I truly appreciate Dr McDougall and Mary. I feel so much better and loosing weight. I read all the time how the carnivores put down the vegan community. Calling us sick and malnourished. I’ve never felt better since I ditched meat, dairy and oils

Baked potatoes. Even though I was trying to eat a reduced carb diet for my diabetes I couldn't quite give up potatoes entirely. Then I made a discovery, my airfryer. A microwave is faster but if you like the crisp skin on an oven baked potato, I have found my air fryer to be perfeect. 400 deg for 40 min or so and walk away. When the dinger goes off your baked potato is done, nice and crispy.

He's a great doctor, a great doer, a superman if you consider all the things he has done for the country and the world, eg. passing that law in California, which will surely become a precedent for other states who want to follow suit.
But, and though he may not be sexist, or at least not half as bad as the usual MCP, he shouldn't be talking like that about himself or his wife, Mary. She can turn around and say the same thing about him - that though he has the testosterone and all, if she is old, he is too, duh!

What's your source for what you're saying please? And have you gone through Dr M's Starch Solution presentations on YT, or read the books and Newsletters? Kindly, the science doesn't support what you're saying here.
People will struggle to lose weight if that starch is prepared with added fats and oils, and/or lots of refined sugars and syrups perhaps: but that is not then a starch based diet.

He did - if she's type 1.5 diabetic, she'll need some insulin. That's then visiting her doctor, for looking at pancreatic function.
You're better off, diabetic or not, going on brown rice than white rice from the Program guidelines. It's not a dealbreaker if you're not diabetic, and if it's vegetables and fruits without grease and oil with that white rice, probably most will do just fine - as long as vit B12 source is included, and some sunlight, both of which we all should also be wary of anyway.
Epidemiologically and historically, all other things being equal, rural Far East people did really well on that.

I'm sorry that you don't like brown rice, but plenty of people do. And any arsenic in rice, in itself, is not due to it being brown or white, in and of itself. It's due to the soil, and arsenic containing pesticides that may have been used on that soil previously.
Yes, brown will contain more, if the rice comes from those type of soils, but it is possible to source rice from arsenic free ones. Arsenic soils tend to be ones that have been grown with non-organic cotton, in previous years.
