ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on UA-cam and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!
Thanks for watching my videos and please subscribe if you want to see more in future.
When you told Spot to stand and the boys both stopped in their tracks too 😂😂😂
I saw that, it did make me smile 😁
🤣 I loved that too - the boys even stopped faster than Spot! 😁
Enjoy your sheep and your enthusiasm for their beautiful newborns. Pinchers are persistent! Shoo!
That made me laugh out loud ! 😂😂😂
I fully giggled at that! Well trained farm boys there! 💙💚🤘🏻
Cammy you are such a good mentor for those boys. You acknowledge them, their fears and tell them that your scared too while encouraging them to get the job done. I love when you asked them what the sheep was saying and you could see the one young man all of a sudden realized that their sounds are different and there’s sheep language. Loved hearing them say they want to be Shepards and work in farming with you. That makes it worth your while! ❤❤
Those kids were a credit to their parents so well behaved and attentive.
I was in stitches when you told Spot to stand the twins about jumped out their skins and stood like a pair of statues. The wee girl came prepared in her wellies she wasn’t getting pinged by that electric fence.
I asked about the dartmoors a few days ago and here they are. Such lovely little lambs. Sebastian( the dartmoor ram) is doing his job well. Lizzy bringing up this flock from her Devin is a blessing to us sheep fans.
They are absolutly gorgeous. Well done to Lizzy 😊
I have initiated my husband in to The Sheep Game over the past weeks as he is somewhat incapacitated after a knee replacement operation. He has thoroughly enjoyed this experience and now loves watching your videos! It has however expanded discussions in our household, much to my amusement ….. would I as a 65 year old woman with saggy boobs and well past my breeding prime end up with a purple cull tag my ear?! Thank you for lots of laughter!😘
Saggy boobs! Oh my goodness! I nearly choked on my incredulous laughter! Needed that today so tyvm! 🤣
When your camera was scanning the fields, it felt like living in a painting- such beautiful country! What a great day!
It’s so nice that the young ones can be a part of this.
Thanks for taking my lot with you they had a great time with you and glad to see they were actually a help for a change 😂👏🏻
Thanks for all the lovely comments about the twins too 😘
Happy to see you have young helpers today 😊❤️
What a beautiful sunny day. Such a view! We used to hold onto the electric fence to show how tough we were.
It's great to see you having an easier time of it, Cammy. Handy little helpers 😊
I love lambing time. You’re so good with the children and teaching them some farming. Love the white faced Dartmoors.
Superb , Cammy! Those wee Dartmoors are beauties! I love to watch you interacting with the youngsters, and their trust and admiration is obvious. You are enriching their lives, and ours. Many thanks, and love to you all.❤
I love how wooly the Dartmoor's are those lambs are so fluffy already.😊❤
So glad things are finally going well , those Dartmoor’s are perfect
I think my favorite part of your videos are the children...both those helping and the pictures at the end!! Thank you for all that you do.
Thank God for new life a beautiful sunny day, youthful assistants, Spot and a grand blogger! 😊
Fantastic footage Cammy. You're a great mentor for the children. 😊
I'm in love with the Dartmoor lambs 😍 I love your videos when you have such good little helpers with you. Always like a ray of sunshine seeing your children and the children you take round with you.
Oh sure Cammy...making it look easy with Lizzie's trained sheep.
😂
Cracking video. The Dartmoor lambs are like alpaca lambs. Keep up the good work Cammy
Oh my goodness I nearly wet myself when you said "Stand, Stand Spot" and the two boys stopped in their tracks. The boys were delightful.
Lovey video and a nicely paced day for you Cammy.👍👌👍
I wish they would be that attentive all the time 🤣🙈
The best part is they aren't running away from you.
These children are very beautiful. They are learning so well from you Cammy, you must really be proud of them.
The way that the Little Shepherds look up to you is so adorable 🥰
As days go on better weather and lots of amazing lambs born
Well done Cammy

Beautiful wee Dartmoor lambies and their mums Cammy! Lizzy has to be sooo proud 😊. Love seeing the interactions with the children. What a wonderful life experience! Thanks Cammy.❤️🇦🇺🏴
Those lambies off Lizzy's flock are stunning. Solid and wooly like mini sheep.🐑🐑🐑🐑❤
I absolutely Love your videos. They are just amazing and very informative even with the sad parts. I like that you sho the good the bad AND the ugly parts of raising Sheep and birthing lambs.❤
To be blessed to wake up to such beauty everyday❤❤❤❤
You’re so great with the little kids. Your boys will have a great exciting life with you and mom
all the ewes are waiting for Lizzie to have the baby to all start lambing at once
Wow! ❤
Maybe the Dartmoor should have lambed first as the weather was rotten 3 weeks ago. Congratulations great lambs
Thanks for explaining the sheep breeds and breed crosses some more. if you have time or think of it, if you can explain the purposes you chose the breeds and crosses for. wool, meat, good mums, easy lambers, easy keepers. Im still unsure the purpose you chose texel, or the crosses you got. And the pros and cons of each. honestly that could be an entire video of it's own is explaining the pros and cons and purpose of each of the breeds and crosses you now have on the farm. The Dorsets are super cute and good mums.
