I believe using AI fully automate the generation of podcast clips is alright as there is still emotion shown by the people in the podcast, and the variety/topic of each podcast clip usually is significantly different from one another, so the content can get monetized. But yes I do agree with this video, when making other forms of content using AI, it just dosent hit the same compared to similar content not made by AI. AI is a tool, and one tool isnt going to do the whole job. For example, a hammer can help significantly when building a table but you still need to screws to put in or the hammer is useless, just like how AI can help get the thumbnail, title, description, and editing together but you still need the foundation or the key idea/human touch in order for the whole video to come together.
I had AI generate a script for me on a topic and the video did terrible. I shifted to have AI do some of the descriptions in my existing script, and found those sections are skipped in my videos. So, I’m just going with what works on my basic outline and personal, anecdotal commentary.
That comment about similar content goes against their rules of podcasts though unless they're figuring our podcasts are different because of the daily stories. They tell us to just use a picture if we need to.
I’m not far from giving up. I love making videos, and writing music. But when you have people around you who need your attention, it gets hard. Like dragging a dead star behind you.
Gen 1 maybe but Gen 3 not so much the problem really become a point of saturation where UA-cam servers will not be able to keep up with all the data, so something will have to give.
Some of the examples were playlists, meditation, and relax videos. I don't what to think, eventualy you end up using your own formula, your own template.
I've tried letting AI write scripts for videos before, but it doesn't do a great job. Like you said, it misses human touch and emotion.. Also, I make comedy videos and AI definitely misses a sense of humor😂
Hard work pays off only if consistent with ur approach towards your niche..I’ve been going almost 3yrs on mine but we do all our own stuff..cheers all!!
So does UA-cam, cause they do nothing but shoving the same in your face. It is so boring...I have more and more difficulty staying on UA-cam and gone to other platforms
Yep, experimented a bit with AI and whilst it can write a perfectly good script and generate the AI voice perfectly, it's like watching an office training video from the 1980s. 😅 I've since started either editing a script based on the original AI script and using that script, or just going "rogue" and basing what I say on a broad plan. I mean, my winging-it can't be too bad - I've charged corporates thousands for workshops where my presentations are basically me winging it for an hour. And before you ask, the feedback has been 10/10! Right now, I'm bringing my expertise to YT and providing real value to my viewers. I also like keeping it raw because people then get to know the real me but also I love the sound of my own voice. ;)
Reason why that occurs it has no voice map because the computer doesn't yet understand what sounds human but there substitution programs where you can add your voice to existing tracks such as song or speeches that do give better results but it is early days so as mention many times it only going to get better.
I used chatgpt to write up a whole video. But then I put passion into it. I made it mine I made it connect and make sense. It was a great video. Because I didn’t just copy and paste it. I just used it as a aid. But I can’t catch a break. Even when my subscribers get ecstatic about a video and they genuinely love it. UA-cam won’t bring in new viewers so it’s like I’m just making the best videos for my subscribers and not growing at all. I’ve always known there is something weird going on with my channel but being small means I don’t have anyone directly at UA-cam to ask about this. I don’t have any service that look at my channel and help me figure it out. I’m left to find out on my own. What happens when you can’t figure it out? Then you end up stuck with an unsolved problem. It stinks.
Like everything else, AI in moderation and used correctly to aid and guide ideas is a no brainer. But I do agree there is Nothing that can match the human touch, human connection and human emotion that an individual emotes when creating their own content. Oh, and I signed up for vidIQ Pro plan today, SO STOKED!
Atentos, creadores. No arriesguéis vuestro canal, la pasión que transmitís, la esencia humana de vuestra comunicación y la dejéis en manos de la Inteligencia Artificial. Este vídeo lo explica perfectamente. Gracias a @VidIQ por su trabajo.
The fact that people thought A.I. could actually be the same as a real person is just mind boggling. People don't want automated videos they want to see real people sharing what they are passionate about.
