- For many Abbey Road is the last ‘true’ Beatles record, and it is easy to see why. This video makes a construction of interviews of the 4 beatles and George Martin regarding their last album.
George's comment about Octopus' Garden is so sweet, love to hear his deep love and admiration of his band mate
He loved Ringo so much. They on working with one another after the split.
The 4 greatest musicians and the greatest ever album of all time!
The Greatest Album ever made, By the greatest band of all time, thanks for putting this together.
one day i will thank them personally.
Holy shit you’re right
See u there we’ll remember
@@WillStephensArtdeath? Y’all religious folk really only live for death don’t you?
How in. God's. Name. Are. You. Gonna. Thank. Them. Personally ????????
My eyes misted up reding this. I hope that I can thank them personally one day, too.
Ringo’s final comment “every band should end at 8 years” is spot on! After 8 years, the best of a group has been recorded and they either duplicate themselves or release material that doesn’t measure up.
...with the exception of The Rolling Stones (of course)
Red hot chili peppers would tell you different ahahah
My favourite Beatles album.
Don't get me wrong I love all of their albums.
Abbey Road was the last album they recorded to feature all four Beatles so it has a sentimental value to me.
Thank you Beatles and of course George Martin for all of the great music that all of you guys recorded and produced.
The greatest band of all time.
It’s my favorite Beatles album for sure. “Because” is my favorite track though. I love the harpsichord progression, and then the follow up with the guitar, then those vocal harmonies are just the best.
You are in good company. Both Paul and George have said it is the best track on the album.
It’s got kinda a bohemian rhapsody feel to it with the harmonies… so beautiful… never heard this one before but just ❤ it
Some of the dialog is taken from the David Wiggs interviews that came out about 1976, I have the double LP set. Each Beatle has a side of the LP and they have four interviews each from various years.
wow!, thank you for putting these together
I thought I'd seen every Beatles youTube documentary, so finding this was a lovely surprise. Contributions from them all reflect how the album itself 'came together'! End result is a very succinct completeness. Thanks so much.
The fact that the cover shows them walking away from the studio is accidentally apt and prophetic.
Let it Be's contrivance highlight's Abbey Road's natural flow.
Nice one. Thank you😊x
Abbey road,- is my favorite one!!!! She’s so! One of the best song I ever heard!!!! Thanks for this stuff!!!!
The moog synthesizer and ringos drums and a backing orchestra perfecto
My #1 favourite band..👍🏻🎸 I love the Beatles. The greatest band in the bloody world. Revolver and Sgt. Pepper are my favourite records... for this month 😅 cheers.
Wonderful video, thank you.
Such great pics!! They must have been some of the most photographed people in the 20th century!
Of course
They all hit the finish line at the same time. And, what a finish! They, then graduated to full time service to themselves. Four quarters thereafter.
Simply awesome job!
Its flows like art should
Thank you very much for this podcast
Good video ❤
The whole story is perfect just the way it is. With a perfect beginning, middle and end…
Why wish for anything to be different?
It’s perfect just the way it is, with all the drama and everything ❤
Love George's "puffy shirt."
Thank you, awesome ❤😊
Yes, John, it is a DAMN funky track! Everyone really kicked ass on it, too.
Hey, how's it going?
Listen, I was wondering if you can make a video essay about the history of the English animated band Gorillaz and its members, albums, videos, stories, and phases, please?
Because I think that group deserves its history video made by you and La Hemeroteca.
Thank you!
My favourite song is Oh Darling. Apparently John wanted to sing it but Paul said My song my voice.
And 10cc parodied it in 'Oh Donna' but gave the Beatles no credit.
I knew She Came in Through the Bathroom Window actually happened when fan climbed on bin & managed to get through Paul’s bathroom window.
May seem funny or not. My fave Beatles album is Abby Road. Like so much in life, it's the time and place where you first heard it or experienced something. When it was released I was 13, and just dropped acid for the first time. It was a very different and despite the Vietnam War, things were better then in the States.
Love Paul rocking out on Oh Darling
Because blows my mind.
To me, a Beauty of a song
What they needed was a break.
Can anybody tell me what the clip of the three Beatles & George Martin talking Golden Slumbers comes from please ? Would love to see more of it . Thanks .
Anthology Special Feat.
It’s on UA-cam at Albert Hall, London
What happened to the quiet Beatle 😂
Mannnnnnnnn can ya imagine if John hadda given Yoko (O NO) credit on Because, as she produced the bed track part of the backwards piano melody. Her name on an Abbey Road masterpiece! My fave album ever since it came out in '69, of any genre. Scary thought I know
What is the type face on the text?
Soooo when is the yellow submarine album video coming 😂
The End of an era with a tribute to the Queen.
What I like best about Abbey Road is McCartney didn't get to force one of his songs as a single.
Great songs from George and John and then Paul drivin
the rest of the record w GMartin.Maybe the Best Beatles record
Thank God for Yoko
George says that they were breaking up far before Yoko came along.
Interesting. Ringo once called the “rock opera” junk but later it was great. He says that is his favorite album along with George Martin. Lennon’s was The Beatles, Macca Sgt . Pepper and Harrison Rubber Soul.
My mistake. I watched it a second time and it is John who calls the “rock opera” junk.🤦🏼♂️
John was totally wrong…alot
Did anyone notice the VW Beetle on the left in the background of the cover? 😉
Yes, it was stolen so very many times
I Like side 2.
John and Paul fought a lot during the recordings of Abbey Road.
Maxwell's Sliver Hammer is the low point
Absolutely
I've always said my three favorite albums of all time number one Abbey Road number to Pink Floyd The Wall number three Quadrophenia by The Who
The medley will never, ever be musically and historically surpassed.
"It's mainly Paul shouting" LOL
A lot of synth on this album.
The claim they knew it was their last album doesn't hold bc of the Sept 9 meeting that seems to have not went well and was likely the last straw for John bc only two days later he was telling people he was quiting.
That meeting was the true beginning of the domino effect of their breakup
@@halwiseman9420 Nope...Yoko was the beginning.
@@scottishlady1474 Dude we need to stop putting the blame on women in the industry when reality of the situation is much simplier.