I live beside Loudon School…..just behind Tesco.
Always look forward to your uploads.
When is the missus going to lamb, I nearly said.. ?
I just started to follow you, so I am not up to date😂
The lambs are so cute, I adored lambing season as a little girl .
We had them all lamb inside as it’s a lot colder where I used to live in Norway, most years the snow didn’t go before mid May.
The day we let the sheep it was a glorious one, the little lambs so exited to be outside playing and jumping and wagging their tiny tails ❤ I could watch them and play with them for hours
Can’t think of a better sight😊
Lovely
Being from Australia, I’m gobsmacked that your paddocks are surrounded by homes, schools etc. Just totally different. Love it ! Loving the videos.
14 minutes seemed so quick! Wow you just riding around checking on lambs.. what a difference and what healthy big babies! Those kids are so tough. Teaching them great life lessons! Thanks for all that you share. Love from the USA!
Thanks for the close-ups on the lambs !
“Just out of the wrapper.“ 😂😂😂
Glad the weather has changed for you Cammie
Hi Cammy. Little helpers today🥰. Three ewes and two babies. Oh four ewes or three, it’s o Iceland sunny there. Howjoyouscanthatbe. Those boys are good helpers❤️👍. Nice, big lambs . What a nice large lamb. Have a great night to you Cammy andyourwholefamiky🥰👍
Excellent day. You are really good with little ones. Encouraging & explaining as you go along. Lovely to see 😍👏🐑🤩
Love the drone footage Cammy, can you do more when Cammy. Also, I love watching the twins out with you too, the boys are so funny. These are lovely looking sheep. How clever was that Mumma walking & delivering her 2nd twin. That was very cool, 1st time I've seen a sheep deliver that way. But aren't they cheeky trying to steal other lambs!, their hormones are going so crazy...
‘Good work for the boys there’. We would also say Cammie ‘They’ll sleep tonight’. The bigger goal, lol. 🇳🇿
Your nice and nephews are so cute and helpful.
Oh my gosh those clouds!!! That Mum and the first baby nursing while she tended to the newborn 💕The wild boys are thinking we have a Wild Uncle haaaa. But they love it. Oh my gosh loved the secondary school and new views of more of ALL the fields you are working. hugs
Hi Cammie
I found you from watching Sandy (sheepishly me) and I have to say I’m hooked on you both now I’m binge watching you on my days off and loving every minute
I’m not a farmer at all
We have friends in the Lake District that have a hill farm and run Herdwick and cooos lol so I’ve seen lambing up there we live on the east coast of England at the seaside in Yorkshire but I’m from Bradford originally so loved watching the wool house vlog and grading wool keep up the fantastic work
I don't know what is cuter those darling kids or the lambs.
The Dartmoors illustrate how much easier lambing can be, when circumstances enable you to have a better relationship with your animals. With the near wild animal level of fear present, it makes rendering any kind of assistance much more difficult. Galloping across wet and windy pastures, with dogs in pursuit, to save a hung lamb - followed by a rugby tackle - may make for exciting UA-cam: but it's wicked hard work. 😮
A boy Cammy another good video 👍.
The wild boys holding the fence like it's nothing 😂😂😂
Beautiful day with beautiful lambs! Molly and the boys are just adorable aren’t they year on year as they grow up! Let’s hope they do decide to go into farming when they’re older 🤞🏻
Just wonderful all the way around!❤❤❤
Oh the white faced dartmoor lambs are so fluffy!
Farm kids are safe. From 6:48 they're walking and chatting and then sheep dog runs alongside and the farmer instructs the sheep dog to "stand, stand" and the 2 boys just freeze in place. They look about for danger or further instruction. They didn't move until they knew he 'released' them by just continuing to talk normally.
I'd be happy to know how many sheep you started with and when lambing is done the new number. Keep up the good work
They maybe don't speak sheep, but they're bonny wee lads!