To be honest thats what i thought but ive seen a lot of revolting AI history or science videos often with misinformation getting tonnes of likes and comments, unaware that its Ai 🤢🤮
Hey Dan, god info! My goal however is not to monetize my videos but simply to get better quality leads for my business. In your opinion, is it ok to use my cloned voice for say one third of the video? The rest of the video will have my own voice with intonation and emotion. Would sincerely appreciate your take on this. Thanks.
Thanks for this video. I am finding exactly the same thing. I took the script to ai after watching a video. Ai insisted on changing significant ideas. After an hr I reverted to my original script happily.
This vdo has been so important coz we were planning to do next vdo through AI. Now we have got good tips for the future vdos minus AI, thanks vidIq team ! 😊😊
Thanks it has been a challenge whether AI or Human Created Content everyone is sliding into YOU TUBE and at the end of the day, it is you and your specific audience, yes, you may have some similar audiences as your competition, but at the end of the day, for example, maybe you like to Scuba Dive and eat Italian Food, and the other creator Likes to Sky Dive and Eat Latin Foods, the point is that everyone is Unique and humans will connect harder with a Unique Person who relates to them, but, be forewarned, that AI can replicate anything, even Human behavior as it gets smarter and smarter, some people might think the person talking is Ai. Peace and Love.
I hate the Ai video's , next is CGI coming and gone is realness...we need new platforms with actual information again and authenticity, that prohibits AI creation ! It is paid well for a reason, to promote transhumanism. I watch less and less UA-cam..I am oversaturated with the content that is not authentic ...I'm more on Rumble and other private platforms now. I never grew for a reason... and many of my video's been removed and they take even a big chunk of your money ...They actually promote mindless content
About the recurring content thing: if i always upload gameplay videos of a trading card game (MTG, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!) where i change the deck I'm playing but only that, would that be considered recurring content? Technically it shouldn't but a clarification would help
I wrote my script and then copied and pasted it into Chat GPT and Chat re-wrote it based on my ideas. It's up to me to further re-write it into my own words or totally scrap it if it doesn't make sense. I think trying to do AI in bulk might be an issue though. - keep in mind that AI is still limited and it's not perfect.
The channels that are selling (not literally of course) A.I. are selling something similar to a dream. It’s like an end-all magical solution to make creation or whatever they’re doing easier. But, anyone who’s been doing UA-cam long enough knows that it’s never that easy. Videos take time and you have to be authentic because that’s how you connect with your audience. Unless of course you’re a robot running a robot channel, ain’t nothing more authentic than being a robot in that case 😂
I think the problem is that there is a very large audience out there who will settle for very generic, very repetitive and very predictable content. I can see AI potentially taking over completely in some niches, especially those in which people are looking for an echo chamber of the same information over and over.
Guys i ve been uploading on my channel(the one im commenting from) quite a bit and like suddenly ive noticed the last two days my channel has jus lost all its traction idk whats goin on jus not getting views out of the blue and imma trynna figure it out rn!
AI is great for making draft title ideas and you refine it from there! Also, AI generated images are great for thumbnails but you’ll need to add your flare or use bits and pieces so in the end, the human touch still makes it better
Hi everyone 👋 great video, thank you😄 I totally agree with the video. I also think A.I can be good to help you with many things, for your videos, but it is only help, you have to put your SOUL, your STYLE in it. A.I never gonna be as good as humans in interacting with each other...😊💪
How do I keep my audience hooked in the intro, I don’t not know how to start. I also have not uploaded a long video. I am trying to be a successful gaming channel.
vidIQ, i have to thank you so much for helping me reach 100 subscribers. i've used all advice you've given me and it honestly helped a ton. Cheers vidIQ!
Just a scary fact: after about 50 years we will give tasks to A.I. and we won't even know how they did it, and after about 100 years A.I. will complete different tasks that we didn't ask them to do
i would not recommend youtube automation and do not believe this people on youtube telling you how to make money using it, I know they will show analytics and stuffs but thats not true youtube shorts pay around 0.04 cents per 1000 views which means you will get around 4$ for 100k views, I've tried it myself on my monetised channel, it got demonetized after 2 days of uploading because of copyright.
I myself run an AI based channel and yes I can pretty much confirm that work is alot easier. You don't have to do much work. AI based channels are the future of UA-cam. Mark my words!
