Teaching a Wild Horse to Lead! Extreme Mustang Makeover 2021

Promise is in training for the 2021 Extreme Mustang Makeover. In today’s video I talked through the steps I took in teaching him to lead:
-Teaching him to move into pressure
-unlocking the hind end
-translating the lateral movement into forward movement
-working through some minor spooking
I am working from the approach of avoiding overstimulating him, as this horse becomes very tuned out and freezes up I do.
