What a marvelous version of the song! Probably my favorite video game ED song. I still remember listening to it the first time after beating the game, and getting assaulted by ninjas cutting onions 😢
I'm sorry but I was wondering why I can never find this song on streaming music platforms. It's my favourite song and I couldn't find out what happened.
No, China is not involved here. It's true that Japan was influenced by China, but Japanese and Chinese sounds are completely different. Okami is a Japanese mythical story and there is no point in giving it a Chinese flavor. Especially in songs with Japanese themes like this, they never use Chinese sounds. Japanese and Chinese can understand and hear the difference between Chinese and Japanese sounds. But Westerners may not be able to tell the difference.
@@novrinkov0053 ...... what??? yeah no shit this game is a Japanese myth story sherlock, dude this comment was so unnecessary it came off arrogant and honestly low key racist. an erhu is just an instrument and can be used fr any piece if they wanted regardless japanese or chinese its literally a differeent version of a fiddle. hell i even heard use in Celtic style music and it works so well... not to mention Erhus were supposedly designed to sound like a woman singing and she just literally replicated that sound with her voice at the end. As someone has been listening to music for DECADES I think i can tell what origin a fucking instrument is from

What a beautiful rendition. I could’ve sworn she said she wouldn’t play the song again a few years earlier. I’m glad she came around to it.