I wish AI channels never worked out on UA-cam. I don't mean any offense but all I am saying is that the ppl who work hard should be prioritized . Ppl like me who are consistent and hardworking deserve better . However AI created videos are going to destroy the channels of those working hard too . I hope u know what I'm trying to say ...
As far as AI is used as a tool to improve videos and editing, I think everything is perfectly fine.I also watch shorts and videos and quickly swipe away whenever its an AI video, I mean the video needs to have an emotional touch and some other screens too rather than sticking to a single pic screen narrating the whole video topic. Some tools are good to use, some are not that useful,it all depends on the kind of videos, creators are making Thank you for your guidance, VidIq.🙏😀
I've just recently started using the vidIQ AI coach. Before, I was heavily against AI uses due to negative experiences. The way I use it is to get "analytical" ideas, suggestions and opinions, while I hammer them with deeper questions. I take it away as an additional stepping stone on a puddle, so I won't need to take big and risky leaps often. I have so far never used any AI text one to one, always changed some things up by myself how I deemed it fit. The lack of humanity aspect of this whole thing is the main reason why I want to be the one being in control. That aside, the tools have helped me a lot. During one of my sessions with exchanging ideas, I have come up with somethimg great that I was missing!
When I saw these videos on YT how to create complete content using AI, I felt futile with my videos 1x a week. sometimes I wondered if I should also go for 100% automation, but I thought to myself, everyone will do it, it will just be a pile of garbage, even though it may be shiny! Thanks for this video, I know I'm on the right way, keep showing it to us....
yes, yes, yes. You are so right. AI Doesn't have the human touch. I have been plodding away for months but yet still no results. I will keep pushing. I have broken my goals into bitable chunks. First 50 subs, 100 subs, 150, so on. Keep pushing guys, you will make it.
I'm so sick of all these AI channels. All using the same dude. All about the military. All pretty lame. Just endless attempts by UA-cam to shovel them to me.
Idea for the live streams. Add a section where you can add some info on what you want to find out or any questions about your channel you would like to answer
VidIQ love your content ♥️, I have a question what do you think about blogging, Can we write blogs using AI, I mean it should have human touch in blogs So Can we also make blog with AI and with human, kindly answer Thanks 👍
awesome video, i agree as a tool AI is useful, but really we must not let it take over our creativity - otherwise your reason for creating would be flawed, but to use it to help and inspire our creative thoughts is certainly the way to go.
Thank you for bringing this video. I hope that SkyNet will not rise and we won't be in war with machines. ChatGPT can be used for gathering information not for creativity. I request UA-cam to keep it human. Thanks VidIQ for bringing this out and not supporting AI.
I started using chat gpt to help grow my channel in the beginning, it gave me tag ideas and different ways to title videos ect, but I found early that if I solely relied on chat gpt my views wouldn't be as good. so instead I used chat gpt to learn how I could title and tag my videos for myself and now I don't really used chat gpt and my channel is growing at a healthy rate
I wanted to start a channel so bad but I don't have a mic or even my own place to record so I turned to text to speech. My goal is to get a decent enough setup so that I can record properly. Everything I do is still pretty much manual like writing scripts and creating thumbnails. I enjoy them both, even video editing to some extent. I'm still not sure if this is gonna work. I just don't wanna be held back by not being able to record.
There should be a plugin that blocks AI content. Nothing is worse than hearing an AI voice droning on while reading a ChatGPT script.

I’m not far from giving up. I love making videos, and writing music. But when you have people around you who need your attention, it gets hard.
Like dragging a dead star behind you.
AI may help UA-cam get videos in front of the right viewers but it will not help creators be lazy! Lazy content will have minimal results
Gen 1 maybe but Gen 3 not so much the problem really become a point of saturation where UA-cam servers will not be able to keep up with all the data, so something will have to give.
very helpful
Some of the examples were playlists, meditation, and relax videos. I don't what to think, eventualy you end up using your own formula, your own template.
