedly, this book was one of my fave from a couple of years ago. Glad to see it come to the screen guided by many intrinsically vested hands/hearts.
I opened a bookstore and recently discovered this book, I started watching the series not even realizing it was based on the book.
Watched this and couldn't stop watching, loved it!! Very beautiful
This story made me cry so much...like someone I know actually died.....the series was truly awesome
Such a great series. It’s so emotional but I can’t wait to read the book to cry some more 😂
I have read the book and understand this situation a lot. My dad was staioned in Sicily during WWII. And since I am also mixed race along with aunts from Europe and an Indeginous mom from Georgia(USA) I do get it. I also love multicultural history and ancient history because the ancient world was racially mixed and this is something that I embraced from my childhood. My mom was a history educator( and so was I)and my dad worked with soliders from all over the world during WWII and after. We are all of gods children for sure.
Attica is very easy to listen to…very passionate and expressive
Just finished. Superb series. And Attica is the definition of true sisterhood.
This Interview was such a treat!
I cried 2 episodes straight watching this series 😂
I watched this beautiful series twice. Such an amazing love story ❤️ I pray that one day I'll find my true love 💗
Such a beautiful story of LOVE!
The series absolutely broke me 😢 must watch ❤❤❤❤❤
This was such a wonderful movie...just now watching it❤
Their love story touch me. My husband and I have similar story.
Simply Beautiful 😍.
Hmmm, I'm empathetic to Cole, but he blatantly lied about reaching out to her in other interviews, so it makes me question his integrity, now. I agree that he didn't deserve that much vitriol at the wedding and they could have resolved their issues in a more positive and compassionate way.