Hi Cammy please take us through to the end of all lambing I love watching the lambs and listening to that wonderful Scottish accent. I have just watched first born trying to take first drink and then mummy sheep drops the next born on the first borne head, it’s footage like this why I love watching the “ SHEEP GAME” Lots of Love to you and all the sheep game family 😊🏝🦋💖🦮🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I would disagree about your accent holding you back. Perhaps with English viewers, but here in the United States getting to hear your absolutely lovely accent is one of the reasons to watch your channel. You are so popular over here, that when I mentioned my 6 year old daughter's love of your videos to a coworker of mine and she immediately said "the Scottish man that you can't understand everything he says? I love him! His accent is so beautiful." It soon turned out that several of my other coworkers also watch and love your videos (and your voice). We're all city-folk who work at a history museum, and the only place we encounter sheep is at a petting zoo. We might not be the viewers you had in mind when you started the channel, but we're so glad you have it. Never change your accent, it is perfect, and absolutely a part of your charm.
Hello . bed like children really like animals. Your animals are so adorable, congratulations.
Absolutely perfect video. I love seeing normal people doing normal things; however, at my age, chasing sheep around the field would be very abnormal your energy and your kindness and interaction to the kids is just delightful. Perfect video. Thanks for sharing it with us in the US only we could learn to be normal everywhere right? I hope you are well and Lizzie is doing fine.❤
Are we going to get a Cammy, play list?
I have noticed the amount you sing.
These strenuous weeks may have unhinged him just a bit.
Thanks for the daily vlogs Cammy much appreciated😃
Ordered merch today. Nice easy video today.
Awesome! Thank you!
I'm so happy you had a great day.
Cammy I call for adult sheep game onesies!
I love the ewe's "happy mum" baa. I'm so happy that you had such a wonderful day!
Lovely lambs cammy
After watching your video, I think your sheep are well raised. Our company produces solid-liquid separators that can convert animal manure into fertilizer for crop fertilization. If you use fertilizer for grassland maintenance, you can achieve maximum resource utilization. We hope you will carefully consider our suggestion.😄
Love the new filming stick! Aren't they incredible!
Love the dartmoors such lovely looking.See you have plenty of help great video as always x
Omgeee!!! Your children are too cute 🥰 thank you for sharing your videos. Hope you and your y have a fantabulous and blessed weekend 😊😊😊
Another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation documentary countryside content video and a very interesting video to watch .. thanks again Cammy !! ..
Hey! Did Harry just wink at us? ❤ What great kids!
The Dartmoors were stunning. Love the curly wool.
Those twin boys are adorable!!! 🤩
Sheep game stickers believe money to be made ❤❤❤ great episode as usual 😊
Those kids are something else 💪and what cracking lambs.
🤣🤣"Sheep boys"! chasing the stealer ewes just as well as Spot! Child labour! And look at the grins on their faces! 'Wild boys" 😂😂💕💕
The little ones are learning- they did well righting the ewe! ❤
How do you make money on sheep? I have a small “hobby” farm with 1 ram and three breeding ewes. Had 2 lambs six months ago and 7 lambs last month.
We plan on bringing 7 to slaughter or sale in 9-10 months…keep 2 female lambs. Then breed the three original ewes again this fall.
Do you make money on live lamb sales? Selling meat? Wool? Bred ewes, milk? My husband wants me to have a plan…and would like my hobby to bring in some money. Looking for some advice.
Or is it a matter of volume…
Beautiful lambs. 😊❤
Love these videos so much! Some questions though - is there a tally of lambs you can share? What is the hope v. what is the reality? Also, can we call a tally for the times that Spot approaches you for approval?
Also, was wondering if the lameness problems could be digital dermatitis? (I got the idea from watching Hoof GP...). Google tells me that's a thing for sheep now.
Keep up the good work!
I was nearly looking for a field to kip in last night cammy after playing a wedding at Enterkine 😂 Was a knackering drive back to Larbert at 1am 😂 Got in at 2.15 and watched yesterday's vlog.
Your smashing it mate, keep up the good work mate.
This reminds me of A Christmas Romance (1994)

7:31 - 7:33 This reminds me of “Little Bo-Peep” & “Mary Had a Little Lamb” from Nursery Rhymes (1983)
6:47 training for all 3 going well 🤣😃
Thank you
Can you explain why you don’t breed many purebreds and what the aim of each of the various crossbreds is?
I’m very interested in the plan behind the actual breeding choices.
