Salmon and shrimp puff pastry

  • Ingredients
    1 rectangular puff pastry or 2 puff pastries to make a large puff pastry
    300 grs of salmon
    100 grams of shrimp
    2 leeks
    150 grs of fresh cheese
    1 tbsp of olive oil
    Salt, pepper
    1 egg yolk (for the glaze)
    Wash and slice the leeks
    Fry them in a pan with the oil
    Once cooked, soft, let them cool, salt and pepper
    Cut the salmon into pieces
    In a pan add oil and cook the salmon, add salt and pepper
    Once cooked, let them cool

    Peel the shrimp
    Unroll the puff pastry and spread the cream cheese in the middle and along the entire length
    Add the leeks
    Add the salmon and shrimp
    Brush one side with egg yolk
    Close the dough
    Brush the top of the dough
    I added slices of preserved lemon for decoration
    Put in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes at 180 degrees

    Cool idea, but I feel like the salmon and shrimp will get overcooked if you give them anything, but a super quick sear before it goes into the pastry

      They were well cooked... I put the oven on low heat so that they had time to cook with the dough and mix the flavors 😊
