I remember most of the first few katas I've even seen some of the others demonstrated by other Sensei and some of it is extrapolated from other movements fascinating. I spent so much time in heiko dachi, now I can see why.

It's more from conditioning i guess, but i don't really know as i'm not a karate practicioner