I've tried letting AI write scripts for videos before, but it doesn't do a great job. Like you said, it misses human touch and emotion.. Also, I make comedy videos and AI definitely misses a sense of humor😂
Hard work pays off only if consistent with ur approach towards your niche..I’ve been going almost 3yrs on mine but we do all our own stuff..cheers all!!
*"They want to discourage creators from producing mindless or monotonous content."*
TikTok wants to have a word with you.
I've since started either editing a script based on the original AI script and using that script, or just going "rogue" and basing what I say on a broad plan.
Can i use AI for SEO for youtube?
Use AI in some parts like grammar correction and rephrasing but not in the whole video . Thanks for sharing.
Nope wrong
To be honest thats what i thought but ive seen a lot of revolting AI history or science videos often with misinformation getting tonnes of likes and comments, unaware that its Ai 🤢🤮
You'll be shocked keep thinking that way.
The MOST important thing is to humanize your videos before monetization!
Thanks.
1:25 Casey rocks! 👍
I’m pushing through the feeling to quit. I’m just struggling spending 25/30+hrs editing to get 100 views.
Great vid as always! I was considering using AI in all aspects of my video, and I'm glad I didn't, would have been just a waste of time.
VidIQ does help listen to what they are saying 💙
I hope UA-cam Make The Right Desction And For People That Want To be in YPP
i feel like vidiq videos have really increased in quality, good job!
Also, AI generated images are great for thumbnails but you’ll need to add your flare or use bits and pieces so in the end, the human touch still makes it better
hate ai channels, they should be banned straight away
I agree passion and enthusiasm is contagious
Hi everyone 👋 great video, thank you😄
I totally agree with the video. I also think A.I can be good to help you with many things, for your videos, but it is only help, you have to put your SOUL, your STYLE in it.
A.I never gonna be as good as humans in interacting with each other...😊💪
True!
I knew it was a bad idea to rely on ai. It's not something to do in the first place.
I have a question. is it even Worth it putting a description on shorts, I usually add 20-30 tags on my video
Awesome! Time to reach to 1000 subs!
Check out this video:

@@vidIQ Thanks!
Because of VidIQ, my subscribers have reached 92,800 🎉😂
AI sucks imo. You can't even distinct what's real and what's not nowadays...
You still got me on ur side
yes, yes, yes. You are so right. AI Doesn't have the human touch. I have been plodding away for months but yet still no results. I will keep pushing. I have broken my goals into bitable chunks. First 50 subs, 100 subs, 150, so on. Keep pushing guys, you will make it.
To teach and learn at a faster pace is the new milioniom and to stay up todate and ahead of the competition is the gain.😊
Recently my channel has been growing but I don’t get much engagement on my videos am I doing anything wrong
I'm so sick of all these AI channels. All using the same dude. All about the military. All pretty lame. Just endless attempts by UA-cam to shovel them to me.
Idea for the live streams. Add a section where you can add some info on what you want to find out or any questions about your channel you would like to answer
Exactly my thoughts. Using new upgraded tools are good. But we can't let it consume us.
Just got accepted into YPP today! LETS GOOOOOOOO!
The only thing i use AI for is for description and title
VidIQ love your content ♥️, I have a question what do you think about blogging, Can we write blogs using AI, I mean it should have human touch in blogs So Can we also make blog with AI and with human, kindly answer Thanks 👍
I hate AI generated channels won't watch them ..I won't even let them slide I request no interest do not show again.
awesome video, i agree as a tool AI is useful, but really we must not let it take over our creativity - otherwise your reason for creating would be flawed, but to use it to help and inspire our creative thoughts is certainly the way to go.
I made a comment that put UA-cam in a bad light, no fowl language of any kind, and they deleted it - what a platform.
Thank you for bringing this video. I hope that SkyNet will not rise and we won't be in war with machines. ChatGPT can be used for gathering information not for creativity. I request UA-cam to keep it human. Thanks VidIQ for bringing this out and not supporting AI.
Does that mean history channels will not be monetized? Really we are using AI but creating something new. Hope you explain.
Hi vidIQ, would my content on my channel be eligible for monetization because I don't know if my content is "repetitive and monotonous"
