My friend just files her 2020 taxes and they have a question says “did you receive your stimulus check?” She marked. Yes, when she submitted her 2020 tax it took out the return amount she received. It happened to her daughter too. I thought that the stimulus was to help people? I kept hearing that the stimulus was not supposed to be taken out of your return?

They file their taxes, but lost that they are filed as a dependant on their parents taxes. Will they get a check? If not, will we get a check for them? So it's all going in one bill so they can pass it with 51-50 votes. If Rs would play ball and actually get things passed then these things wouldn't happen. Yes, and sadly it will come in the form of a tax rebate credit so if you owe taxes it will just credit against the amount you owe. Not a stimulus as it was before 😡 1:00
